1808 Beijing Rd West is being gutted and remodeled. The owners two other locations are locked and on hold. The space iwas well suited for a massage parlor. Six years ago there was a blatant FS joint two doors away. Tarts in skimpy dresses and cleavage bursting out. The sign read "luxury hair wash" It was closed pretty fast. So the action moves to other parts of town. Sounds like capitalism, but there was not lack of demand for the supply in Jingan.

Went to Sacrosa at 6:30 PM this evening and there were already 6 or 7 men there getting naked or showering before rushing off to pick the girls. Things are definitely opening back up in gubei / min hang. Even Hong song (aka pine club) is opening back up. Most of my old haunts are open now, and I'm back in the states for a couple weeks.

I can confirm this, Minhang has reopened with a vengence. Several old saunas are back in business and also new ones popping up. In fact there's a surge in supply that caused business in other districts to slow down. Most places have specials where 2-3 of the lower end girls go for less than 600 rmb.

It is a little confusing. I passed by earlier this evening a few foot massages places in S HngmI Road that were closed with seal tags from the Minhang LE on their doors. To add a bit more. The sauna is in the same building as the hotel. The hotel entrance is the big door with the doorman on the right side, the sauna is the door abot 20 meters to the left with a small stairway up. Go in and there will be a receptioin desk on the right. They will know what you're there for.
