Just curious if anyone else noticed that you cannot access Bangkok's Backpage escort section or any section for that matter. All links from a quick Google search go straight to the US version of the main page where you select the state you are interested in. I am currently in the states so maybe it is accessible in Thailand. Maybe not. The last time I could access was maybe 2 days ago. Not a deal-breaker but just curious what happened and where these ads will migrate to besides CL.

Same applies to singapore and hongkong backpages and probably others.

I tested it by using VPN servers located in the US and in other less restrictive countries.

No problem if the server is located in Canada or Europe.

Most of bargirl standard questions are not actually flattery. If she asks where you come from 2 or 3 times, you know she is not even listening to the answer. Just pretending to make conversation. I never hear "you handsome man" shit in the modern day except from perhaps old mamasans. Also hardly ever hear a girl say she particularly likes guys from my Country, not even in Thai language. It is not a subject that would occur to her if she was trying to think of some flattery. Just maybe there are a few girls that have had good experiences with guys from my country. If I ask a bargirl I have known a long time, which nationalities she likes, I actually expect an honest answer, in a fair proportion of cases. If I just met her, I would not be asking. Girls get used to the idea that I am a guy who doesn't need flattery. They are willing to fuck me and have fun with me. That is all that matters. If a girl started sucking up to me, I would soon tell her to stop that rubbish.

I think my key point is, if you think the girl will need to make up a bullshit answer to a question, then the question should not be asked. You make small talk, where you think the girl will probably give an honest answer in a large percentage of cases, otherwise it's pointless, unless you already know the answer and want to test her honestly, like do you have silicones?, when she obviously has them, or does she have a nose job.

I would think the line of questioning that virtually begs a bargirl to bullshit you is when the topic moves into things like, "Do you ever get ripped off by customers?" or "What kind of behavior in a customer really annoys you?" Imo, this would likely invite tall tales filled with self-serving, even Face-saving nonsense designed to encourage any customer willing to listen to give her more money while being a good boy and not asking her to do very much to earn it.
