Posts: 7I just can warn you from Table Dance Bars in Croatia ! They all seem to work in the same matter.
It happened to us that we visited the GO-GA Bar in Zadar, which is ruled by the same company as the mentioned Pasha. And they have some more clubs as i know now.
It is exactly that way like Mike described it already:
Me and some friends where slightly drunk and didn`t realize what was going on until we got the bill after 2 hours: It was about 28.000 Kuna which is about 4.000 Euro !!! For that amount we had 5 bottles of champaign and other stuff. I think you can imagine how this night ended. After another 2 hours of discussing the guys from the club wanted to beat the shit out of us and they wont let us leave. We had no money so two of them went to our appartment and stayed with us until the bank opened the next day so we could get some money.
I can tell you this was an experience i dont whish anybody, so please stay out of these kind of clubs!

Mike,
I just happened to look at the Croatia reports and saw yours. I have only been in Croatia once and did not see any hobby opportunities for me. Thanks for the report on Pasha. Glad I skipped it.

Diet Coke, Wolfy (and all others),
P4p existed in Split until about 10-12 years ago, however this happened in areas where most of us would never go to because it was a scene of pimps, abused women, gypsies and other not-so-nice business. Today this has all disappeared but Split is now covered with plenty of night clubs though p4p is still a hassle. So read on.
On my question where to have fun with girls, locals directed me to night club Pasha. So for the sake of this forum I decided to spend a few $$ and do some mystery shopping at Pasha.
Pasha probably has to compete with the night club scene in Split and therefore does a lot of advertising. Walls, trees, waste bins, everything is literally covered with their advertisements, so you cannot miss them. They also have a few vans which they use to pick up customers and bring them to the club. This is a free service. You have to be a little comfortable though to be picked up and driven in a van with lots of “nightclub Pasha” advertisements on it. During my stay in Croatia I saw them virtually every day.
Pasha is located about 3 km north from Trogir. If you drive from the city centre of Trogir in Northern the direction to Primosten/Sibenik you will find after about 3 km a small hand-painted yellow-on-black wooden sign just before T-junction, pointing to left side. The most recognizable landmark is a big sign with “Hotel Medea”, an old Soviet-style hotel that was built in the sixties to host workers who received their free holiday from the communist party. There you should turn in left. The important thing is to keep right after you entered, drive a little uphill and after about 100 meters you will find Pasha on your left hand side. The entrance is a steep brick stairway downstairs where two or three gorillas will give you a polite welcome.
At 22:00 the place was completely empty but I took a seat anyway. The girls were dancing without spirit for that one spectator (me) but who cares. Every girl does a dance, shows her tits during the last 10 seconds and then leaves the stage as quickly as possible. So there’s not much to enjoy. After about 10 minutes a girl joined me and 30 seconds later the servant came by and asked us what we wanted to drink. I asked for the options. He suggested a bottle of champagne. After some questioning, it turned out that it costs 4000 kunas ($650). So be careful as the servant sometimes intends not to hear you and before you know it you sit with a girl and a $$$$$ champagne bottle. The three gorillas outside will make sure that you pay the bill before you leave. So I asked for something reasonably priced. Their price list is printed orange text on black background using inkjet technology of the mid 90’s and could not even be read by the excellent eyes of my 19 year old companion in this dim light. The standard lady drink for a girl is – guess what – a “piccolo”, and costs 245 kunas ($40).
Anyway, Croatia is not rich and the girls who work there come from countries like Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, and Ukraine. Touching is not allowed during a lap dance and the girls don’t show pussy. I chat with one girl for about an hour and after two piccolos she became a little drunk and asked me whether I wanted to have a private lap dance where touching was allowed. I wasn’t interested in paying 600 kunas for a lap dance where still only little was possible. Then she lost interest and left.
P4p is no option at all in the club. There are some rumors however that a girl occasionally invites a client at home when she likes him. But you have to wait until the club closes (after 5 AM) and even then there’s nothing to be sure about. She told me that p4p is still possible in Croatia but illegal. It’s there, but it’s buried deep in society and you will need to get local help as these girls don’t advertise.
So after about one hour I paid the bill of 900 kunas ($150) and left the club. For 900 kunas I had two drinks and a small chat. I guess other night clubs in the Split area provide the same level of service, i.e. relatively expensive and only lap dances.
Pasha Prices:
- Entry: 100 ($17)
- Soft drink: 75 ($13)
- Cocktail: 245 ($41)
- Lap dance (1 song, 3 minutes, no touching): 445 ($74)
- Private lap dance (10 minutes, 3 songs, touching allowed): 600 ($100)
- Champagne: 4000 ($667)
BTW, Split has a shortage of schools buildings, so the students go in two shifts. One in the morning/afternoon and one in the afternoon/evening. So don’t be surprised to see a group of teenage hotties trotting through the city center at 8 PM. Nice eye candy though, and worth a visit.

Is it no action in Split at all? In the future I will be travelling to Split several times alone because of my job, so if anyone got some information on the scene in Split or Trogir area please let me know. I doubt it, but if there are some action on the island Brac please post info on that too. It's only a short boattrip from Split. I will have my own appartment in Trogir so no hotels or anything will be needed.

Posts: 73Kind of curious myself on any updates. I have been here a week and while I haven't looked very hard (as I still go to Sarajevo on the weekends and free backpacking tourists are easy to pick up here. They are hungary and cheap, provide them dinner and place to crash and they will be yours the entire time you are here), its still been a year since the last update. Has Croatia became too EU'ish?

Posts: 23I am going to visit Croatia in early August this year. I'll stay on an island called Brac, it is also close to Split. Have anybody been there before, and where can I find some action? Escorts, clubs etc.
Thanx, Wolfy

I'm really itching to visit Croatia this summer. I already have a few trips planned though so it may have to wait. It looks like a beautiful place. I'm not sure about the pro scene but there might be enough non-pros to keep me busy. Hopefully we read more information the next few months on this untapped gem.

Posts: 256A large percentage...? No, but there's a growing segment in their population who are trying to learn the language, mostly the younger generation. I was there on work-related stuff and had to hire professional interpreters for what I have to do.
It's not as bad as some non-English speaking countries. You can get by if you resort to simple conversations, but anything more complex than that, interpreters will be a must.
Obviously, the folks who work in the tourism industry normally will have a better command of english, but my advice to you is to keep it simple.

Did a large percentage of the local non-pros speak English? I'm chatting with a girl online that speaks/writes excellent English. She told me more and more girls are learning English or learned in school. Did you find that to be the case? Thanks.
