Visited Bernds last month and had a fairly good experience.

As many members have described, it is a small place and quite intimate. I am used to larger FKK clubs like sharks and Oase and this was surprisingly small.

I had planned a weekday free in order to finally use my free entry for Bernds that I got from an earlier visit during my birthday week. I was hoping that they had recruited some new talent but still had their free-wheeling, sex-in-the-open vibe. I was disappointed.

Connie almost didn't let me use my coupon, saying it had been a long time since I had received it. There was no expiration date on the coupon--it clearly stated (in German) "until used" and so I was prepared to argue my case, or just bail for greener pastures, but in the end she acquiesced and let me in. I saw familiar faces and some new ones, but the new ones were in no way hot young things like in years past but older or less attractive girls.

For example, I remember visiting when current star Maria was just 5 days at the club, and she was not the best looking of the new crop of girls at Bernds that day. Back then, when Maria was more girl next door in looks, and the hotter girls Elena, who looked like Czech pornstar Nelly, and quasi-Italiana Bettina were just trying out the club, I hoped the lineup would in time turn more toward girls like them. But based on what I saw it was going in the other direction. In the main room was plain Jane Carmen, latina MILF Simona, and whale Dora, along with Angie, who as many of you know is quite zaftig.

For a themed Friday the club was not very busy with patrons. I saw at least one other guy use his free birthday coupon--maybe we all know that when the new no-BBBJ law comes into effect this summer a lot of the appeal of Bernds (BBBJ couch starts, free CIM) is going to go away.

Book train tickets to Hennef (Sieg) in the internet today. Tomorrow the price will be higher both online and even higher at the station. Morning trains there will be via Cologne. And the S12 train from Cologne to Hennef leaves every 20 minutes. If you plan to return very late there will be a very fast ICE train back reaching Frankfurt at midnight via Siegburg (Bonn).

From Hennef, you have 2 choices:

1. Take a bus (very cheap) that leaves every 30 minutes at the bus terminal adjoining the train station. Stop at Lichtenberg Ost. Then a 5 minutes walk past Hotel Reuter and turn into Schieferhof. Easy to find your way if you study the map beforehand.

2. Take a taxi. About 15 euros. Some taxi drivers have not heard of Bernd's so you must give them the Schieferhof address.
