Actually, a shill is a fake review given of an establishment I'm tired of all these posts about the many scams we believe there to be in Thailand. Look, if you recommend a shop to a customer and the shop needs people to introduce the shop to customers, why shouldn't the guy get something for his trouble. This is his job. If you are going to complain about 500 baht more then you shouldn't even be mongering in Thailand. The only time I would agree this would be a bad thing is if the said guy recommending you to a shop, actually puts you in a fake shop where the girls or Thai staff steal from you or something but there is definatly nothing wrong with paying a commission to a guy for introducing customers to shops. If the customer and shop are all happy then great.

Actually Dog shilling while it can be need not be an actual fake review. That was my point. I was referring to internet shilling rather than touting which in its many manifestations I find difficult to defend. Sure the tuk tuk lad who gets a commission for delivering some newbies to a regular Turkish bath, good luck to him. When the same tuk tuk lad picks up tourists who end spending 10's of thousands of baht on overpriced gems that's different. As to mentioning scams on ISG I agree some are petty some just sour grapes but I would hesitate suggesting that nobody should bring certain situations to members attention. I've noticed recently much more than in the past an attempt by some members to dictate the nature of what gets posted as if only their wise and worldly contributions have any validity. As a wise man said I may not agree with what you post but I will defend to the death your right to post it.

Ok I'll bite. Go to Akane massage. No FS is available but BJs & HJs. Just google it. Also there are many small shops off of side streets, just go to Makkasan Rd, turn right, then make another right at the curve and that small street has many shops. All are closer to Central World which is not too far from Siam Paragon.

Although massage shops are everywhere, its a strange requirement to want them to be near to Siam Paragon, etc. I guess the guy wants to get a naughty in while the wife is shopping. When guys post strange requests, it's better if they explain the motivation, so we don't get too baffled.

Those toots on the road or maybe a taxi or Tuk Tuk driver? We all know they are in the pockets of many shops so what's the big deal? Who are you really referring to?

For this post to be useful, please tell us who we need to be careful of when getting recommendations for a service provider? OK enough guys, it's very simple. I think BKKdog is pulling your leg. I don't know much about Siam Paragon so maybe I shouldn't pipe up but as you are a noob I'll try and give you some very basic advice.

There are 2 types of massage. Oily and soapy.

Oily tends to be very pornstar style, do whatever you want and they tend to provide extreme services.

Soapy tend to be "softer", full service but more of a soapy bath and quite vanilla sex. (In my experience).

I like the oilies. Current favourites are snow white on soi 26 and bongkot on soi 24.

My favorite soapy was Nataree but that was shutdown and I am not too up to date on others. Have a search though.
