Posts: 212Even if you just revived a thread from 2008 it is not worth a day trip.
The border area near Dresden is dead. I was there afew weeks ago and there are 3 clubs in Dubai open. Kiss the one next to Kiss. And one half way up the road to Dresden near the last roundabout before leaving Dubai. Clubs are only open at night quality of the girls in the clubs is not better than the street. Prices are comparable to low end Prag clubs but the clubs themselves are like crack head flop houses. They where always a bit run down but it looks like no Renovation since the 90's. Hell I would not be surprised if the sheets where still there from 2008 when someone asked about a day trip.

Tried to find the old road after leaving the new E55 somewhere just across the border. Was also in pursuit of some good Czech food, and maybe a decent cheap beer too. Couldn't find any, and it was really after just following signs back to Dresden (my phone doesn't work here, so just using very coarse google maps with GPS) , I found Petrovice, and a restaurant still open. 2 boxes ticked. As I headed back across the border, spotted 2 nightclubs, was really after a street girl, but saw mention that they weren't out so much after dark. None in evidence anyway. Back in Germany I remembered to go to a bank, then decided I could try one of the nightclubs. Had a proper Czech one, brunette of maybe 30-35, not too worn out and quite good service at Nightclub Lindo.
Whole town obviously hurting from the new highway.

I have had some really exciting adventures in Teplice from 1999. 2003.
In September 2011 I decided to go there again to see how it changed. And it changed a lot.
It's still a dirty and ugly city, but in 2003 there were still at least some good opportunities to find a nice SW for us.
Now it seems to be dead after 7pm. Have cruised the streets about 5 times and seen only one girl that seems to wait for a custumer.
Didn't stop because she was not really attractive.
The prices in the Restaurants and Hotels have grown up, but the value you get is still the same.
So there is nothng more worth to go to Teplice, sorry.

This old video shows some of the women operating in the area at the time. Most of them look fairly horrible If you ask me, anyway I don't think any of us missed on much.

Posts: 4348The History of Czech E55 in photos
Here is an article I found on a German site which has some good photos of the E55 hookers and brothels. Apparently sex for sale in this area is dying out now.

Photos of the women in this area have always been rare, so I think these are worth posting for nostalgia sake.

Posts: 587Prostitution almost disapeared in Dubi!
A new article in a czech newspaper about prostitution and the financial crisis:
During almost 20 years, Dubi was the symbol of prostitution in Czech Republic. In the golden era, the city of Dubi had much as 50 night clubs in operation.
Today only four clubs remain and Police is estimating that all night clubs may be closed in the next two years due to the financial crisis.
Last few years the strong crown already hurted sex business in Prague and the boarder areas with Germany and Austria but the financial crisis is now killing them because these night clubs rely mainly on tourists (up to 90% for some of them).
Most of the prostitutes working at the boarder areas (Dubi, Rozvadov...) are moving to Germany or Spain. Most of them are not czech but Bulgrarian or roumanian. Now that they are in EU, they can easily go further West and try their chance somewhere else in the Schengen area.
Last three years neon signs changed and shops, pensions/hotels or appartments replaced former night clubs. The last four clubs are Kiss, Libido, Venezia and Sauna (wich now opens on weekends only).
In the past up to 400 prostitutes worked in Dubi area. Now only 20-30 women... The remaining night clubs only offer 4 girls per night due to the lack of customers.
The business is so bad that bulgarian, ex-yougoslavian and albanian gangs sent their girls to other countries.
The situation is similar in other czech cities where prostitution relies on foreign clients. In Chomutov, where 99% of clients were Germans, from 20 night clubs only 3 clubs remain in operation. For now. Owners are thinking to switch to another business - like herna (gambling bars) - to make money.

Where else in CZ is good place to pick up good SW's.? Our more of the SW's working outside of town now. In Prague most people say that they are mainly Gypsies. It's really too bad we did not have a lot good street action in San Diego.

Posts: 587Chomutov: prostitutes leaving the city!
In october 2008, the City of Chomutov installed the first camera on Lipska street and started to record cars taking prostitutes on board. Pictures are sent to the car owner and also posted on a internet web site.
By law czech police canīt use the car ownerīs information without a valid reason, itīs against individual privacy. So the letter sent home is clearly mentionning the driver was caught on camera for "witnessing" reason, in his case about prostitution...
The licence plate is hided in accordance to the law but place, date and time is mentionned. No doubt wife or girlfriend will understand whatīs going on!
Many clients of prostitutes are coming from close Germany so the City of Chomutov took contact with the german Authorities to plan a information campaign.
The City of Chomutov hopes clients will stop to visit Chomutov for prostitution purpose once they will be informed about the risks.
Police will use the same reason as for czech cars to get access to the car ownerīs datas and sent him a letter with picture.
German newspapers and tv reporters already visited Chomutov to prepare future articles and reportages for the german audience.
The City of Chomutov motivation is to totally remove prostitution from his streets. If the prostitutes and clients move to other part of the city, they will follow them and install new cameras till prostitution is totally off.
Two months later prostitution almost disapeared from Lipska street. The number of prostitutes dropped by 80 percents. Prostitutes and clients moved a little bit further: to Kadanska street. But local Authorities already decided to apply similar action.
The City of Chomutov is satisfied, cameras are keeping clients away and slowly but surely prostitutes are leaving the city!

Posts: 587Smile when driving trough Chomutov or Dubi!
Authorities in Chomutov and Dubi had good ideas to fight against prostitution disorders
In Dubi they are broadcasting shots from cameras monitoring streets where night clubs are located...
Two cameras on the main street are showing shots from not less than 8 night clubs. This could be against the law protecting personal datas wich do not allow broadcasting without agreement of the person seen.
Three Billboards in German language were informing drivers that cameras are monitoring the streets and buying sexual services is forbidden by law (well in the street but not in the night clubs... ).
From the dozens of night clubs in the nineties (about 1500 prostitutes), only 8 clubs are still open in Dubi (from wich 2 are for sale)...
After short time the City administration decided to discontinue the service, fearing the risk of lawsuits.
In Chomutov they are planning to shot pictures of drivers as soon as fall 2008. Pictures will be sent to the address where the car is registrated (accordings to the license plates) with day and time indication
Accordings to the Chief Magistrate of Chomutov, street prostitutes do not care about fines so another attempt to erase prostitution will be tried with driverīs picture sent home and showed on a special website.
The administration is analyzing the possibility to send pictures to Germany as well...
Police will only print selected driverīs pictures from the cameras monitoring the streets of Chomutov, the one distinctly taking street prostitutes on board his car not the one lost and asking for street directions e.g.
