If you are willing to spend more money, there are plenty of eye candy at the high end establishments, such as the popular GoGo bars, like Sensations and Baccara. Unless you are that picky, in which case forget about Pattaya, and probably Thailand as well.

Yes I do sometimes give up hunting & resort to those high-priced go-gos; during normal season one can reliably find very attractive girls there, but not so during high season. Even in these extravagantly expensive places it seemed very picked-over.

Could you tell me what other destination worldwide that beats Pattaya, for sure it's not Angeles PH or Artemis Berlin.

I'm not saying there's a better place. I'm saying there is *no* place. We enter our dotage, gentlemen, as our enemies would say "god intended it" - without access to that most important of life's few comforts.

But as some have mentioned below, other parts of Thailand - even the unpleasant capital - may still offer some hope for those capable of major spending & arduous searching.

I'm guessing you don't have much experience in the Pattaya gogo clubs. I'd like to know where in Bangkok other than maybe Thermae bar and Rainbow in Nana you are finding hotter working girls than the top Pattaya gogo bars. Which gogo bars did you visit most recently in Pattaya and when?

I just stayed two nights on Soi Post Office. This is not the place to look for women.

Agree but there were 3 places in the Summer in the area. One was a young and cute girl at U-Turn cafe a few doors down from Post Office. The other place were Kiss Chill and JJ Karaoke on 3rd Road between LK President and Cherry's restaurant. On some nights, Kiss Chill would have the best lineup in Pattaya, competing with top gogo bars. Unfortunately, all 3 places have been shut down since around October/November.

I just stayed two nights on Soi Post Office. This is not the place to look for women. Plenty of ladyboys trying to vie for your attention and a horde of non-descript girls out front of the numerous massage parlors. Its a convenient place to stay, but not the block you would expect to find above average girls on.

That pretty much mirrors my 4 trips to Pattaya over the past couple of years, although my most notable hunt turned up about a half dozen girls from different bars around town, mostly Soi 6, who I thought attractive. All half dozen or more of them said no to an ordinary sexual request commonly agreed to in Bangkok and I did not take them. I have gone there because friends want to go. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. I used to much prefer Pattaya over Bangkok. But that was 20+ years ago.

One point some miss is that it isn't just a serious treasure hunt to find a girl worthy of engaging based on her looks. It is, as you alluded to, a matter of finding one who will go with you. And I will add a further hurdle; after you've found the looker that agrees to go with you, how godawful will she be in the room after all the effort. In my experience, that third one turns out to be the highest hurdle of all.

On my last trip it struck me that, not only are the vast majority of bargirls, go-go girls and freelancers in Pattaya virtually un-doable based on looks, even the regular girls working in the shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, going to and from their offices, etc. are way less attractive than their Bangkok counterparts. I think the pull and potential opportunities for the better looking (and better skilled, more accommodating) women of this part of Thailand to the Big Mango in the north is just too great to resist as soon as they can rustle up the 150 baht or so to take that 2-3 hour bus ride.

Isn't someone way better off grabbing 2 friends at Kinnaree, the main daytime option after Soi 6 imo? I'm assuming it's much cheaper than DD as well, not to mention girls being prettier as well.

Getting two girls to come together to your room is easy as pie.

But there is no guarantee they will play together well. And giving them directions all the time gets boring quickly.

Devil's Den or Eden Club in Bangkok at least have that well arranged for you.

Dolls had a really beautiful girl back in the summer. Haven't seen her for some time. Bad part about dolls is they are even more expensive than many walking street gogo bars. Advantage is you can have sex upstairs whereas only a handful of ws gogo bars have this option.

Thank you for reporting this. I often feel the same way, and start doubting my own sanity when I'm unable to find one attractive looking girl among several hundred on said sois. Back when I get back to Bangkok and take the BTS, I find that no, I have NOT actually turned into a zombie who considers 99.9% of the females unattractive.

Still, I only need one good gem (per day) to be happy, and Pattaya on occasion still unexpectedly delivers. Not in amazing looks, no, but in a girl who's friendly enough, offers good chemistry, GFE, and is just plain nice to be with for a few hours or a night. Not quite as in the old times, when it used to be way more frequent, but it still happens in Pattaya. Not in Bangkok anymore, and not in most other mongering destinations, where venues are not even set up to make this possible.

Well, it is geared towards mainstream tourists, so what did you expect? Its also no secret that the go-gos there are set up to extract as much money from you as possible, while not necessarily providing you with a real sexual experience. You seem to be looking for something that is not on the menu.

If you are looking to pull girls off the street, then why aren't you looking on Beach Road, which is geared towards tourists like yourself? I found the selection and quantity of girls there to be amazing. And affordable. If you adjust your expectations to a realistic level, then you might enjoy your visit more. Personally, I found WS to be more of a tourist trap, while there were other areas of Patts that were lots more fun. Just because WS has more bright lights and more noise, shouldn't make it your destination of choice.

Yes there can be days on soi 6 like that but I try again the next day or two and it may be pretty decent. Generally not great girls on yamato, soi 7 and 8 anyways. Have to be lucky on those soi.

Pattaya continues to decline in quality every year. The cheap hunting grounds of pattaya only have dregs on offer. One must enter the high priced gogos and fight for any decent quality nowadays. If you spend another 3-6 hours of hunting, you just might find a doable at a reasonable price that brings back that good memory of Pattaya that you have in your head. Good luck Opebo! LOS doesn't pack that same punch as it used to. You're not the only one feeling the withdrawals.

Can you please be more specific to which bars you walked in to? Hard to believe you went to gogo bars like Sensations and baccara and didn't see nice girls.

On any given night before midnight there will be 200 girls between the two bars.
