Rio de Janeiro Reports

Went to 4 x4 last night. Not sure I'm going to add anything new to the board but perhaps it may be useful to post a summary for any newbies planning a trip:

1) Used metro from Copa to Uruguaiana. I think this is the quickest / easiest way to Centro and there are metro stops close to all centres of action (Largo do Machado, Carioca, Uruguaiana). Ticket price is 4. 30 RS. Best thing is to buy a pre-pago metrorio card for 5. 00 RS and load it up for use. You need to buy from the ticket booth (minimum charge is 5 RS) but after that you can recharge at the many machines and avoid waiting in line for tickets. Choose the right barrier to go through. Use the ones signed for metrocard. There are barriers for Riocards as well (a different travel card).

2) I haven't been here since 2015 so the tram lines on Rio Branco were a surprise. As was the advertising sign for 4 x4 on the street sign for Rua Buenos Aires on Rio Branco!

3) as you come out of the metro on Rua Miguel Couto, take any of the roads leading off it and you will have options (prives, termas) on these streets. Alfandega, Buenos Aires, Rosario and Ouvidor. After the barrier, if you walk straight ahead you will come to Rua Miguel Couto and the Rio Branco options, if you turn left you will come out on Av. Presidente Vargas and can cross over to the 'dark side' options.

4) arrived at 4 x4 at 5 pm. Was fairly quiet and was a lot livelier when I was leaving at 7 pm. Seems to be pretty much the same as it was on my last visit in 2015. Yesterday afternoon there seemed to be little variety in body shape. Mainly fairly thin girls with round (but not huge) asses and smallish natural tits, it that is your thing. When I left at 7 pm there was a bit more variety with a few 'horse asses' (as I believe Sperto likes to call them) and few chubby types. I didn't see any huge-titted girls (natural or silicone). I guess I've been spoiled with big naturals in Sao Paulo. I have never gone to the Wiskeria downstairs but everything was happening in the main boate. With the back boate (along the corridor past the changing rooms and up the stairs) pretty dead.

Seems business as usual at 4 x4 but a little quieter than it was 2010-2015.

The last year I have visited Rio 4 x for 3-4 days trips and I had not been there in 6 years. Rio is NOT the same place as it was during the good ole "Help Days" before it closed but a good time can still be had there you just have to know what you are doing / have a game plan. Copacabana is dead when it comes to the availability of free lancers in the day time they are no where to be found from my observations compared to back in the days. For the afternoon I suggest visit the Termas in Copacabana and Centro also hit up the office buildings but you have to put in leg work. This is one big negative I have of Copa now is that it is dead during the night time in my opinion especially at Mabs where the talent is horrible in my opinion. The best talent in Rio is in the Termas and always has been where you can find 8-10's who go all out and fuck your brains out. I need to try the escort scene out there but my only negative about using escorts is that I'm the type of monger who likes to interview my prey before I session with and feel them out. Now Rio at it's present state all you need is 4 days max if you plan to go hard in my opinion and that's with doing the Termas.

Manhattan is OK but I prefer Cancun over Manhattan, there is a better atmosphere, they tried to charge me 10 per cent because I am gringo, I did not pay 10 per cent maybe they thought I can't read. On the paper, it is written nao cobramos 10% that means we don't charge 10 per cent.

They are many brancas but not slimmer, but it is not easy to find, Rio really changed, it is worse than my last trip 4 months ago. Sao Paulo is better, I plan to go back there in few weeks.

In Cancun there is a slim white girl, some trash clubs also, but it is very difficult to find, I've never seen any white girl from the south in Rio. I went to many termas. Natural blond, red or light brown hair with colored eyes and beautiful features. Most of the white girls in Rio I can say they are Brazilian or Latin. In Sao Paulo there are some girls you can't believe they are Brazilian. I checked the pictures as I said you can find some slim white women but it is not easy.

Thanks for the advice on the Universal Cambio in Copa, I got a good rate at 4. 7% higher than the internet rate and meant that I didn't have to travel to / from Centro carrying large amounts of cash. Not been in Rio since 2015 so it is good to be back. Work activities mean that visits to prives this time will be unlikely and evening runs to termas will be the modus operandi this time. Will try to do a tour of the Centro prives.

Just beware of some unknown prives, just go to the known ones that have been listed on the forum. Don't go to centro in the morning, there is nothing, better to go from 2-3 pm. Better to hit termas from 5 pm.

I hope I don't get myself in trouble here, but it seemed Hoe Beach had mostly mulattas and morenas perhaps from the favelas. If I met a European-looking termas girl, she might meet me at Ipanema Beach, but never, never Posto 5. Many girls thought there was a stigma hanging out there with gringoes. I would add one other reason that others have noted. Programa girls don't want to be photographed sitting on the beach with gringoes. Many of these photos and videos wound up on the internet. I've taken photos in the termas cabins with permission. I presume if you pulled out a phone to take a photo in the termas main floor, you would lose your phone and maybe get your ass beat.

This is very strange and very concerning. There were always plenty of brancas from Rio and the suburbs in the top termas. There were also a few from Minas Gerais, the South and elsewhere. I never went into a terma with a type of girl in mind, but it was nice to know there would be a lot of variety.

However, I don't understand how the government was able to discourage the beach scene at Posto 5. There were always many hot local girls available on the beach in the afternoon. The girls were always more discreet (with the exception of smiles and winks) than the guys. Typically, you could get a good price on a quick afternoon visit to your Copa apartment.

I think the decline of Hoe Beach can be based on 3 factors.

1) The dollar was in the toilet for a few years so many mongers started going to other countries where we got more bang for our bucks. Fewer mongers in Copa meant that many of the girls were starving for reais and had to look elsewhere for work. Europe / getting married to their favorite client and hightailing it to America, etc.

2) The price of rent went sky high in Copa after Brasil won the World Cup and the Olympics. The girls were already staying 4 -5 deep in one bedroom apartments, but with the prices increasing, they couldn't afford to stay in Copa any longer.

3) Help closing and the policy changes in Meia Pataca was the nail in the coffin. Girls arent going to take the bus 2-3 hours from their favela to copa on the chance that they might make some money on Hoe Beach. Too far, too much money and too much time wasted if they don't land a client. In addition, after MP spent alot of money renovating the spot, they changed their policy with the girls. No longer could they sit in the restaurant for hours nursing a single beer! The waiters were pressuring them to spend more money or else they had to leave.

The last 3 trips I took to Rio, I doubt if I saw more than 2 GDPs working hoe beach, it was depressing. It was all european guys and some families sitting where dozens of GDPs used to be.
