    There goes this thread!

I think I just threw up, funny how you can't find too many people that admit to voting for the current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. It's better just to let it go. If not this thread will never be the same.

LOL So there's no explaining why so many of us are appalled by him. I have a Norwegian friend with a bar in Thailand who does not like to have German customers as they are "loud and rude" according to him.

It is also closer than Europe and, therefore, they probably meet more native English-speaking customers from Australia year 'round than from anywhere else. As a matter of fact, I think I meet more fluent English-speaking fellow punters from Australia than from either USA or U. K. Therefore, their chances of flattering me by saying the country they think I am from even if I have told them "California" when they ask, "Where you from?" is greater if they just say the country they hear the most from other punters. Probably.
The logic is based on the idea that girls will tell you bullshit every time, even if the reasons to do so are very weak. I have met many Thai girl who largely stay away from bullshit. Actually did not meet many at all that said they prefer my country. It just wasn't needed to try to flatter me. The only flattery I hear regularly is the "anaconda" one, of course, since the word is the same in every language. I have never been told Godzilla, so I guess I have to go away and weep. I guess it's not mammoth after all.

My GF indirectly flattered me by rescinding the "muu uan" (fat piggy) that she originally used to call me, after I lost quite a few kilos. So really Thai girl flattery does not go that far. Many just don't bother with such bullshit. When I pay Thai girls a compliment, they seem to say "paak waan" as if it is also bullshit, and I have to assure them that I only ever pay very honest compliments from the heart. I am not going to tell a girl I love her cute nose, when it's actually a surgeon's cock up. If I get a girl with big silicones, I am not going to say I love her tits "too much, too much".

Someone pointed out I used this word "too much" too often. It comes from a silly playful Thai song, popular with young teens, that goes like "Missing you so much, too much, very much" (yes it was actually in strange English). So I probably got influenced.

I have never managed to evidence of my GF telling me a lie. She must use it very sparingly indeed. She is smart that for any questions she does not like, for one reason or another, she just does not answer. You can suspect the true answer, but never be certain at all. I don't like to believe anything rigidly if I don't see the evidence though.

Girls usually ask how long does it take to fly to your country, and usually seem surprised by how long it is.

Actually Americans, are on average much more polite than from most other Farang countries, at least the classier ones that I am likely to meet. Agreed that the low class Americans are less likely to be here. Americans can be surprisingly loud in public places like in a BTS carriage, as though wanting the whole carriage to hear what they are saying. I can't take very loud continuous southern drawl for long periods. LOL On a long train ride in England recently one passenger was annoyingly loud and he was maybe English.

Bogan is a relatively recent slang word (maybe from 30 years ago), popular with the young people, so not used much among the older generation unless they picked it up from their kids or the appropriate TV shows. Yobo is definitely the old fashioned word. It is best not too use too much local slang on this forum since not understood by all countries. Was amazing to me that "lucked out" actually meant "in luck" to Americans, and means quite the reverse in some other countries. Quite often I read little colloquial things or abbreviations in posts that mean little to me. Just other day I was too lazy to even try to look up what an AMP was.

A useful site to explain "Aussie" slang:
    http://andc.anu.edu.au/australian-wo...anings-origins

I did not find any useful sites for American slang, since in most sites, all the terms explained were just the very well known internationally, and widely used on TV terms. Urban Dictionary seems to be the general place to go, or Internet Slang.

Among Farangs, I think Scandinavians should be the most popular, just there aren't so many of them. Not so much Germans.

I thought Bogan was the slang word for an Aussie redneck. I know in Bali they think of Aussies as the ones who cause all the trouble being rude, getting drunk and loud.

However, don't kid yourself, many Americans are also loud and rude. It's just that most of those type of Americans don't usually have the cash to fly all the way around the world for fun.

As an experienced punter one would know that bargirls will always say what you love to hear. And in bargirl language 101 the first lesson is.

"loud, gregarious, buys lots of drinks = jai dee = stupid".

    No particular offence to Aussies.

I don't care where they think I'm from as long as they don't profile me as someone they don't want to give good service to.

Actually to be true. I agree with that when $$ is on their minds they will look at you and try to judge where you're from and then say what country they think you are from.

Because I am a Caucasian English speaking man who dresses slightly better than the average Aussie "yobo" (slang for slob) and is not as loud as most Aussies then they usually peg me for an American.

But that being said it doesn't take them too long to tell you which part of the world they definitely don't like (talking about my experience in SEA here).
    The answer must be India.

Nah they f*ck the best so they tell me.

But the girls mention that nationality more than any other I ever hear. Bear in mind, they wouldn't likely have a clue that Australia is not "USA" or "UK" or "The Moon" for that matter. I tell them I am from California and they are as likely to say "oh, from England?" as "oh, from Australia?"

Possibly she went for much younger guys. I also liked particularly skinny Ning from the Cabaret show (the bowler hat routine for example). I never tried the very long time famous blondie girl. She was a bit wild (possibly on drugs).
I believe I tried all the best girls at Long Gun in the mid 2000s. I used to go almost every night and was close with one of the mamasans so she hooked me up with all the popular girls. Sadly, I can't remember any of their names. I do have photos of most of them though. The wild looking blond girl was actually a nice girl. Fun in bed and willing to please. Her hair reminded me of Woodstock's hair, Snoopy's bird friend. One girl I do remember her name was Joy, I consider her the best girl ever at Long Gun. She worked there around 2002 and was the star of the sexy show where they come smashing down with the boots and cowboy hats. What a total stunner. I wish I could remember the names of the two extremely tall sisters who worked there in the mid 2000's. Those girls were hot. But Joy was much better. To this day, I try to make it a point to take any and every girl they have in that one show with the boots and cowboy hats at least once. It's a long standing tradition since 2001, haha. Rawhide has the same show and actually had one stunner in that show the last time I was in there. I don't like that they changed the music. Starting out with Burning Alive by AC / DC and finishing up with Hey Jude by Warren Hill just seems so perfect.
