Planning a fellas trip to Costa Rica in September.

Been to Sosua, DR four years in a row, then Medellin, Colombia last year. Now looking at Jaco, Costa Rica.

Anyone have any tips, suggestions for somewhat upscale Villas or 4-5 bedroom house rentals? Going to be about 5 of us.

Get a couple of phone number the night before and then call them earlier in the day.

Visited Jaco in early December for 5 days and stayed at the vista delmar. It was my first time in CR and this is a long overdue first post. I had a friend with me. All of our time was spent at the Hotel Cocal. The girls were gorgeous and of all kinds, all shapes and sizes and ages. I actually preferred the scene more Monday thru Wednesday. The number of girls and guys is less but the ratio is probably similar. From Thursday thru Saturday it can go a little crazy. The girl to guy ratio is probably from 1:5 - 1-10 at the Cocal. While we were there we had a quite a few Ricas, a couple of Nicas, a Colombian and one girl from panama.

Vista Delmar was a perfect place to stay with a 3 bedroom apartment. If two or 3 people share it's pretty reasonable and right across from the action at Cocal.

Most girls I paid $100-120. They would ask 120-150 but you could talk them down. You could get 80 as well I think for a few. This was for usually 1-2 hrs but some stayed in much longer as they would drink in the apartment with us. One girl stayed for almost the whole day. I speak almost no Spanish, some girls spoke a little English and some more. I did not partake with any who spoke no English. A translator on the phone helps.

After the first time I always specified what my demand were downstairs at the Cocal, and once it was set I had no problems in the bedroom. I think that was very important. Spent some time with them at the bar, bought them a couple of beers and had some fun and then talked a little business.

The sex was good, some better than others. DFK, BBBJ and DATY is what I like and I got that from most girls I was with. Some I did not partake with as they said no. Sex was all covered.

With a couple of the girls that were great, we had them come by next day in the morning and they were happy to do so. We even took a couple sightseeing with us.

A few straglers were seen in the afternoon at Cocal but otherwise slim pickings before 6 pm. We did not go to any of the other bars, but they are a few which the girls go to once Cocal shuts down at 12 . They have been mentioned on this site before or just ask the girls where they are going. You will still find some girls even after 12 pm at Cocal at the casino which stays open.

Some of the girls that I liked and would recommend were Daisy, Uni, Kim, Vivian, Marcilis. The girls will give you their number so if you want someone for the next day take her number at night and then you can WhatsApp her the next day.

I know that my experience is limited but I really liked Jaco and staying at the vista delmar and with so many girls availability right next door at the Cocal. Hope to get back there soon but next I am off to Begota.

First post, but I've been coming down since the 90's. Here's my take:

Flight.

Flying into San Jose is the easiest and far better option than flying into Liberia. San Jose is a two hour +/- drive, while Liberia is a 4 hour +/- drive.

Getting to Jaco.

Bus: you can take the bus from the coca cola station. This is by far the cheapest option, but it also the most time consuming. Be careful at the bus station with your personal belongings because petty theft is common.

Taxi: There are one million taxi drivers waiting at the airport begging to take your bags from you and whisk you away. Whether you take one of these or prearrange a taxi before your arrival, you shouldn't spend more than $100..

Always ask for generic version prounounced, like, "henerico" to save $ but it's available there over the counter at EVERY farmacia in the country as well as virtually every other country in Central and South America. Me and some friends are planning a trip to Jaco in February. Is it possible to rent from airbnb and bring back a girl from the Cocal Hotel without any problems? Since there is a group of us coming, I need to plan in case the Cocal is booked up. Airbnb seems like a cheap option, but will it work for getting the girls from the hotel or local bars? Also, is Jaco better than Hotel Del Rey in San Jose? I hear many say San Jose is the place, but others think Jaco has much better women. Any thoughts?

2. Is there a difficult time finding adequate seating at the pool bar when it is busy?

3. What are the asking prices and negotiated prices to be expected?

4. Are there bars (not discos) in the city worth experiencing for food, drinks and girls?

The Del Rey isn't closed. They may have begun limited renovations, but the hotel remains open. I will be there early next week and will provide an update.

For example, the place I've been staying permits girls with no "Chica Fee" but only between the hours of !0 pm and 9 am. That said, it's not really enforced. So check with the individual place. Another way to go is through an agency like Lost Beach Vacations at 506 4001-0269 and ask them for a "Chica Friendly" place.

As for Cocal vs. Del Rey, first of all I hear the Del Rey is closed for renovations. Even so, all the best girls from there go to the Cocal anyway. With the new road from San Jose to Jaco it's only 90 minutes by car so the girls can work the Cocal by night and drive home.
