    Lufthansa flight

After flying with Emirates and Turkish airlines, this coming June I booked a reasonable price of €580 flight to BKK from my country via Frankfurt. Has anyone tried them before? For sure will keep some stylnox handy as its a strait 10 hour!

    Cheers.

    General info required

It's been about 3 years since I last visited BKK, any info regarding CIS, good clubs, and if the bkk scene has changed in any way, also any TIPS on mongering would be appreciated. I have been searching on the site, but not picking up much. Has BKK died down a bit.

I do like the CIS more, but not the crowd from Grace area, used to visit CM2, before, heard its closed down.

IS MIXX, BKK still the same, has anything changed, any info and help would be appreciated. Current prices, LT, ST has the quality of the woman dropped.

    Thanks.

I fly Elite class, which I think is worth the doubling of price. Only downside is the seats are over the wing so if you like to look out the windows, your view will either be totally blocked or mostly blocked. I usually sit in the middle aisle seat (slight odds you won't have anyone sitting next to you there, with 100% odds of having someone next to you in the window sides) for the LAX / TPI portion of the trip, then switch to a window seat with a view for the 4 HR flight between BKK and TPI. The electrical boxes at the bottom of the seats in front of you can mess with leg room a bit, but better than being stuck in cattle class. After my next trip over, my mileage should be such that I can get a free upgrade to First Class next time. I have no experience with other airlines, so I have no comparisons.

And as was said, the flight attendants are generally young and attractive, and mostly Chinese, with EVA. I have never tried engaging one in conversation, but while friendly, they seem to be professional so would be a little surprised if they will go home with you. Regardless, I am too old and not rich enough to be of any interest to them.
Because of a promo at China Air of $589.00 RT LOS Angeles / BKK. I couldn't get a seat on the Taipei / BKK leg. Sold out full not even a waitlist. I can get to Taipei from Honolulu, so my lady at China Air Honolulu booked me to HCMC, and I got a connection on Jet star from HCMC to BKK a couple of hours later. She said that they even put a Jumbo 747 on the Taipei BKK route and it filled up fast. Anyway I'll be there on Wednesday and visit the BIG products expo to write off the trip. Timing is everything.

FL, use a site like Seat Guru before you book your seat. Look up the airline and the type and version of plane for your flight. Tells you things like where those electrical boxes are.

You got my attention when you said Business Class is only double of Economy on Eva Air. From where I am from it's over 3x more expensive. Too bad. Double I would do assuming it's a lay flat seat.

Many working girls back in the villages and provinces now.

Generally they will return for duty no later than the 18th.

Excellent advice from Syzygies regarding waterproofing. I personally avoid the built up areas during this time. TIP: ensure the liquid that is thrown towards you IS water.

Yes; it was recently carved out of the Nana Hotel parking structure below the swimming pool. Strikers moved in when their Rajah parking lot location was slated for redevelopment.

The NH management seems keen to further monetize the property location ala adding Hooters as tenants, and having the big neon sign facing the Suk soi 4 intersection. Good news really: if they have increased tenant incomes they are less likely to do something stupid like gentrifying the property by putting up expensive condos, or building more useless retail space.

Which is likely the reason that it is for sale. I liked them when they were in the parking lot of the Rajah Hotel and I would drink, play pool and occasionally take out from there. After they moved it seemed like the whole vibe changed as did much of the staff. No fun even for former fans like me. The other buzz going around is just how much the rent increases are on Soi 4. The landlords have been (unintentionally?) forcing businesses to close with their greed.

Knock on wood, CX has always taken care of me. Had been diverted a several times because of weather and everyone got put up. They just loaded the same plane and crew the next day. The higher up the food chain you are with them, the better the service. Had good resolutions with BA and LH in and outbound. I don't know your specific situation, but I would much rather have flight delay problems in Asia. I usually get put up for free. 3 months ago, I was getting put up by UA because of a mechanical problem and I heard the supervisor tell the staff to stop issuing vouchers. Not sure what happened to the sods behind me traveling on their own dime.

Its the first time I tried that flight, and coming from a 50 minute delayed departure at London (not uncommon these days), the transfer time of 45 minutes was obviously a problem. Anyway Qatar airways looked after the 13 of us pretty well, and offered choice of the same flight following day, or Manila and bus transfer 7 hours later same day. So we took that, and finally arrived at Clark 12 hours late. I had cancelled my airport pick up to Queens Hotel, but was able to get a drop off, as the "bus transfer" from Manila turned into a fleet of 7 seater taxis with 3 - 4 in each.!

Actually several reasons my Soapy attendance dropped right off:

    1. Lack of a body slide at many venues was just one.

    2. Dominance of artificial surgery looks especially bad nose jobs. Girls that used to be pretty, wrecking themselves with completely unnecessary nose jobs.

    3. So many dick scared girls used to fucking Thai men.

    4. Effort to travel to the venue for clubs not near the MRT.

    5. Other political reasons like girls too closely managed by agents in some venues. Yes I know bargirls have pimps/BFs too.
