Over the last 6 months I have followed the postings here. There has been much talk about the difficulty in mongering in UB. Suggestions have been the Casablanca, Grand Khan Irish Pub, Springs Hotel sauna, etc. There have also been suggestions to call the numbers in "advertisements".

Well, unless you read Russian Cyrillic, you are out of luck. Virtually no signs, brochures, maps, etc. Are in English. Even in the hotel room where you would normally encounter English in the hotel information, there was none. You can't ask a taxi driver unless you speak Mongolian – and I only saw two taxis in the three days I was in UB.

One night I visited the Irish Pub. Yes, it was hopping. There were probably 100 people there sitting indoors and outdoors at the tables. And yes, there were some great looking girls. But they were all there to socialize with friends. None were making eye-contact with anyone except at their tables.

I did see one woman walk through who appeared to be a SW and who tried making eye contact with likely clients. However she was older and skanky looking.

I also tried the Casablanca bar at the Bayangol Hotel. There may have been 5 people there – and no girls.

Although I've read about the massage at the Springs, paying $80 for a rough massage and a hand-job just wasn't appealing.

There was a local who hinted around that he might be able to help. Someone even bought him an ISG membership. But nothing every came of that.

Yes, the women of Mongolia are exotic and beautiful. But there just isn't any "industry" or dependable routine such as you would find in China. It's pretty much a wasteland for mongerers. Better to just head for Maggie's in Beijing or Hari's in Hong Kong.

Went to Life massage close to bumbugur. They offer just massage, washing etc but there is a package on the menu. I asked what it was, the reception paused for a few seconds and looked at me. Then she said it was massage, wash and gulgaa. I took that one for 70 K.

Sounds similar to the massages that I have had from Springs Hotel in UB Central.

I described one experience in Post 412 on this thread and I have since been back several times.

The first time I had the same experience desctibed by Jaylff.

Was staying at Ramada Inn. They have a bar on top 17th floor. Around 9:30 went there. Lot of couples and groups. Saw a single girl sitting by herself, drinking tea. 1. Asian spa up in the 3, 4th district, along the road Modnii 2 to the west ca 2 km from Strings. Nice body rub and massage girls have nice lingerie and slips on you up and down and an extra massage from backside between the legs.

2. Grand massage. 1 in Zaisan area turning right after Orgil supermarket along the road to Zaisan. The other one is close to Hermes construction materials center. Similar to Asian spa, sometimes girls were prettier.

3. Relax. 1 on the opposite side of Grand massage in zaisan area. The other one I remember was in the apartments close to Home plaza.

4. Sisi. Located in American den north west from Kempinski.

5. Of course, everybody know UB massage branches. Can be good massage without that much extra as the others.

Any other places to recommend?
