Thanks for the hint. I have been close to Hongqijie recently but my date did canceled suddenly. However, I remembered reading about shops close by and went around to take a look. I think I was in Hongqijie west 4, but I just saw you mentioned 3. Maybe I was wrong? Only very few shops there, though, but I decided to give it a try. I approached one of the shops and the woman winked me inside. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact house as it was dark already and freezing cold, so I was in a rush to get inside. There have been two girls present and one directly took me to the back. She was a bit older, but nice looking so I was fine with her. We agreed on 300 for FS. The service was not too enthusiastic. On NanHu DaLu, coming from the NanHu Park towards west, you pass the Huadian Street (left side) and directly after that on the right side the windows start. It's not every building. There are some normal shops in between. You will recognize them by woman in short dresses sitting in the windows. You can approach them quite easily. Just walk towards them and enter.

A couple of days ago while stuck in a traffic jam on Nanhu Road, I recognized some doors / windows with sexy dressed girls. I was not too close, so I am not sure, but they looked suspicious, if you know what I mean. If I have some time and am close there again I will take a closer look and maybe give it a try, though I don't fancy those shops. If you move west on Nanhu Road, look on the right side between Huadian Street and Hunjiang Street. A little bit further west on the same side is that Century Business Club, whatever that it is. Just for orientation.

Can you point a location on the map or something? How can you exactly recognize these shops and how to approach them?

You can get FS for that price in several smaller massage shops. I went to Nanhu Road a couple of times recently. However there are more around Changchun as mentioned earlier by our friends here.

An hour in a decent Spa would probably cause more damage. I haven't tried much of them in Changchun. The only one I tried once was much more expensive and not worth the money (see my post for San Drafl earlier). But there are more to try. 1500 seems not to be a bargain but not a rip off either.

Anyone with other experiences in bigger spas?

If you want some FS action with massage, try the Nanhu Road houses as already described previously on this forum. For 200 to 300 RMB, you'll enjoy it for sure.

New to CC, I'm looking for a spa-like setting with FS and decided to check out the Shengyang Street / Hao Yue Rd area mentioned in several posts here, but when I got there it's like I'm in an alternate universe. Shengyang street is a ghost town, there's a bath house under construction on the corner of Hao Yue road but it doesn't look open. There's a big spa just east of the highway, he Tang Yue Se spa, they didn't have a lineup of girls to choose from, just one girl came in and told me it's 1200 for FS and 200-300 for a regular massage, which as far as I can tell doesn't include any "adult" services. WTF is going on here, am I crazy for expecting 300-500 for an hour at a spa with FS which is what I figured the damage would be from the posts here? I got out of there ASAP but not before they charged me 15 RMB for a bottle of water. There's also a big foot massage shop east of there but I didn't bother going in to ask.

I'm going to try Andajie next, and Chongwen road if no luck there, but it sounds like Chongwen is full of the dingy "massage" places that try to upsell and then rush you out. Any advice on where to look for a decent experience without ripoff prices?

It happened that I was close to Nanhu Road again an evening a couple of days ago. I walked along the shops and chose, I think, the third one while walking towards east direction. A bit older girl (probably around 30) led me to the back room. After a short not too good but fine massage, she turned me over and started playing with my friend. If you along Nanhu Road from East to West some 300 to 400 meters from Nanhu Square, there are some shops on the right. I went there during the day at around noon on a Sunday. I just entered a shop. A lady came and asked what I want 200 or 300 RMB. I said 200 RMB as did not know what was on offer. Another lady in her late 30's came. She closed the door and undressed.
