I understand what you are saying about the “Hill” but look if they set the prices there then they have to change the whole area.

They would have to bring “A” row women in along with the pimps/muscle, change the look of the hill, put more restrictions on the people allowed in like the RLD, and most of the “A” row type girls would still have attitudes.

The other bad deal would be that the negotiating would be limited for different services. See a lot of these places are giving almost free HJ’s and BJ’s (buy the drinks) deal. Like lighter9000 and I we negotiate are sex prices within our comfort level, where as if there are set prices we would be limited in negotiations. In the RLD’s even I can’t get much lower than the posted price where on the “Hill” there is better opportunities to get a freebie or a really discounted price. I don’t think that happens much in the RLD’s if at all unless your dropping some major $$$ consistently but even then it really is not a freebie because you have to continue to go back an spend a lot where as on the “Hill” you could probably swing into a deal with limited trips and softer on the wallet.

The last point should also be recognized, if you set prices on all of this then you screw the end consumer “us”…it is exactly like the regulation and deregulation of certain goods and services except in this case there will not be price caps there will be price floors (minimums) on everything. So everyplace you go you will pay a higher expense, probably poorer quality, and poorer service because the drive for competition is hindered due to the lack of making extra money. That is also one reason RLD’s “A” row girls have crappy attitudes everything offered you can get for the same price 1 step away. You don’t see them rejoicing to any great level even when the Koreans come through. To them its just another 70,000 won with the same lousy percentage.

Where on the “Hill” everything can be negotiated down. It is up to you and your negotiating ability to get what you want for the best price.

I would like to address your “why hook theory”.
1) Just because you may drop 10,000 – 20,000 won per drink doesn’t mean the woman receives a large percentage of that. Maybe 30% (just a guess) the rest goes to the house. Just for an example she will get 3,000 won ($2.50 USD) per each 10,000 ($8.30 USD) drink. She would have to sell 40 drinks at 10,000 won each just to earn $100.00 USD. Each girl would have to sell 40 drinks each just to earn that…. I don’t even see that much “people traffic” up there for them to sell that much each. Even on a payday weekend for the military or regular workers they don’t look that busy. I still see many of the women sitting in the doorways on the busiest weekends. That is why they hook… they are not making money if they don’t give up the kitty…that is what brings the customers back to the bar…mamasan has known this for hundreds of years and is probably being generous by even giving 30%.

When is the last time you went to a place filled with women and came home that night saying “Wow!!! I was not insulted at all, constructive criticism, debate, and learning new ways is what this board is all about. I try not to be too cynical about this hobby and like to keep an open mind. My way may work or it may not for others…let me know if it is not so I can go tweak and make it better or patch the loopholes- It is geared for the person that wants to get the best bang for his buck…that can be objective or subjective. I am getting more gems at a lower price that is all. The other point that I consider is the time value factor. Many of the women will limit your time or get in a rush (typical business sense) to make more from the next guy that walks in. For that reason I tend not to really part from my money so easy. It would be different if the women gave the same time and service for everyone however every man has their own time span and money controls the woman’s emotional greed so personal service doesn’t play a big part as the time does in the equation generally.

Lastly, I do the math. At the prices we pay, these women/clubs are making a killing off our simple but great desires. Even at the lower rates that I have been paying lately. I am not sure what percentage the women get, but my guess is that if they just work there, they might only make maybe 30% (just a guess) of what they bring in off of drinks. Anything behind the curtain or in a booth, well probably only a portion of that is getting disclosed, the other tucked, and she gets the kickback of the regular percentage amount of the disclosed portion. If she takes you to her place she may get all…but I am unsure with the break down for these women. It would be interesting to know.

Like my example, even for the average 15 minute fling in the booth at the discounted price of 50,000 won is still 200,000 won (approx. $160 USD) per hour. Double it if your paying 100,000 = 400,000 won (approx. $320 USD) per hour. Even if you average it through the busy and slow times, the suckers and the discount shoppers, and the club percentage and the private entertainment at her home/hotel/other, it is still likely to be close to 200,000 – 260,000 per hour on average when they are working. So they are still making money. I am basing these figures solely upon what I think they are charging the average guy I have no data to back it up other than my personal experience and what has been stated on forum boards.

I appreciate your honesty however I have to disagree with you in some aspects of your response.

You can call me cheap or whatever, personally I could careless what you want to call me…however my point is not to demonstrate my wiliness or lack there of to part from my hard earned money. The point is why should anyone have to pay American type prices too women that are willing to take less money for sex in a non-1st world country that is still developing. It’s the people that want to act like the big spender or is willing to accept the first price out of their mouth because that have trouble getting laid, have no clue, or they just are not negotiating as well as they could that inflate the women’s greediness to a level that it is currently.

Listen to what is going on in this forum…. you have many foreigners that can’t get laid in a red light district for under 180,000 and that is for a short time for a pristine looking lady…we are talking about 9’s and 10’s take are usually screwing Korean guys. Thanks for your reports. Just a few comments. Some girls will simply refuse to go below a certain amount. Even if you threaten to walk. This is especially the case with the places that have a mamasan behind the bar. The girls simply can't go below a certain price.

I do not mean to insult anyone’s negotiating abilities so I will share what has worked on hooker hill for me (the average guy).

From the post’s that I have read here most everyone is paying entirely too much for what you are getting or not getting.

Remember they know a sucker coming....don't be a sucker....don't get caught up in their BS...once they lure you in and sit down it makes it harder...... but not impossible.... to do these steps.....read carefully.... the following.


Remember most of these girls range from 4’s to 8’s on average dependent upon your own personal opinion and taste. I have seen what I consider 10’s usually walking through here but once in a while you seem to strike gold.

Everyone that has visited the “hill� a few times know that these women try to lure you in with some promise of having a good time if you buy them drinks and spend lots of money in the place…. And that they will go to your place (hotel or their room for 250,000 won in addition to drinks you buy inside) Well if that is your thing and you don’t mind spending that type of money or time…… go for it. For me, all that buying a drink BS is exactly that… BS. If I want to drink I can go to the store right on the corner buy 3 or 4 large beers for the price of one that some of these places charge. I definitely will not spend 10,000 won for one of their drinks.

Here is what has worked for me…if everyone begins to do the same thing then hopefully everyone will get laid for a more reasonable price more often.

Here is what I do (you can start usually after 4:00 pm to the whenever hours in the a.m. it does not really matter much what day it is but remember…. YMMV..)

Hint: Look for places that have 2 or fewer girls in the place and no customers. Also do not take all of your buddies go by yourself or if you have a great need to bring someone then limit it to one other. (I have always gone by myself since it has yielded the best results. However you may get a deal or a show for the 2 of you…. try it and post the results)

1) I walk the hill to see who is working and the selections that are available. (all of it, even on the gay side, because some of the women live right up that same street. You might catch them before they get to the bar). Don’t forget about the places up the hill on the north /south road on both sides and the lower main half of the hill and any other places that the ladies sit in the door…some place are located somewhat off the main portion or the entrance is located further back in a building, just check around for all the places first.

2) If you do not like what you see then go drink for awhile someplace other than there and come back and repeat 1) if you find a girl that you might enjoy to have sex with the proceed to 3)

3) The woman initiates contact anyways, so go talk to her but do not go into the bar…stand right outside the door. (they always have to tell you something and it always will only take 1 minute of your time….He He He a lot of BS)

4) Cut out all the “buy me a drink� BS and tell them that all you want is sex and that is it. It is not necessary to buy them drinks in order for you to get laid. Remind them that you are not there to buy any drinks, you are only there for sex. You can play the “hard to get� role or “I am not sure if you’re honest with me � role by starting to walk away or backing away if they insist that you have to buy a drink. Do not buy drinks for none of them unless you really have a strong desire to waste your money for nothing.

5) If they agree on having sex usually the women is alone, one or two coworkers, or have a mamasan in there. However that may not always be the case, trial and error, so don’t worry too much about other women watching or knowing. It tends to be better if there are fewer people in the place because they will usually shut the door and lock it for privacy and comfort.

6) Price Ask them how much? ….it will most likely be around 100,000 won or some other ridiculous price.

WARNINNG ----THAT IS TOO MUCH….ALERT---THAT IS TOO MUCH….. get my point.

Tell them that it is too much do not be afraid to negotiate at this point because they have already agreed on having sex…

They will probably ask you how much you are willing to spend (remember it is always better for the other person to give you the prices) so if you get stuck here always “low ball� the price or just tell them to go lower…but if you have to quote a price say 25,000 - 40,000 won they may look at you funny or laugh saying that is too cheap ---that is when you say “well tell me a fair price…�.

Hint: ( here is one thing you never know….and that is if they are willing to accept a lower price…..you don’t know unless you offer….you can get surprised on how low they are willing to accept…try it… don’t get disappointed if you don’t get the exact price each time)

At this point you force her into quoting you a price of course she still may quote a higher price but it will be closer too 50,000 - 80,000 won


Hint: If you frequent the “hill� often and have sampled some of the ladies you can try to convince them that they gave you a better price previously….insist on it….remember you are more likely to remember them than they are to remember you and the price they gave you…generally speaking…however if you did something stupid or caused a big commotion at one time or another they will probably remember you…more easily but you can always deny everything….


(you can get most all of these girls for around 50,000 won…give or take depending on you and her…the best I have done on the “hill� was 25,000 won for a quickie from a 30-35 year old, petite, nice c cups, not ugly at all—attractive woman not a 9 or 10….maybe closer to a 6 or 7…it may have been a slow night or whatever…but who cares for that price…. I was fortunate enough to win a low price that was the only reason….. it could have happened to anyone else in the same circumstance).

If you know how much you are willing to spend stick with that price (try to be within the lower portion of the market price…somewhere around 35,000-50,000 won)…because the woman will stick to her lowest price…you can either take it or leave it, but if it is still a little high leave it…come back 1/2 or 1 hour later and try again if you feel she will go down in price. But if she sticks to her price at that point it is up to you if you want to pay it.

Hint: Do not haggle too much for the price. They will give you an initial price…you counter with either a comment like “ I know I can get it cheaper than that around here…� she will either reply with a price or ask you a price….just tell her to give you a fair price…it will probably be around 60-80,000 won. If the price is getting good try to go 10,000 won less than you are willing to spend and see if she will bite…all in all it will be about 3 offers from each person on price …. at that point she will have probably have stated her lowest price for that day.

7) If you think you can get a better deal or a better woman for the same deal then walk away and shop around…. but so you don’t screw your deal up with her… tell her that you would like to look around first before you make a decision….it is okay to be somewhat honest to these ladies….especially if you already negotiated a fair price…she is not going anywhere that quick but she could get busy so use your better judgment…

8) The price you get today you may or may not get another day. Always, Always negotiate for the lowest price each and every time. Remember once they give a lower price and you begin seeing the same ladies frequently they really cannot raise the price on you if they desire to keep your business. If you get a great deal one day go back the next day and get the same deal…ask her what her work days are and tell her to remember you…and if you tell her that you will see her in a particular time frame then show up so you can keep getting the same deal…and she will start to recognize and remember you. WARNING- Watch out for the crazy Korean guy (metal rimmed glasses about 5 and 1/2 ft tall) that claims he was a doctor and has a large scar on his right bicep- he is friendly at first and then will follow you around if you talk to him and create more problems than it is worth being there….if you meet this guy do not get into any conversation with him politely deny and move on quickly.

I have been refused more times than I have been accepted. However if you find one girl that lets you in treat her nice she may hook you up with some of her hot friends, that maybe doubtful of foreigners, in the future.

The prices that have being quoted usually start at 180,000 won for foreigners. Many times though you can get them to lower the price during slow times, but forget it if it is busy they will turn tricks with Korean guys first. Unless you have a regular that will allow you in during a peak time it may be a lonely night if you are only set on the “A� row and there high prices. I will not pay 180,000 won for 15 minutes of sex…so I negotiate to a reasonable price that I am willing to pay (40,000 -120,000 won). For 588 “A� row girls I think the cheapest I have paid was 70,000 won.


When I went there it was late afternoon/early evening...many of the shops were just opening up. Like other reports have stated...there is a high rejection rate on the "A" row girls. However there was a strategy that has been suggested that could increase your odds of getting in but not for a cheaper price. If you walk into the “A� row shops and head just behind the curtain or door you have increased your odds of getting in…however the drawback to this approach is…they will usually quote you a price that is most likely going to be 3 to 5 times higher than that of a Korean National or if you would have just asked the price. Yes, sometimes you may run into some resistance from the ladies or the men (some are owners others are just muscle for protection of assets-not limited in slapping around the ladies if needed) that are working. I have been lucky enough to get several “A� row girls without the assistance of a Korean translator. Most of the “A� row girls prefer not to be with a foreigner for a several reasons…

1) the infamous language barrier
2) the general attitude that they perceive about foreigners (the myths/truths, military, etc… BS)
3) anything that may be longer, harder, faster, and even better usually hurts them if they are not accustomed to the size in general.
4) many tend to be loyal to the Krn. Nat. because in general Korean men are in many cases are their escape from being a prostitute if they can get hooked up with a good or rich guy.
5) they just don’t like foreigners for personal reasons, attitude, or actions in public
6) some are newer to the lifestyle and may be afraid to be adventurous
7) the last reason that was told to me by an “A� row lady was that some get threatened by the owners/muscle if they waiver from the Korean men for business reasons. Many of the regulars have been going to the same places for a long time and have spent huge amounts of money to have pristine young ladies give them a ball drainer time when they come. Where a foreigner is considered a non-regular unless convinced otherwise.

The prices that I have been quoted recently from “A� row ladies have being minimum of 70,000 won…..the maximum was 180,000 won. However in general many of these women will go from 180,000 to 310,000 won. Usually for 2 reason they will quote you a high price…1) thinking and hoping that you are willing to pay that much or 2) knowing that the chances you paying a high price will be slim and that you will go away but if you pay the high price they make out enduring 15 minutes of a foreigner.
