Thank you for the extensive report. I am leaving for Sabang on Saturday for about 2 weeks for diving. This is my 3rd time in about 6 years and I agree the talent there is really hit or miss. I am there for the diving so my night excursions are limited but sometimes you hit upon one that fits the bill. I have a couple of DIA girls lined up. Not going to push them but if they want a roll in the hay after a nice dinner I won't refuse. I will send a report in a few weeks.

Introduction.

I went to Puerto Galera for the first week of a longer trip to the Philippines in January 2018. The purpose of this trip was scuba diving, with some light mongering in Puerto Galera on the side. The diving there and elsewhere was excellent. The mongering in Puerto Galera was, with two major exceptions, of low quality and consistent with what I had read about it on this thread in my pre-trip research. Although some of my observations differed slightly. My observations come with the caveat that this trip was my first trip to East Asia, and Asian girls have historically been low on my list of priorities, so I would appreciate some feedback from seasoned Asia mongers (most of my overseas mongering thus far has been in Latin America and the Caribbean). I would not recommend Puerto Galera as the destination of a dedicated mongering trip, but if you are a diver who wants some light mongering on the side at a quality diving destination, it is one of only a few such places in the world.

Logistics.

I flew to Manila on a direct Philippine Airlines flight from JFK, with one stop in Vancouver. It was both the cheapest and and the most convenient flight that I could find. The flight itself was fine, except for the weight restrictions on carry-on luggage. My resort arranged my transfer from Manila to Puerto Galera.

I stayed at Atlantis Puerto Galera, the town's most respected dive resort which is also girl-friendly. One must bring the girl to the reception desk to sign in if you bring her back late (after 9-10 pm or so). There were no joiner fees. The night watchman found it amusing that I brought back a girl every night. He made a point of covering up my registrations of other girls on previous nights with his hand, so that the new girls would not see how busy I had been when they registered. All but one of the girly bars in the surrounding neighborhood of Sabang are within a five-minute walk from Atlantis.

The Girly Bars.

The standard total cost of a girl in the Sabang girly bars is 3000 pesos: 1500 to the house as a barfine when you leave with her, and 1500 to her whenever she leaves your hotel. I got the impression that they are in theory supposed to stay all night and leave in the morning, but I found that the duration of their stay often varied in practice, and in some cases I actually wanted them to leave earlier.

The girly bars include Coco Lips, Midnight, Quantum, Hammerhead, Broadway, Sabang Disco, Philippines Village Disco, and an eighth one whose name I cannot recall. All of them are very close to each other, except for the eighth bar whose name I cannot recall, which was further away. Midnight and Quantum, which are right on top of each other, are probably the most upscale bars and had, in my opinion, the best selection of girls and the best atmosphere. I believe that they have the same ownership, as well as the eighth bar whose name I cannot recall. They had similar atmospheres and thecor, with some of the girls wearing uniforms. The remaining girls from the eighth bar whose name I cannot remember relocated to Midnight and Quantum when it closed.

I would rate Coco Lips as the next best bar, with a good selection of girls but a rather small and cramped space. The other bars were rather unimpressive in comparison, with Broadway as the best of those other bars. Philippines Village Disco and Sabang Disco struck me as rather grungy and had the least appealing selection of girls. Hammerhead was deserted the one time that I visited it. Freelancers are also available in the bar / restaurant of the Big Apple Dive Resort, but I did not see any girls that caught my eye whenever I walked by it on the way to the girly bars. There were also "girls" hanging out across the street from the Big Apple Dive Resort, but they appeared to be ladyboys.

There was no cover charge at any of these bars. I abstained from alcohol because it does not go well with diving or with mongering, in my opinion. I drank sodas instead, which usually cost between 80 and 95 pesos per can. Girly drinks, which I usually purchased when a girl interested me enough to interview her, may have been about 250 pesos, give or take. Smoking is common in the girly bars.

The Girls.

The received wisdom is that it is best to go to the girly bars early, ideally at or before 7 pm, in order to have the best and widest selection of girls, as I learned in my pre-trip research on this thread. Other mongers corroborated this view when I spoke to them in person. Sabang caters in large part to Korean and Chinese visitors, who usually go early and pick the girls that they prefer for dinner and the rest of the night, leaving a smaller and supposedly less impressive selection later at night.

I question the received wisdom that the best girls disappear early, which may depend on various guys' differing tastes in women. The one night that I went earlier, I did not see any girls that impressed me any more than those that I saw on other nights, when I went later. I also noticed that the Asian mongers often picked from the small number of girls that the mamasans presented or "recommended" to them shortly after they entered the bars, rather than taking the time to scan the bars and choose girls on their own. The girls that the Asian mongers picked did not strike me as any more attractive than the others, so perhaps their taste in women differs from mine for cultural reasons. I did, however, occasionally see Caucasian mongers with girls that I might have barfined if I had seen them first. In any event, I had low expectations for the mongering there, and what I saw that first night confirmed those expectations, so I stuck to my priority: diving, including night dives, which were much better than the mongering. I went to the bars after the night dives, at around 8-9 pm, which still left a fairly wide selection.

The fundamental issue may have been that most Filipinas or Asian girls in general may not be a good fit for my personal taste. I am a tits & ass kind of guy, with a taste for the kind of voluptuous and often fiery women that one finds in Colombia, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic. Naturally, such preferences make it harder to find an Asian girl that suits one's tastes. I did find one girl with very big tits and a Latina-style ass; she said that she did not get many barfines because she was "chubby," I. E. She was not rail-thin like most of the other girls and instead had a curvy (but fit) and shapely figure.

I had thought that Puerto Galera might be a good place to experiment with Asian mongering without dedicating all or part of a trip to it, since I did not know how much the girls would appeal to me (which was one reason I did not go to Angeles City). I thought that perhaps the dose of Spanish genes and culture in the Philippines would make the girls more appealing, and I did see a few girls (including one that I pulled) that looked more Latina or Indian than Asian. I wonder if I would have found the girls in the mongering mecca of Angeles City more appealing, or if Filipinas are simply not my cup of tea.

The mamasans could be a bit pushy in "recommending"girls to me and seemed irritated when I rejected their repeated "recommendations," as if I were not serious about pulling girls. The girls that the mamasans "recommended" were usually among the least attractive in the bar at that time, which was probably why the mamasans were recommending them; I wonder if they would have gotten any business otherwise. I understand that the mamasans want to generate business for those girls, but what do they expect when they "recommend" the least attractive girls? Maybe they are used to the Asian mongers accepting whatever the mamasans put in front of them, instead of picking girls on their own.

Some of the girls approached me out of the blue to "recommend" other girls to me, who were usually less attractive than them. In fact, one girl approached me out of the blue to "recommend" another girl, but I ended up pulling the recommending girl instead. I am curious about the motivation for this practice, as I would think that the girls would have a financial interest in recommending themselves instead. Perhaps they wanted to do favors for less successful friends of theirs, or perhaps they wanted to play mamasan, as one girl's comment implied, if I understood her correctly.

I had low expectations for the quality of the service in Sabang, based on my pre-trip research on this thread, and the service was often about as low in quality as I expected. The most glaring problem was that some girls simply would not give blowjobs at all. The fact that something so fundamental is even open to question reflects poorly on the quality of service there. A hooker that does not give blowjobs is like a sandwich without bread. With that said, all of those that offered blowjobs offered BBBJ, so CBJ was not an issue. Full service was always covered; there was no bareback in that arena.

I pulled five different girls on seven nights in a row from Coco Lips, Midnight, and Quantum none from any of the other bars that I visited. Three of them (two from Midnight and one from Quantum) were complete duds and left early (two of them at my suggestion). The other two were solid performers; I have forgotten their names, but I have attached their photos. I would recommend barfining these two if and when you see them in Sabang, as quality service may be hard to find there.

I barfined one girl from Coco Lips three times, given the lack of appealing alternatives. She is the thinner one in the striped dress who looks almost Latina and she fucked like a Latina too. She made so much noise that I was worried that it would disturb other guests. She delivered a persuasive GFE and gave lengthy, sensual BBBJs. She had a very tight pussy and rode me vigorously. Conclusion.

I went to Puerto Galera for the diving; in that regard it exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it. The local mongering scene in the neighborhood of Sabang was just icing on the cake and not attractive enough in and of itself to visit it for that reason. Indeed, given the choice between the night dives and getting to the bars early enough for prime time mongering, I chose the night dives instead. Good diving and good mongering rarely coexist at the same levels in the same place; Curaao is the only such place that I have found thus far. Sint Maarten may have been such a place as well until the hurricanes destroyed it last year. Cozumel and Bonaire are quality Caribbean diving destinations with moderately good and modest chica bars, respectively. Sosua and Cartagena are both top mongering destinations, but the quality of the diving in those places is low and abysmal, respectively.

Can anyone suggest other Asian destinations with both good diving and good mongering? Thailand is on my list for both mongering and diving, but I think that I would split my time between mongering in Bangkok and diving on a live aboard in the Andaman Sea. What about Phuket or Pattaya?

In any event, the quality of the mongering scene in Sabang may not have mattered at the end of the day if Filipinas are simply not my cup of tea for physical and cultural reasons. Such concerns and the dearth of daytime non-mongering activities in Angeles City were why I did not visit that mongering mecca during this trip. I will probably return to the Philippines for diving in the future and wonder if I should add a stop in Angeles City. I wonder if a wider selection there would make it easier to find girls that suit my personal tastes, and perhaps I would find a higher quality of talent and service there. The very positive experiences that I had with those two girls whose pictures I have attached piqued my interest, and I might be willing to give mongering in the Philippines another chance if I could find something to do in Angeles City during the day, other than gambling.

As a 3rd time visitor to Sabang in the last 5 years I concur with the other posts the hotels / resorts are girl friendly. I have stayed in 3 different places and never a problem. Will be heading there end of Feb for a couple of weeks. This time I am lining up some DIA action. The bars are good but I am a "nervous Nellie" when it comes to the sweeties in the bar and avoiding any STD issues.

They tell you that it is girl-friendly in order to encourage you to stay there, only to find out when you get there that it is not. Mate, there are two things going for Puerto Gallera.

1. Deep sea diving.

2. Deep muff diving.

So you spend your day time in the ocean and nighttime drilling pussy. There are hundreds of prostitutes in this little hamlet and they work in the 8 bars. Every single hotel is girl friendly. Some places will ask your companion to sign in, but that's good for your safety.

When guys get a negative response from a hotel it is usually a simple case of a hotel covering its backside.

I don't know any hotels that have a pricing policy that distinguishes between 1 or 2 persons in a room. It's always assumed there will be 2 UNLESS you explicitly book a single room in which case you may well get a small bed or 2 single beds. I always put "2 persons" when I book a room so that my request for a big bed will be met.

FWIW I have never been denied bring a guest to my hotel room except in Dubai and there only at one hotel that my company forced me to use. Otherwise, I stayed in Dubai at known places where I know I can bring a guest. Elsewhere I always book for 2. Saves any hassles later and guaranteed a bigger bed.

Worst that has ever happened is that my guest has been asked for ID. Occasionally when my guest leaves the desk calls my room asking if it is OK for her to leave. The guest ID is for my protectio0 n as well s the hotel's and is not an issue for me.

Dude, you can get trike, bus, trike, bus, Jeepnee, bus, trike, taxi, trike, bunka, walk for an all day trip or you can spend an extra Barfine and get the seaplane direct or worst case one stop.

Tropicana castle dive resort is very close to the bars and is very inexpensive. I think I got the queen deluxe which was pretty good for approx $30. I would stay there again happily. Mermaids (across the street) is much more pricier but not much better.

Getting there from sSubic will be a challenge but don't know of another option. When you get to the pier in bantangas let a tout help you get through the maze of fees and ticket purchases. That's what I did anyway. The boat ride is 90 minutes.

The women (BGs) are a little more giving of their time so beach trips w / them are possible. You can rent a boat for snorkeling / sightseeing for around $20 a half day.

A week there would be a lot for me as I do not dive but if I did a week would be perfect. There's a lot there to explore.
