I would say go for it. Just the experience of Havana is worth the trip. We rented an Airbnb in the Vedado neighborhood right off the Malecon. No problems finding P4P. Walk down the Malecon or just walk the neighborhood. There was a restaurant called Sofia's we would go to for drinks and snacks. Always P $P action in there. You do have to be careful of the policia. Myself and my wingman pulled two girls one evening and was on route back to the condo when we were stopped by the police. We went on ahead and they detained the girls. The finally let them go to us, but wanted the girls to bring them $50 cuc on the way back out. So that is what it is. Had another occasion where we were talking to a couple chicas on a slow night on the malecon. Two policia walked up to see what we were doing. One of the chicas talked to them and they walked away. We quickly went into their abode on the Malecon, paid grandma a little fee on the way in. Did our business and left. Walked right back by the police. They politely smiled and we went about our business. Here is a pic of one of the girls I snagged from Sofia's. I would go back to Havana as well. But Medellin is still my favorite because the girls are so hot and GFE is abundant. I suspect the action might be a little easier now since its harder now for us Americans to go.

Habana would be a good place if it wasn't for the police constant harassment of the Chicas. It puts everyone on edge and takes away from the fun.

Come to our country for vacation but just don't talk to our women or we will put them in jail. The governments practice of this is irritating and frustrating.

Yeah yeah yeah I know; this is the Havana section of ISG. I just figure I might get more feedback if I asked here instead of the "Other Areas" section. So I am seriously considering going to Holguin for 3 weeks in September and was just wondering if anyone has been there recently? Yes I am "RTFFing" but just wanted to hear any thoughts from any of my wonderful fellow forum members about Holguin.

What's up guys? Happy to see that this board is still going strong. Well I did take my 2nd trip in late January and it was even better than my 1st trip. Unfortunately I didn't know what I was thinking about when I was packing my bags to come back home and accidentally placed my laptop into my checked in luggage. When I got home I realized that someone cut the lock to my luggage and stole my laptop. Before I left Havana I decided to barter my "Cuban" cellphone (sans Cubacel sim card) to this hot university of Havana student named Greta (for 3 sessions) who I hooked up with a few days before I came back. I felt generous so I left the memory card in it.

The thing is that cellphone was what I used for 99% of all my movies and pictures that I took when I was there. So before I gave Greta my Cuban cellphone I transferred all of the pictures and videos to my laptop that got stolen from my checked in luggage. Luckily my travel insurance reimbursed me for my laptop and two 1 terabyte external hard drives that got stolen.

I hate to sound a douchebag but I don't think it will be fair to you guys if I submitted a Trip Report without pictures and videos (damn I do sound like a douchebag!) So I will just give the basic facts about my last trip:

My apartment (Airbnb) was in Vedado and it was in a great location. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I had no views of the neighborhood from the windows because the apartment was an "internal" apartment.

I stayed very close to La Rampa and to Parque Coppelia. Had some success with my day game in La Rampa. Since I look like a Cuban when I approached a chick I would quietly asked her in English first what time they had (to show them that I'm a Yuma) and immediately asked the same question in Spanish to try continue this new conversation.

I also met up with a few chicas in Parque Coppelia for ice cream. These girls were girls that I met on Facebook (before my arrival) but they, in general, acted a little bit more entitled than other Havana girls (I still managed to bang out 4 of them).

To be honest for the majority of the time I stayed with 1 of my "snow bunnies" Rachel from my 1st trip. Almost everyday she was gone from my apartment for at least 4 hours running errands or whatever else she had to do that gave me a chance to find other playmates. Rachel and I went out to 3 bars / discotecas including "Q Bola" and they were alright. We ate at a few restaurants but I honestly can't remember the names of them. The only place that would be of interest to my fellow mongers is Dos Gardenias but I wasn't impressed. I was driven to Mangos so that Rachel could show me that it was closed. I didn't even make it back to Don Cangrejos.

Overall my 2nd trip was more low key than my 1st trip but still had a great time. Sorry this Trip Report is not as good as my 1st you guys.

Hello Fellow ISGers.

My buddies and I are strongly considering going back to Havana for our 2nd trip this May. Last time we were there last November and the following venues seemed to be the best to meet quality freelancers: Don Cangrejo, Mango's (now closed), Fantaxy, and St. Johns bar (also closed). We tried other venues like Mio why Tuyo, La Cecilia, Bolabana and they simply were not that abundant with talent like the others.

With Mango's and St. Johns being closed this really limits the good options even further for freelancers in bars and discos which we prefer. Does anyone have any updates on the venues, what else is currently good? Is Don Cangrejo still good on weekends? Anyone that can share recent intel would be much appreciated.

Now I feel like I HAVE to go to Havana in order to settle this (LOL). I love Latin Women, but then again I love 'them all: pouty Asian girls, sultry Spanish, wispy blonde FSU pretty much everyone except my former wife (German, but very Americanized). I also love MDE, but I haven't been to Havana. Closest thing was I was a journalist in marxist (at that time) Nicaragua in the early / mid 1980's. From what I gather there are a lot of social similarities to modern Cuba and the people were incredibly sweet (the military was omnipresent but also was kind of on the sweet side -- I frequently got picked up hitch hiking by military convoys). From what I could tell (as a Gringo), there was absolutely no prostitution going on (mostly because of the soldier on every corner). Which makes me curious about how it works in Cuba. I would have loved to have bedded some of those sweet communist Nicas --and I had the impression they felt the same way, but there was a barrier between us. On the other hand, at that time (and speaking as an American journalist), El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and even Costa Rica were full of p4 p opportunities for a guy like me, but sadly missing the sweet interpersonal connections that Nicaragua offered.

For strictly personal reasons I haven't yet committed to my next trip. I am leaning Cuba, but damn, the Colombian girls are hot and the commercially established GFE sex scene is easy to navigate. But I guess I'm still searching for my sweet Nicaraguense (or Cubanita) novia (for pay).

I'd say the challenge is on.

First of all, Latin women are the best. Medellin is the cleanest city I have ever been. People are extremely nice there. The cost of everything in Medellin is very inexpensive. But the girls, they are beautiful and fun. Age differences mean little and GFE is plentiful. Not one girl I was with acted mechanical. They all seemed to really enjoy time together. Better than a real girlfriend. Go look at Colombian Cupid and browse the girls, then about a month before your trip, sign up and start chatting with girls and you can have everything pre-arranged and negotiated before you go. After you make contact with one on CC, get their whatsapp number and set up all arrangements. Stay in the Parque Lleras area. Lots of fun at night and plenty of girls to snag from the street. You can always PM me for more info. I have a great guide there as well. He can help you arrange everything.

The two reasons I'm leaning AirBNB are that they appear to clearly state some units are "independent" -- I'm hoping that makes things easier, even though I realize it means less of the cultural experience than a traditional casa particular -- and they provide a way to contact the host. I can't see a way to do that with havanacasaparticular.com (although they list safes in the units which seems desirable to anyone from the US). Am I approaching this right?

I haven't been to the DR (many other parts of the Caribbean and Latin America though) but I encourage you to give Colombia a try if you like latin culture / women. I'm sure it's
very different from Cuba, but it's a special place, I'm happy to share my thoughts.

One tip: make sure you book a casa that is girl friendly. I booked on Airbnb and messaged the host to make sure they were cool with "guests" coming over. Not all of them are.

Cuba seems to be a bit trickier than the DR or Columbia (full disclosure I have never been to either). But it has the advantage of being kind of unique and isolated. Also I think the girls are a bit slimmer because their diet is healthier.

I haven't been to the DR (many other parts of the Caribbean and Latin America though) but I encourage you to give Colombia a try if you like latin culture / women. I'm sure it's very different from Cuba, but it's a special place, I'm happy to share my thoughts.

Havana checks all your boxes however nothing is guaranteed in Cuba. There will always be a club to go to, the Cubans love their dancing too much. The challenge is finding that one club that is hot, it changes nightly. You can waste half your night driving around trying to find one. As mentioned in other posts you can find some stunner but with that comes the hardened pros and the games.

Picking up girls on the street is much like the clubs. The scene changes minute by minute, hour by hour. It's really not like other countries where you have known avenues or streets with girls beckoning you in. An area can be hot one night and a ghost town the next. Sometimes it's obvious these girls are looking for some CUC but most times they blend in with their friends drinking and playing music, shopping etc. The aggressive ones will approach you but you will have much more success if you initiate the conversation. A smile and and Hello, opens up so many opportunities. Sitting on the malecon with a cooler bag of beers is like bees to honey. Once you unlock this, the pussy is right in front of you all the time.

Cuba is not an all inclusive monger destination like the others. You can't jet in and pick up the phone, go for a massage, Facebook or pop into the mongering bar / hotel; That option is not there. You need to put some leg work in and most off all you have to be able to handle all the bullshit that comes with it. Cuba is not for everyone but if you put the time and effort in you will be rewarded. Your age BTW will not be an issue at all.

I love the suggestion of "Sitting on the Malecon with a cooler bag of beers", that's exactly my style but I wouldn't have thought of it. My issue is that (for various personal reasons) it's a while since I've been able to do a serious international mongering trip and with just a small window I'd hate for it to be a total flop. I read reports that suggest members go for weeks without success, whereas in Colombia it's shooting fish in a barrel (but the diamonds are few and far between). Not totally decided yet, but damn, Cuba is tempting. Happy for any other opinions or advice on how to make it a success (in six days).

I don't think you will go weeks without success. Just staying in Vedado you will be followed by girls and propositioned. The hard thing sis finding a gem. Btu if you stay out there you'll be fine.

Knowing a bit of Spanish and not being shy about using it will go a long way.

Clubs like Don Cangrejo and La Gruta (where the girls from St John hotel have been apparently congregating) are like shooting fish in a barrel.
