It's very often the wait staff will sometimes try take an extra 100 baht or so for themselves and not to mention that you'll look cheap in front of everyone if you don't tip.

You should tip the same amount as the girls do, most of them would never tip more than 40 baht. Giving more than that would make you look like a newbie in my opinion. And tipping the staff should not be automatic, it's good to tip the ones that are nice with you, but many of them are real a**holes and deserve nothing at all, especially in places like Insomnia or Mixx (Pattaya).

Normally guys are enquiring on behalf of a Thai girl who wants to run such a thing. For sure non Thai nationals cannot work without a permit. I have Thai bank accounts, but many Thai banks won't allow a Farang to open a bank account without having a work permit. For some reason Kasigorn (Thai Farmers) was an exception in the past, but probably not under the new Government rules.

I have a GF who once wanted to open a Home decoration shop in the Night bazaar located in Bang Na (Udom Suk). Buy in was quite steep (forget how much). Luckily I stopped the idea and that Night Bazaar location went bust some time later. She did not have the time available to run a business anyway.

100% true. In fact, if you are just there to hunt having a bottle works to your disadvantage as it lumits your freedom of movement and ties you down to one place. At least that has been my experience.

I'll play the Devils advocate and say that it's not quite 100%. I've just arrived to Pafter a run in Bangkok and Pattaya visiting insanity and insomnia respectively several times each. Yes to suss out the area walking around does certainly have its advantages no doubt and no arguments there. However IF you're in a group and not everyone is partnered up I'll prefer to get a bottle and staying put at a table. Several reasons. Firstly I can't honestly be bothered walking around stalking my / our prey, trying to seemingly enjoy the music and walking around in a packed club isn't that fun. Then ordering drinks when you have a hot thing in your arms, dancing, smoking then paying for drinks. It's very often the wait staff will sometimes try take an extra 100 baht or so for themselves and not to mention that you'll look cheap in front of everyone if you don't tip.

Also I've found that the ladies drink less if they drink from your bottle, they do however when they pour your drinks are sometimes a little heavy handed.

Also you can often get a lounge area easily if you buy a bottle too. Each to their own if it's a chic magnet or not but we didn't have much trouble with freelancers floating around plus I was in a group of heavy drinkers so it worked out much better for us financially.

Anyways, I also said it was at best a medium term (18 months into the future) thing I was " noodling ". Not for any financial return for myself. What you are saying is normal in regards to this situation Not having to make decision right away is too your advantage " noodling " time is on your side.

I just made a call to their sales office and was told based on location and size they start at 15,000 baht per month. But I believe you have to pay 1 year upfront. The range I was given was 15,000 - 30000 baht per month. I don't have it in writing just verbal. You have submit an application and describe your merchandise intended for sale etc.

Sorry if I am misunderstanding what you are saying but you are Asian and do not feel comfortable going to Farang dominated bars like those on Soi Full Love Inn? What about Soi 6 or iBar which are also Farang dominated?

I don't know if I am getting my FLI bars mixed up but 007 has private rooms upstairs and it's Club 4 which has the curtained rooms as you walk in. I haven't sessioned in all the FLI G-clubs but I assumed they all had private rooms upstairs. Am I wrong?

When it comes to Gentlemen clubs around town don't do much for me. Aside from one or two girls I've met never found any that really appeal to me that I would do it in house although they have rooms upstair. These places don't seem to have many customer unless there is some type of bar crawl although lately on the so call Soi Love Inn road there are a number cluster together making the Soi more popular. Whenever I go in there are few customers and the girls seem to gang tackle you too aggressive for my taste. Somehow, once I walk-in feel obligated to have a drink and sit awhile. A few times while waiting around I noticed one that I might want to take but stupidly can't get past she came out from doing another customer vision of a mouth full of cum doesn't do it for me. Stupid I know.

As for being Asian, I first got this feeling on the Darkside. I walk in and everything just stops the customers just stare which I can figure out they are thinking I'm BIB undercover. When they find out I'm not it is either too aggressive or it is really lonely being the only customer inside and the girl are butt ugly and I'm not too picky if I'm horny? In town, at places like Soi 6, been going on and off for a decade if not more? I'm not the type that like to sit outside and drink and watch if I drive or walk down and see something I like I usually go inside for the drink instead of sitting outside. Usually, I have a number of regular if I cruse down and see them I stop for a drink with them and usually upstairs. But I find Soi 6, my regular places are more relaxing not sure why?

I rarely venture to I-Bar, Insomia, 808, only when friends in town. Too old to play the game don't need the challenge my ego is intact comfortable as to who I am. I remember a while back I went to meet some friends from out of town I-Bar, they had a bottle drinking it up and they were sharing a table. There was this older lady who was a regular wouldn't give me the time of the day or night thought her shit didn't stink. After a while drinking the younger girls on the table wanted to party with me it was then the older one started to join in by then she would had to pay me. If and when I go there it is because I was invited otherwise it is on the bottom of my list. I go to W. S. LK Metro all GoGo's because I like to relax after dinner with a stiff drink, and blend in not be disturb and relax. When and if I BF, it is usually to a Thai local place to eat and drink first and that doesn't include Hollywood or Dilfer. Girls I BF, have no interest either in those places unless the customer request it. My Saturday night Fever days are long behind me. This one line I remember best girls telling me I-Bar etc, I dance for the customer at local places I dance for myself and it seems when they do the sex is always better when they feel at home.

In the end, I feel at home everywhere and with everyone but give me a choice like many of you have their routine down. I want to party first I go to GoGo, if I just want sex, it is Soi Honey and my private stash phone book which is small less headaches.
