Well Thermae is not the best case to draw conclusions from. Many girls won't even look at Farang there. If you got rejected its because you were Farang not because you were young.

I have a question I haven't seen so I thought I would ask away. I am staying in Bangkok for the majority of my stay (Dynasty Grande) but I am thinking of going to Pattaya for a weekend. My question is the following: should I check out of the Dynasty when I go to Pattaya or just reserve my room for the full duration of my stay and take a small bag with me down to Pattaya.

If you can get the same rate and don't mind packing / unpacking; check out of the Dynasty Grande and have the bell desk keep your major luggage. Advise them of your return date and a small tip should take care of it.

Hey Uncle I think you might have missed the irony in Dwayne's response.

May I add from own experience: Malls & 7 Eleven's girls. Especially at malls, keep your eyes open. So many girls try to flirt but you usually do have to make the first step in 75% of cases as they tend to be shy to approach themselves. But there's lot of potential if you are young and white and walking around alone sit down somewhere in the middle of the mall and you pretty soon will make contact with people.
