I have been to the Philippines 5 times, but have been in a relationship. Now I want to take a trip to Asia and hit Chiang Mai, Sihanoukville and Angeles City. Maybe three months total. Just going to find cheapest one way flight to either chiang Mai, or Bangkok. Stay in Chiang Mai for maybe a month. Then up to Sihanoukville for a month, back to Bangkok for a week, and then to Angeles City for three weeks.

In Angeles I will chat with DIA etc a month before hand. Then work the Malls and DIA girls. But I also want to try the P4P options.

The vaste majority of AC bargirls are looking for MONEY, not good looks. Any ugly man waving 1000 peso notes around and throwing pesos onto the dance stage is suddenly young, handsome and very, very popular. When I went to Ermita in the vintage days, same story. An ugly old Japanese came in the bar and the immediate magnetism was truly amazing. Yes, youth and looks count, but with the vaste majority of bar girls, that is far, far down the priority list.

With internet girls one has to filter out bar girls going online for extra cash. With non bar girls on internet, the motivation is usually marriage (money, passport, support for family, student fees, college costs, support of their kids etc.). Some are very sincere really loving girls, but one has to do a lot of careful filtration. I have had terrific success outside the bar scene mainly with girls without kids who are qualified teachers, nurses etc. I never bed down on first date, but behave totally charming. Later I tell them 'no money, no marriage' and the relationship gets even stronger. I say I am divorced and had unhappy experience before, so marriage is off. I use dual SIM cellphones and never receive texts when on a date. All texts are received vibration only and are read and deleted when I go to the CR. Wonderful fun place.

In my ten months in the Philippines, the number of times I've seen a truly drop dead gorgeous girl, pro or non, with a foreigner: 1. Number of hotties with a Sub-1 Ass Fungus local dude who would make the jankiest of us look like Channing Tatum in a Mach 3 commercial: way too many. It's just how it is. Can we stop crying about it now? It has nothing to do with your age or your looks. Blame the sailors! Blame the Koreans and the rising GDP! I first went to AC in the period 1996-2000 when it was a genuine party town.

Lots of fun, whether alone or in a group.

After a hiatus of several years I returned around 2005 and stayed only one night. I couldn't wait to leave.

The decline was extraordinary.

I've never been back since that visit and I have no intention of ever doing so.

My comment is based on "relative merit".

No doubt guys who didn't know what it used to be like think it's still OK, and that's OK too. This is JMHO.
