Mongering is not really compatible with hooking up with Hotel Receptionist in a classy Hotel. You don't have much show of hooking up with them, assuming they are top quality.

They can be very choosy about your class, nationality, amount of money etc.

In a low class Hotel maybe. You did ask about cheap Hotels.

You have to consider that a non P4 P girl won't want to be seen with a probable monger Farang in Pattaya other than she will take you to some place where she can get a commission from the house, e. G. Restaurant or disco.

But only where you are in public view. She won't go to your room.

Putting things back into perspective, the Cowboy burger stand is going to cost you $5 for a pretty good burger. A large (too large for me) pretty good quality steak can be had else where for $25 (e. G. Bradman's). A smaller one for much less. A wouldn't waste $100 on a steak, I would rather waste it on girls. LOL.

I heard good things about Firehouse and wanted to try it one hot late afternoon, but it is a small restaurant and the only available seating at that moment was outside so I passed on it. I will give it a try sooner or later. The burgers looked good.

Whisgars / Craft has another location on the corner of Silom and Surasak. I passed by it one afternoon and smiled. The branch on Soi 23 is very popular. I like a good craft beer as much as anybody. My current favorite brew is Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. A really tasty brew. I wonder if it is available in BKK. Kind of doubt it.

El Gaucho; I have walked past the place so many times. Sounds like it is the real deal, but $100 for a steak, yikes, that's more expensive than the Capital Grill back home. Does it come with parmesan truffle fries or at least an empanada on the side. 555. Thanks for the tip.

    Planning a trip in October

    Guys,

I'm planning to visit Pattaya this October.

    Please clarify some doubts.

    1. Since I am alone can I get a lady companion from Pattaya. If yes then how much will I have to pay?

    2. I never visited any bar in Pattaya so walking street is new to me. Heard about tony disco. Can you elaborate on that.

    3. A cheap and best hotel to stay in Pattaya?

    4. Precautions while travelling alone?

    5. Last time I found really beautiful receptionists there how to hook up with them?

    Please help me.

In that area, Firehouse, right around the corner is very good.

But if there ever was a good expensive steak in BKK it has to be El Gaucho. Argentinian pampa grass fed cuts. MAn, I can't wait to sink my teeth into a filet mignon! Slurrppp.

And the ribs, chorizo and other stuff are great too. Definitely on the expensive side. And they make a mean Capirinha with plenty of cachacha.
Agreed, but damn 100 USD for a steak is really pricey. Empanadas excellent as well. Good budget steak try Colors Cafe near W District Phrakanong.

The place opposite is called Whisgars and the Restaurant part is called Craft I believe. I once met the probable head chef of Craft, before it opened, who was dining in Bradman's Sports Bar at the time. He was pretty confident his restaurant was going to be very special quality, but I haven't tried. I assumed the price would be higher. I guess he was an American. Chef's at Bradmans are Thai of course but well trained in Western food.

Chefs at @corner bar Burger Stand are from Myanmar most likely. They don't speak Thai as well as I do. However they do a good job. They know exactly how I want it.

The Nana Plaza Burger Stand have very inferior burgers. I suggest do not take one from there. Really crap meat. Is it even beef? The colour is light. Full of fillers?
Burgers- Burgers and Bangers on the sub-soi right before Suk Soi 20 or Chunky Soi 23 turn right after Craft.

Craft is very expensive. Want some good craft beer? Hit Wishbeer on Suk 67 for happy hour. 200 baht pints of Euro and US beer.

    Thansk sounds great /.

I will check it out when I am back in town next month.

    Cost of Living in Bangkok

I went to local Tesco Super Market and local food stalls.

Spent a total of 400 Baht, on nutritious food including vegetable dominated content in most dishes, supporting low Carbohydrate diet to enable weight loss.

Will last me 3 days plus including today, where have only eaten Rolled Oats so far. Can be refrigerated and reheated.

So can live on about $5 a day for food, no problems, it have a microwave, and eat at home. This is buying very affordable types of food, no imported stuff.

Rent for me in this room is 8000 Baht per month with furniture, plus electricity is extra. I supply a portable Induction Cooker and microwave.

So rent plus electricity is about $10 per day. In another 10 to 20 years It won't be this good of course.

My location is not totally optimal for mongering. LOL. Chosen by GF. In future I will move to a house in the country, for the quiet life, so I will probably not be in Bangkok sufficiently to justify renting by the month any more.

I waste some of my rent due to being here only 4 months per year, but its still cheaper than staying in a Hotel. I do not bring girls here to fuck.

Don't want everyone to know what a sleaze bucket I am.

Can use the money saved (over living in Farang Country) for mongering.

On way home from shopping near On Nut BTS a very hot girl in long black dress, cute ass, and good sized tits, passed. Despite the big sunglasses hiding her face she immediately reminded me very strongly of a hot Twisters dancer I had admired. Could not be sure so possibly wrong.

Two days earlier spotted Praow (crazy House ex DollHouse) going up stairs to go to work via the BTS (On Nut). This time certain, and she recognised me since I have fucked her long time ago. Pity she did not like kissing, DATY, or BJ. Her tits and pussy are useless (even on the girl instead of on a bull). So many girls from Cowboy live in district of Pra Khanong, On Nut, or Ratchadaa Sois. I like to think of On Nut as being like how a Thai would pronounce "All Nude". Not quite but near enough.

Thanks Natty. You are a font of info!

Haven't had the burger but I do like the Steak Tatar at Oskar. And they do a mean old fashioned too. Nice, classy and relaxing place.

The eye candy on offer, though, is not so great. A little old for my taste. Though I have spied a few nice milfs there in the past.

My usual spot that makes a good Burger is at @Corner bar opposite The Old Dutch restaurant at end of Cowboy. I don't take French fries and haven't checked out anything other than Burger with everything, in my case including fried onions and they have pepper to put on if you like (essential for me), and a variety of sauces. Fortunately they do not put on any Mayo or other crap which would make it soggy. I am sure you can you own mayo if desired. The quality of the meat is reasonable. My favourite waitress is named Carrot. She is funny.

The views of guys with interesting girls or LBs walking past is quite entertaining, not exactly always candy, but some very nice looking girls. It's right next to Baccara.

For a more exotic burger (at a higher price), Bradman's sports bar Soi 23 has a lot of interesting burger variations. The Juicy Lucy is my favorite but it is a big thick patty so takes a little time to cook. They also have a burger with Portobello mushrooms that I like. Then there are US style or Aussie style, and others. Favourite waitress Aey.
