Hello Folks, its been a while since I wrote as I have moved to Saudi Arabia. Anyway to cut story short I came to dubai two days ago and I am staying in Fairmont SZR and its dead from all aspects I rarely see guests even, CIN CIN, CAVALLI everything is closed except the bar in the lobby.
NO GUESTS are allowed and there are a security guard always by the elevators who keeps checking, so today I asked him and he said no guests are allowed as per the police instructions on SZR road no hotels are allowing guests so they are all becoming Red, however not sure about other hotels but fairmont is definitely Red now.
Thought of sharing the news, Good night.

Hey guys,
I plan on visiting Dubai next month for 2 days just for mongering purposes. I have previously stayed in Avari but didn't bring any one up. Would anyone know the situation of Avari Deira if its girl friendly (green) or not and the norms to bring a lady up to the room.
Secondly would anyone be able to suggest any other hotel / hotel apartment which is purely green and if possible avoids the lady to pass from the Reception.
Would appreciate the help.
Cheers.

How much does Burjuman Rotana charge for the entry? And how is the scene during Ramadan?
Thanks in advanced.

LE Meridien. Definitely green. Confirmed like the last user.
I was in one of their older rooms so I had to go by the reception area. I was little nervous but the girl that I pulled from Jules just walked up to the reception and called the hotel employee over and gave her ID. The whole process seems very normal and "none out of ordinary" process so that made me comfortable. If you are in some of the newer rooms, there are definitely a way to avoid the reception altogether.

HI Mongers. I just moved to Dubai.
Can any of you guys recommend a fully furnished apartment that I could take up where regular mongering won't be a problem. Especially from pesky neighbors or apartment security.
Can pay around 7-8 K a month.
How is Chelsea Apartment at Discovery Gardens.

I'm contemplating travelling to Dubai from the 10th to the 15th of June. Was wondering if any hotels or serviced apartments during this period are green? I'd like at least a 4 star place, preferably 5 since I'll be staying there as well. Any help appreciated!
