You obviously have never been there prior to the renovation. For sure, they have worked on that place. It used to have curtains for the doors to the rooms. Now it has doors to the rooms. Haha. Considering you didn't even go to the rooms though and went there during the afternoon, I wouldn't say that report is completely accurate. I do agree that going there at 4 pm is not the best time to go.

Try that place late at night around 11 pm. It's a place similar to Milles where the trippers go. It's rocking late at night. For me, it's far away, so I rarely go. I do like one of the girls who dances there on occasion though so I do visit her sometimes. If you are near there, it's a decent option. I would never stay in that area though, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone that they stay at a hotel near there unless they have to for work.

Of all the places in Jakarta to choose, I find it bizarre that you would choose Emporivm spa over any other. I don't think the quality there is as good as many other places in town. It's a good place, but to single that particular place out is a bit odd in my opinion.

They do accept International Cards from the USA. I have no idea if they accept them from India.

Thank-you for the reply. Sincerely appreciate it. This trip was unexpected and therefore I couldn't delve much to Rtff. Of the limited posts I came across, This particular place appeared the most appealing and Hygienic. Thank-you for the heads up about the quality part. I would be pleased if regular members here can pitch in with their inputs on the same. It's just that since I am cramped for time on this short trip, I can afford a single or at max a couple of visits only.

As I was staying in the Grogol area for a few days I decided to check out Medika Bar on Daan Mogot especially as it was reported that it might of been renovated / improved or something happened. At best IMHO it might of gotten a good dusting or a semi cleaning and that's it. But anyway left early around 530 pm and did see a total of around 35 girls show up for work who are available from 320 k to 360 k. Definitely nothing approaching a semi stunner could be found and left me desiring to flee back to FM1 to try my luck there. At least with FM1 the rooms are better that Classic / Hotel Travel. As I didn't take a girl from Medika I can only guess how the rooms are and would hazard a guess that maybe on the Pen J high side. Definitely nothing at Medika to make one go out of his way to get there. At least with the nearby FM1 you do get a b'Fashion type environment and a chance of getting a stunner for 275 K. On past visits that has happened to me but not this trip.

Incidentally did meet a Japanese guy working in Australia as a dance instructor or did pick the cutest girl of the sad bunch who had a nice slim figure, cute face but god awful tattoo across her chest. He mentioned that the prior night he agreed to a CJ freelancer's request to spend the night with him for 1,000 k. He originally was intending to just have a few drinks and to just gawk. Hi fellow mongers!

I'm travelling for the first time to Jakarta tomorrow for work where I'll be staying for 3 days.

I will then have another 3 days to spare but doesn't know where to go!?

Can anyone give me a piece of advice? I don't want to go to Bali but is there some other places where I can just chill out at beaches yet find some action in the evenings?

I am slowly settling in S'pore where I'll be based for the next 2 years and getting used to the scene here. Feel free to reach out if you need any insight on the Lion city.

Hewwo. Zuka has arrived in Jakarta. Took a Damri bus from soekarno-hatta to Gambir (40.000), then proceeded to my hotel in a cab. Jakarta seems as hectic as usual. On my first night went to jl. Jaksa for a beer. Quite fun, though the girls are so so, didn't asked the price. Instead went to Pen-J. Most of the clubs there pretty same, funky kota and mostly local guys, saw maybe 3 other bules. Small bintang costs 30.000. My favorite bar is L. A, found a girl there, took her upstairs. 21 yo from Puncak. Price 330.000. Sex was surprisingly good. After that walked to Jakarta station and ordered gojek. Earlier saw some girls sitting under the flyover from Pullman to Grand Indonesia and putting on makeup. I don't know if they are for take or not, didn't asked, too many people around. Looked quite young too. That's all for today. My first post in Jakarta forum. Was fun reading old posts from 2002 until today, learned a lot about the scene and the recent history of Jakarta too.

Well I think there's been nothing but positive comments about this place Vins Lounge, Spa and Karaoke in pondoh Indah so I figured I had to check it out. After a late lunch at Gandaria City Mall I took a cab over; however, it was extremely difficult to find as there was no signage. It looked like a boarded up store front so something must of happened. But anyway found out it was open and I guess if you're in the area and only have 200 k on you and don't want to go to an ATM for more cash its an ok deal for a moderately reasonable massage and a blow job finish at 180 k. The girls are maybe low 7's at best and I think I'm being a bit generous. As you walk in the place it has a distinct look of a underground club. The massage rooms are not very clean and the shower area is horrible. Now I went to the Vins Lounge using the address shown on another website, Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda 7 D. But anyway I would not make any effort to go back to this place and IMHO the upstairs area where the massages are given is pretty down market.

Some of these are in Northern region (Alexis, Grand Boutique Tangerang). Others are clustered around Central Jakarta. Staying at hotels like Favehotel pasar baru / Redtop / Grand Mercure / G7 etc would mean shorter commute to places like Classic, Emporivm, Malio etc.

While that would ensure shorter commutes to the brothels in north Jakarta, Kuningan City is not really what I consider to be "south" Jakarta. It's basically central since it's as north as you can get in the area flagged as south Jakarta. It just depends what you want. If your only goal is sex in brothels, then staying in mangga besar is great. However, the Kuningan City area is a fairly nice area in Jakarta. The areas like mangga besar with the hotels that are near the brothels are in a crap area of the city.

Your old haunts like Kartika are still there and still open prior to 11 pm. Actually, all of brothels up north are open and kicking by 4 pm. You've been posting here a while, I think you know the ropes pretty well already. We would all love for free lancers to be readily available prior to 11 pm like they were in the early 2000's when you could go to pasaraya during the afternoon and top gun at 6 pm and find girls, but it seems those days are gone. These days you can use wechat to send a "massage girl" to your room, but there is no guarantee that the girl will look like her photo. I have had pretty good success with wechat massage services overall, but I have had a few bad ones as well. If they show up not looking like the girl they promised, I just send them back, so it's no loss. You can also use Tinder or other phone apps to meet girls and they may come to your room. Once you do meet free lancers at the bars and get their phone numbers, they will come to your room prior to 11 pm if you want.
