Starting in Cartagena - 9 - 16th (First trip to Cartagena).

Then after Cartagena my plans are open. Thinking about going back to Medellin after visiting last year.

I spent the last year brushing up on my Spanish and now want to put it to practical use.

I will be enjoying myself to the fullest in Cartagena starting 25th July. We're in high season so there must be quite a few paisitas with big bolt-ONS around and during my 10-day trip I'll look into recruiting them in the streets, malls, pretty much anywhere. After dark I'll be frequenting spots like LDV, Torre de reloj and Pleyclub. I'm European, in my forties, obviously fluent in Spanish and visited Cartagena several times before.

Going down to Columbia this July Fourth weekend. Will be in Medellin only for this quick trip. I'll be wearing my stars and stripes tank top with shorts and sandals. Also plan to take hookers to linen and silverware fine dining family restaurants. How much should I tip street girls?

If you tipped street girls more than 10° they tend to fall over, unless you take their shoes off first.

Will be arriving in Medellin on the 14th and attending Spanish school at EAFIT for two weeks starting on July 18 until the 30th.

I will be staying in the Ciudad De Rio area.

Will have some free time late afternoons / evenings and will be prowling around El Centro.

I only do the street scene and don't patronize the bars / strip clubs / casa's.

I looks wise can pass for a Colombian so blend right in.

My Spanish is a work in progress and I consider myself about 20% fluent.
