Think you will find that although the you tube was posted there recently it was shot some time ago, how do I know, the girl Jocelyn sitting outside the shot of Dclub left over a year ago, is now married with a new baby and living in Australia.

What the video does clearly show though is how quiet Angeles city is of punters and girls, few years ago most bars on fields avenue would have 20/30/40 great looking door girls standing outside in short sexy clothes trying to get punters in with (Hello, sir, welcome to xxxx club) grab you by the arm and walk one straight in, now none, where the hell have they gone, some of my best looking girls and best lays were door girls.

What was also very apparent to me was that the best looking girl with the best body in the video was the ladyboy in the white top and black skirt by a long shot, not that I am in to guys in dresses LOL.

Stupid idiot poster could not even tell the difference though and is posting a guide to Angeles city LOL.

Have to fully agree that some punters could get caught out by the mrs being in Angeles when they should be somewhere else.

As promised in some previous posts, here is my guide and report on the one and only Angeles city. As I have done for Pattaya and Phnom Penh, I have tried to give some guidance to another traveller following the same route. I believe this will be useful to the traveller going there, and equally feel confident that those experienced and living in Angeles will indulge me and agree with a decent portion of what I will have written.

Good work and I've added it to RoD.

I'm sure all of us reading it will have be matching and liking various experiences along the way. I always think that the smaller bars change mamasans and policies so often that what happens in one week will be completely different next month. For me, I've had some amazing stunners from Voodoo but that was more than a year ago.

Regarding HiSo and the girls sitting down at tables. I was told by one of my call center dates that when she goes there with friends, that they will get a table so that they do not get picked as prostitutes. So, I think from this that local girls sitting in a group will not be looking for P4 P and that girls standing around will generally be P4 P. That will probably not always hold.

Trip report and thoughts to help the newbies.

Visited Angeles city on 4 separate occasions during November mostly on business but nights were spent barhopping.

Bars that need to improve greatly, get better looking, slimmer girls are.

Emotions bar, an old favorite bar, now a shadow of its former self,5 girls on stage, all rough,1 customer in.

Tropix bar, walked in mama trying to mediately sit me down, I said I was looking for my mate, had a quick look at what was on stage and left disappointed, 1 customer.

Champagne bar, man what happened here, have in previous years seen some fairly attractive girls here, now 3 girls on stage looking bored, few girls sitting around playing with phones and chatting among themselves, no lookers, no customers.

Club Ra, was told about this bar from some Korean clients, they said it had a few OK looking girls, saw 1 girl that was both attractive and slim bought her a drink, tried to barfine but she made excuse not to, maybe other lookers had all been barfined already, will try again on my next visit in few days time,4 Korean customers when I went in.

After dark bar, walked in walked back out again.

Lost in Asia bar, now Korean owned and have started to only have 1 girls dancing on stage at a time, each girl dances for 3 songs, stayed for a beer and watched 4 girls, no lookers.

Candy bar, after many recommendations from many board members and claims of stunners I was back to candy bar once again, my last visits had been disappointing but wanted to give this bar a fair shout,8 girls, older, fatter than I like but in saying that the girls were very talkative and tried their best to get me to barfine but girls just not to my taste, had few westerners in, asked about in house blow jobs (just to see if it was possible not that I wanted one) as had been reported here but was met with blank stares, nice friendly atmosphere but girls lacking.

Atlantis bar, the best of the best for attractive, slim girls consistently over many visits, about 80 girls, some doing the shows, some standing on the top balconies and many sitting drinking in groups with customers, no western customers at all, Koreans, Japanese and Indian Malays, most customers sitting with girls, Has to be hands down the best bar in Angeles if one want fairly attractive girls but with the looks comes high prices and many princesses that refuse to barfine, not saying that no girls barfine with certain customers but most are there for drinks only.

Club Asia, has to be the second best bar in Angeles,40 odd fairly pretty girls, most smiling, friendly and willing to chat over a dld (300 p) saw 1 girl that was my favorite but as with many Angeles pretty girls she was a cherry (virgin) left alone.

Noticed that some bars on or very near fields avenue have started opening from early afternoon 1 pm, these bars are Lollipop, Arcadia, Body shop, Viking, all seemed to have a few customers, maybe the perimeter road bars had better get in some better looking, younger, slimmer girls before they lose what few customers they have to the fields bars that now open at same times with better girls.

In summing up, very few customers in all Angeles bars, Koreans outnumber westerners by very large amounts and the girls definitely prefer the high spending low fucking Koreans to westerners by a long way from what I could see.

By far more attractive, slim, younger girls can be found on fields avenue especially in Atlantis bar and club Asia, the difference between fields bars and perimeter bars is like night and day IMHO, that said its more likely to be able to get laid on perimeter than fields all be it my older fatter uglier girls.

The choice of visiting Angeles city or not is down to how fussy one is in his choice of girls, those that are choosy might find very few girls that appeal and when they do many girl just will not barfine.

Inevitably, my recent trip to Pattaya will induce some comparisons I feel suitable to make. And may give some hints as to what sets both places apart. Whilst Pattaya may be considered Sex City, Angeles is very much Sex "Town", smaller in size while feeling much more homely and easy to get to know (not to mention, more difficult to get lost in late at night).

To get the obvious point out of the way: Yes, Angeles is still worth visiting and is amazing in my opinion. Yes, it probably isn't as great as it was in the 80's and 90's, but I would like to know which place in Asia was NOT better during that time. We have only here and now, so I feel it isn't helpful to dwell on the nostalgia of a time that many of us were not able to experience.

Yes, the Koreans are out in force and have built up a number of bars, their money throwing antics can get on people's nerves, but I hardly think they have anything on the Western white traveller who can get around much more easily. Leave the Koreans to the girls who offer little service for large amounts of money.

The Filipinas (pinay, whatever) took my breath away. They are natural man pleasers, seemingly their mix of Spanish blood (I get the impression that they are hornier than most of their Asian counterparts) and largely fluent English, in my opinion, beat other destinations in Asia hands down. The treatment I have received, is unlike any I have ever seen. A barfine seems to earn you the king's treatment, all night. This is a double edged sword however in my opinion as it makes them the most dangerous set of felines for those who wear their hearts on their sleeve. Sometimes the language barrier and "strictly business" can be beneficial. But I digress.

During my time in Angeles I believe I visited most of the bars in town and will mention those that stood out for better or for worse. I hung out in large part with locals rather than tourists and believe that I got to see the city's scene more intimately as a result.

The Guide:

Most people divide Angeles, for mongering purposes, into two parts: Fields and Perimeter (Don Juicio Avenue) which are both essentially one long street.

I would rather divide the city up as follows for the bars: 1) Fields (far right until Atlantis) 2) Upper Fields (further, Road House until Pony Tails) 3) Perimeter (everywhere to the right of Pony Tails).

1) Fields.

It stands to reason that Fields is the centre of town, has the largest concentration of bars, and the highest barfines to match. It has been written that they have the highest quality of girls. I beg to differ and have found that a higher price tag does not necessarily translate into prettier girls and least of all better service. Nevertheless some of the Dollhouse Group Bars do stand above the rest: Atlantis in particular which has massive amounts of girls on stage, as well as two floors. However, Fields is also replete with overpriced bars and pool dens with plain or ugly dwarves that you wouldn't fuck for free. It really all depends. Ripoff Korean traps like Club Asia with extortionate barfines are an unfortunate fact of life here too.

The bars mostly open later, from 5 or 6 onwards until 3 am. This is the later night area.

At the same time, Fields has the nightclub High Society, which is the best in town and getting familiar with would not be a bad thing. Here are the bars I would mention:

Atlantis: Probably the most expensive recommendation but has tons of girls. Beer is 125 pesos. Barfines of 3000 pesos (pretty much standard for most of Fields). Great vide here though. Sunday's had the Who let the dogs Out show, for 200 peso entry, you get 3 local drinks and lady drinks are then only 120. Probably the top bar in Angeles for selection and pomp. Apart of the Dollhouse Group.

Tropix: On the parallel street below Fields. A good bar with reasonable prices and pretty girls. Also apart of the Dollhouse Group. A gem in my opinon with barfines of 2000 pesos (for non green tags, 3000 for those with green tags) in an otherwise expensive area, great service and cheap drinks. Happy hour until 8 I believe.

Salambo: A decent bar with good service. Worthwhile or the location. Round stage.

Champagne wasn't bad but it depends on whether the Koreans are in or not.

I wouldn't recommend Dollhouse or Crystal Palace (both are the same bar; split into two sides of a parallel street): Same prices as Atlantis for shorter uglier girls.

Other bars some recommend are Qbar, Vikings, Lollipop, but I couldn't see massive difference between them.

Club RA: Stands out for its sheer size. I only went in once, as it seemed a bit disorienting and loud. But filled with some good looking girls. Pricy I believe.

Centauro: Has a takeout restaurant outside and is open till 6 am. Revolving stage. Can't comment further on it.

High Society: Angeles City's main night club. (Aside from Skytraxx in Upper Fields but I wouldn't bother with that one) Paid entry Friday and Saturday (200 pesos), free the rest of the week. I recommend coming here later if you must, around 2 or 3 am when all the bars are closing and most of the girls looking for customers or just chilling out come in. It closes at 5 am. Going rate I think should be 1000, handed over the next morning when she leaves.

Voodoo: The last bar. Open 24 hours. I like to call it the intoxication fuelled hell of Angeles city. This purgatory contains a constant reminder of what awaits those that have not found a girl by 5 am with punishing 105 peso local drinks, a drunken sausage party entourage and the ugliest rejects dancing on stage. I remember vividly being here on my second last night sat in front of a pretty woman who refused to talk to me, who didn't even work in the bar, unless I bought a lady drink or rang the bell (4500 p) (For the record, of course I didn't and just went home). In short, try not to end up here alone.

In closing, Fields is a great place. But given that this is only area many tourists ever see of Angeles, not the best. My first few nights I hung around here, before moving on to the other areas.

2) Upper Fields.

Heading outside of Walking Street, along Perimeter Avenue (it essentially is always the same direction and same road to get anywhere), past Phillies restaurant to your left, a large quantity of bars are all on the left side. The barfines start to drop here from 3000 to 2500 for many of the bars, as well as the drink prices.

I would skip the first "two". Road House and Angelwitch are essentially the same bar with the girls making rounds between both in between lineups. Some lookers here though. Take a left.

YabYum: Skip it for the one next door.

Route 69: A good bar. Frequented by expats. Barfine is 2000 here. Good number of pretty girls. Go here, what else can I say.

Back along Perimeter Ave:

New Orange Bar: Good one. BF is 2200. Good drinks prices. Very laid back atmosphere. A new one I believe. Open till 2.

After Dark: Good bar. Some real lookers here. Decent prices. Barfine of 2500 I believe. Open till 3 am.

Brown Sugar: Open till 4 am. Lookers here. German owner. Reasonable prices. BF I believe is around 2200. One of the latest closing times outside of Fields.

Camelot: Went here twice. Hated it both times. Overpriced IMHO (3000 BF). Nice decorum though.

Midnight Cruiser (Formerly insomnia): Also open till 5 am. I personally did not like this bar. The late opening time translates into a place with layabouts, and a steep barfine of 3000 for mediocre looking girls. Got pestered for lady drink by the mamasan while talking to a girl on stage, at which point she sent the girl away when I said no. Big nono for me. The second time I came with a local that she knew and gave me free drinks. I shrug when it comes to this place. Up to you what you think.

Pony Tails: You can't miss the large neon lights. Another Dollhouse Group bar. Large central wooden stage. Some very good looking girls here. 2000 peso BF for non green tag, 3000 for those with green tags. Happy hour till 6 pm. Open till 1 or 2 am I think.

3) Perimeter.

Somewhat arbitrarily, I consider the bars after Ponytails to be distinct and refer to them as "Perimeter".

This clearly is the area favored by the locals as well as has the cheapest BFs and drinks in town. Furthermore, I think I preferred the atmosphere in these with people being more talkative and it being more of a friendly group environment in each. These bars tend to open from the early afternoon, coming hear early around 3 isn't a bad idea. Some people are of the opinion that they are hit or miss and are essentially all the same. I disagree.

Needless to say, the barfine drops the further you go along, except in some of the Korean bars scattered throughout.

I will mention those I visited and which ones stood out as before:

Showtime: Great bar and among my favorite in Angeles. Some great girls here and the staff are really nice, allowing for a fun environment. BF is 2000 here for a good and varied selection of girls when I was there. Drinks equally are reasonably priced. The only problem is that it closes early, around 11 pm I believe. So get here early in the evening.

Much further, past ABC, the number of bars just trickles: Eruptions (nothing special imo).

Gentleman's Club was good when I went there.

Emotions: Not bad, check it out.

Then nothing for quite a while. Usually to get to the next large strip, I take a trike (50 to 100 pesos upwards) or jeepney (7 pesos).

The strip starts when Don Juicio is intersected by Malabanas road. Just slightly down Malabanas:

Apink: A Korean bar, with a lot of pretty girls catering to their tasted. Slim and fair skinned. 2500 barfine, which is high for this part of town. I discovered this one by chance one night, and quite liked it. Stop in here for a peek.

Along Perimeter (Don Juicio), the next major strip of bars begins.

Night Moves: Good old fashioned bar. Nice owner. Cheap barfine of around 1800 or so, if I remember correctly.

XXX Bar (also called Cherry Blossom): A dinky place with some good looking girls. BF is 1800. A bit claustrophobic but this is nitpicking.

Blue Flame: Fantastic bar. German owner. Great looking girls. BF is 1800.

Open till 12 pm. One of the better ones which I recommend highly.

Det5: Good one with some lookers, however it was undergoing a restock when I was there. Check in as they rebuild their lineup. Beware a pretty ladydrink puller. 1600 BF.

Candy Bar: A nice quaint bar with perhaps a dozen girls (some decent looking but some of their prettier lineup may have been barfined early), reasonable prices. Not bad but not amongst my favorite.

There are a few more, but I skipped them and rather would point to the next side street before continuing on. To the left, there are two hidden niche bars, Rio and Nifties. Rio was nice enough with some motivated staff but no excellent lookers.

Nifties: Similar to Rio, a tiny place that you could easily miss. The particularity of this one is that it is a blowjob bar, with back rooms. I was offered a two girl BJ with guaranteed finish for 1300 pesos. Somewhere to go for a new experience I guess. Naturally, both Rio and Nifties barfine as well. Worth a look.

Ice Bar: Further along Perimeter, the next worthwhile mention is Ice Bar, probably named for its decently powered aircon. Two dozen girls work here I think, with some very good looking a good natured ones, (not to mention waitresses who can be BFd as well, I'm just getting my head around that here). Darker lights, good music, decently priced viagra for sale and frequented by the expats. Go here too. Open till 11 pm.

Babydolls: Upstairs to the left, a decent bar but I never saw any lookers here.

Firepit: Recently reopened after the last raid. Some have said the current lineup is inferior but I didn't find it too bad. Opens early, closes at 11 pm. BF is 1600, making it the cheapest I believe in Angeles. Happy hour till 5 pm with LDs of 100 pesos and cheaper drinks. Often full as a consequence. Come early but still pop in later if you're in the area. I liked it.

Avoided Mischief and Porky's (more of a restaurant). After firepit, many said this is the end, however further there are some more worth mentioning.

One just to the left of Savannah hotel whose name escapes me which wasn't bad, but for more quality, you have to go slightly further to the next strip near Clarkton hotel, the last major strip on Perimeter, largely frequented by Koreans and Japanese.

Girls Generation, Mirrors and After School are here. The ones I visited were:

Lipstick: A good one imo. Lots of pretty girls, Kpop blasting, a nice clean looking bar. BF 2200 pesos. Open 12 to 9 pm. Pricy given its distance, but one I liked.

Lost in Asia: Small place, dim lights and flashy colours. I didn't like the lineup but I think this is due to the Asian clientele arriving early and snapping up the best stock.

This ends perimeter to the best of my knowledge. Another area I did not visit was Koreatown, which is further away and less frequented by Western visitors.

As a recap, my favourite bars in town remain: Atlantis, Tropix, Route 69, Showtime, Blue Flame, Ice Bar, Fire Pit, Lipstick. High Society is an irreplacable nonbar venue in my opinion.

My tips for success would be to try and keep a positive exterior, be funny and talkative to the girls you first meet, buy drinks both in the bars and the nightclubs as an introduction. But I am fairly picky and will not pick a girl unless she shows at least some signs of interest or chemistry. I guess I would consider the LD as a sunk cost of evaluating the girl in vance. Locals however do not have this problem as they can establish connections and networks more easily.

Bad nights are possible here. A problem with Angeles to me is the early openings and a possible rush to get the decent girls before someone else does some days. Closer to Perimeter, you can get greedy low service providers who are used to the swinging door intake of tourists and don't really care. High Society can be hit or miss. I've been there and been rejected by girls who are just sitting there; pickily looking around, quite happy to go home with noone after sitting there for 5 to 6 hours "Up to them" (Up theirs more like).

Another option worth mentioning is social media: My Tinder and Blendr profiles were off the hook when I was there. There aren't too many ladyboys as in Thailand, and plenty of girls looking for customers via these apps. Probably more than I was able to answer. This way is not to be underestimated. I should post some screenshots.

My nights varied from sex without even trying to difficult nights (one Friday) where nothing seemed to go right, though I think I could have turned it around by trying something else or barfining earlier. As far as I am concerned the options for a good time are all there.

Must say I agree. Impossible to trust the pinay. I understand many are good girls, but I make the statement for several reasons:

1) Lying is cultural there.

2) Way too many "happily married" pinay end up "happily" in my bed.
