Thanks, yes, you are not mistaken, I went all over the forum since I'm not that new to it. But I couldn't find this piece of info, all about sex clubs and massages. Agreed. I find Jakarta to be one of the safest cities in the world as far as theft. The chances of getting robbed or pick pocketed in Jakarta anywhere other than on the busway are minimal. However, it's always prudent to avoid flashing expensive jewelry or cash anywhere in the world.

As far as walking, I don't see the sense in walking the streets in that shitty area because it's simply uncomfortable to walk there given the shit streets and unorganized traffic. I would prefer not to walk from Lokasari to Travel because it's dirt cheap to take a taxi even though it's close enough to walk. I personally would not walk anywhere in that shitty area unless the traffic was complete gridlock where walking was my only alternative. If people want to walk in Jakarta, they can go to the Epicentrium mall area. There are actually decent walkways in that area.

Next best alternative to going to Russia to find quality Russian girls is going to Brix Bar at the Singapore Hyatt.

Or how about Western Europe? Its full of Russian hookers who work at a discount to the local girls, and you don't need to go through the hoops of getting a Russian visa and other hassles I can only imagine. Last time I was in Ukraine, it was also a big hassle / hustle and I doubt that has changed much. I arrived in Jakarta yesterday afternoon. After resting up and grabbing some dinner I headed over to CJ's around 10:30. Selected Grey Goose on the rocks (200,000) for my compulsory entry drink. My first reaction upon entering was OMG its the same cover band as last year. LOL. 2nd reaction was there are plenty of customers (good), a lot of sausages (bad), but ample supply of attractive, friendly FL's (good). I basically walked around the joint with my vodka on the rocks and either sat or stood in various locals to observe the girls in each local. Many girls (more than 5) directly hit on me, many others just demurely smiled as I walked by or looked their way. Really? I don't know one place in Indonesia that compares to any of the good soapies in Thailand. Soapies are not something to come to Jakarta for. If you want soapies, stick with Thailand.
