Thanks for the map. I would have never have found 80% of these places if it wasn't for that map.

I tried to hit up a lot of places this is what I can remember off the top of my head without the map in front of me.

Campo: Mostly colombians. Some dominicans. Quality was ok, like I said I thought the quality was better outside. I think it was a bad time of year, I'm sure it gets better in certain times.

The bar near Campo. On the map it said 15 girls. I passed by a few times, it was closed once or twice the third time it was open but only a couple of cars in front, and I saw maybe 2 girls but that was it. Not sure if it's the day I visited.

Cuba Weg. Solid.

Wince Cafe and Bar next to it. The map says dominicans. I passed by maybe 3 or 4 times, both bars were always empty, the bar next door had two bartenders but they weren't dominican either, they were from Venezuela and not my type.

I passed by the bar between roodeweg and volks on a Friday, and it was packed. I saw some girls, but no parking. It seemed maybe a rough crowd, a lot of dominicans, people drinking outside their cars, I decided to leave this spot for later when I'm not solo.

I passed by Sokorro one night and it was closed. Maybe it's only open on weekends.

De Fles, I think is Des Flows? Anyway I stopped in one night, but they were having an event, they were playing live local Curacao music, and had a couple of table with older locals there. The place seemed nice, next to a good restaurant I would probably grab some food there someday. Seemed like a place I should check out again on a return visit, I think I just caught it on a bad night.

Went to the bar / restaurant near the yacht club. I did see two girls on a weeknight, but not my type so I just left.

Ramonsito Bar. Found it and liked it.

Emporium. Regular bar, but seemed like a good place. I went with company on weekday night, I would go back alone to check it out.

I have 1 more spot which I thought was really solid, lots of talent, willing to trade that info for some local intel on some other hidden gems. PM me if you have something.

There are taxis parked in front normally till early. Pay in guilders or dollars just remember 30 us is approx 50 ang. LE comes in every now and then for some soup and rarely do a walk around, not much to worry about there.

Regarding the girls, do it your way! Walk around get a look and feel of the place, remember the girls room number if they are in their rooms or hang around one of the bars or restaurant and enjoy the view. There are a few strip / dance shows a night in the main bar. Most important enjoy yourself and report back!

I didn't get to make it out there due to my colleagues wanting to hang non-stop and my uncertainty. But I will return in June / July and I'm not BSing! LOL. I will report on that mission. Thanks for that feedback, Robbie876.876 yawdie?

Quick update. I'll write up something more detailed if I have time. I passed through for the very first time. I rented a car and tried to find all the local bars going off of maps that had been posted previously. I couldn't find half of these places but the ones I did find were hit or miss, the ones that were a hit were a very good hit. Some of info on the maps is outdated. Some spots that were labeled as no-goes had more talent, and I think I found at least one new spot that's not on the map.

The quality outside of Campo is better, but that's only if you find the right bars, and have time to game the girls working in the bars. I only had a week, but managed to meet a couple of bar girls, but I needed more time. I didn't see a lot of tourist types in any of the bars. In two of the bars I did see a couple of Dutch customers twice but otherwise it's all locals so make sure you wing with someone or blend in. I blend in, speak Spanish and Portuguese, but I was still careful since I'm new to the area.

I hitCampo on my first day, and since the quality was better outside I only came back on the last day before my flight out and was with 2 girls at Campo before I hopped on the plane.

I'll be swinging back around hopefully for 2 weeks or maybe 1 month. I already have some local contacts that I can use on my next swing through.

Thanks for the update. Let me know what part of the map is not accurate according to you and will update if needed. Bthwy: the comments are just for advice but feel free to explore the bars for yourself especially the adventurous between us. In a couple of days days I will start uploading the pictures of the bars to the map as well so keep checking.

Taxi back and forth will be less, and easy from the airport. How much, I'm not sure.

I used a taxi when I was there a few years ago. It was $20 each way. That was the last time I used taxi there so not sure what it would be now. Hope that helps.

I have a few hour layover tomorrow morning and a rental car is about $50 which is a little expensive for a few hours.

I see on google earth it is only a mile or so.

Has anyone walked there before from the airport in the heat?

Does anyone know what a taxi there and back would be?

Is anyone there on Curacao who would go with me if I pay your entry fee for you driving?

What time are you arriving. Its a 20 min walk from the airport and if its a sunny day the tan is free!. Taxi probably is going to try 15-20 us from you which is a ripoff. Ill p. M you somebody.

I have been to Campo several times over the last 3 years and I have to admit the quality is going down. I mostly fly solo when I go down. Is there a bar that is somewhat safe to meet Venezuelan woman. Headed down in a few days and wanted to check it out.

As I understand it, the problem is at the Venezuelan end. In his time, El Comandante Chavez barred the Venezolanas from besmirching the good name of the Bolivarian Republic and the fine reputation of "socialism of the 21st century" by prostituting themselves abroad. Apparently, this ban has never been lifted. Therefore, it would be impossible to recruit girls in Venezuela, process work permits for them, and have them legally receive visas at the Dutch embassy, like in Colombia or the Dominican Republic. Besides, there are logistical difficulties (how about sending US $300 to Campo from Venezuela? Campo will not move on anything unless the chica coughs up this amount first).

No wonder many Venezolanas go to the border areas of Colombia and purchase fake Colombian papers there. Venezolanas who pass themselves for Colombianas are in Campo already. Example: I encounter a girl who says she is from Bucaramanga, a city in Colombia which I know fairly well. When I ask more questions it turns out that she does not know shit about Bucaramanga or Colombia in general. Another fake Colombians. What a contrast with the 1990's when Colombianas purchased Venezuelan papers to work in Europe etc.

As a footnote, I will mention that around 2002-2006 there were some overt Venezuelans in Campo. They were dropped for attitude and discipline problems, the experiment failed.

You seem to know a lot bro. This is exactly what I have been told by the current admin when I query him about the Venezuelans. The problem is not with the local government but with Venezuela officials they don't want their women to post themselves as hookers. As of the experiment I remember that as well, I myself had one during that period. They indeed had problem with attitude back then. Nowadays I don't sense that much, maybe their current situation forced them to be humble? Anyways it would have been ideal to be able to have them as well within the camp.
