I agree with Want More. Hits and misses are part of the game either on SA or outside SA. I see that you have some good tricks up your sleeve. But at the end of the day I'm guessing you're still paying them for the arrangement. First of all, let me start by thanking fellow seniors for their invaluable advice from time to time regarding SA. Over the past weeks, I have talked to more than 30 SBs and, invariably, things have come to a dead end. The latest Uzbek one appeared promising but the whole thing is kaput. So, the net result of all the time and energy devoted to SA is a big, fat zero. My one month's subscription is ending in a few days and I don't plan on renewing it. You're better off finding out the flakiness now rather than later. Same kind of women will ditch you mid arrangement to make more money on the side or ditch you as soon as you pay for ticket and visa, or upon arrival etc (as previously pointed in another post by someone else).

To the contrary, when the arrangement was arrived at, I immediately told her to get visa formalities underway and she said ok. Now, to my mind, and correct me if I am wrong, the logical course of progression under such circumstances would be for the girl to inform you after she gets her visa so that you can book her ticket etc. So, I think, on this occasion she is either flaky or has found a better deal elsewhere like Wicked Roger said.

Anon, WG is right. I will add from my experience that once you have cleared the preliminaries ie search, contact, verify, agree terms of arrangement, and finally see if there is a chemistry then make the move to meet right away. There is no 'back burner' with the SA crowd.
