Hi Zygomatic,

Could you by any chance give us a report on nuevo progresso? I know its a small town and doesn't have many options.

Senoral is a club which is often talked about.

What are the rates and what options we have?

I am in Nuevo progreso at a dentist office waiting for my friend to get her teeth worked on. I will have to come back tomorrow also. I am going to venture into this town further but so far I am happy to be back in Mexico since many years ago. There are lots of people crossing over from the US side into Nuevo progreso and the streets look very busy here.

As far as Reynosa, I decided not to go there due to the dangerous situations many people have found themselves in over there.

Of course you can, not all taxis can, nor will cross, but one can be found. Same applies in return to the USA.

I am going to stay in Reynosa Friday night but not to monger since I am going with a female friend. I was wondering if I can cross the border into Mexico in a taxi? I would hate to cross by foot looking like easy tourist targets with luggage and all. I just want to cross into Mexico in taxi and be taken directly to my hotel. Thanks.

Of course you can, not all taxis can, nor will cross, but one can be found. Same applies in return to the USA.

I think, after various posts, Gringo2, and the other names the he / she employed, needs to come down and visit. Learn the internet is not the real world. See first hand what we are up against here, the benefits, the downfalls, all can not be adequately described to a non visitor. I can't, and won't recommend anything, I can only report what I know. What is cool with me others may find disturbing, come down, get your feet wet, you like it or you don't, it's all what you make of it. Example, myself, and various others like staying at the Motel Fiesta, others find it not so good, it's all in what you prefer. Some girls I get outstanding service from, other guys don't do so well with the same girl. I get outstanding service from girls that you will never see in a bar. They expect discretion, so you may never know them. But asking many, many, questions will learn you nothing. Come on down.

It makes allot of sense that the girls only send photos if the appointment is for the same day and only through whatsapp. The only missing piece to the puzzle for me now is a place to put my wallet and passport when the girls are over or when I am out and about enjoying the culture. Are there enough hotels that provide safe boxes and are in a decent part of town like the Quality Inn?

Thanks for the heads up Bbond. It appears that this is another violent action between cartel or gang members. However, I can also see how this can encourage gang violence and extortion for tourists as well.

That's good information thanks bond. Ill check it out next time I'm in Laredo. $15 for 24 hrs is not great but its better then a lot of other options.

Good question. When I last left a car parked there in the mid-80's, I parked it on the street in a residential neighborhood. Came back five days later and it was still there.

Just curious, what is the life span of a hoe in Nuevo Laredo? Here in San Antonio, even though they can be very hot, the life span of a hoe is about 2 sessions because of the negative attitudes I would say.

I call these girls hoes, again because of the negativity. USA puts women in competition with men which allot of times results in poor relationships. I image that girls in Mexico are not trying so much to compete but rather try to work in harmony.

I sent her a whattapp message requesting pictures of girls that work there. She has a few cute spinners working there. ID rate at least an 8 just by the picture alone.
