Deutsche Bank ATMs accept 6-digit PIN just fine. That includes BOA debit cards.

Thanks for clarifying. You are probably right. This was a few years ago; I remember my 8 digits was too long for ATMs, but whether they accepted max 4 or 6 digits, I don't remember exactly.

And don't forget the max length of pin numbers the ATMs accept in most of Europe is not more than 4 digits (once I put an 8 digit pin on my BOA card for better security and then found in Germany that their ATMs do not accept more than 4 digit pins!

Here is what I would suggest instead of carrying cash around with you:

-If you are based in US, if you use your checking debit card abroad, the international exchange rate is pretty good. Even with the 3% surcharge the total comes much better than the rate you get from any currency exchange in Europe (or at least in Germany for sure; not much so in Canada; the exchange rate at Calforex currency exchange chain is the best in Canada). And of course the ATM machines are plenty everywhere you travel in Germany. This way you will avoid the ridiculous cash advance fees of credit card or their interests too; or the extra charge by the clubs as Siri mentioned in the other post if you pay by credit card.

-Open a hidden checking account for your hobby (like at BOA; the advantage of BOA is that it has sister banks all over the world; in Germany it is the Deutsche bank and it waves the ATM fee- but not the surcharge fee...although the ATM fee is not much, like $3-4 per transaction). Go paperless so there is no mailed paper statement that your SO can find out; just to have to find a way to get the debit card that is mailed to you does not fall in your SO's hand!). Deposit the cash you want to carry with you in your hobby checking account before you leave, inform your bank about your travel destination and then travel with peace of mind! Don't forget that there is a limit to daily cash withdrawal at ATM; usually in the range of 500-800 USD per day; check with your bank first.

I would say even if your checking account has a monthly fee, over the course of a year with the better exchange rate it will pay off for itself.

I can get away with with withdrawing some euro from my personal see you and taking a cash advance of say 400-500 Euro from my work but that's it. I do have a few Euro from last year too.

Yes, you are paying for the time, and can finish multiple times. Some girls will try to keep it to once every half an hour, but the standard is to finish as much as you want in the time you have.

Not true in a 30 minutes session most of the girls will only allowed you to come 1 time, in a hour session that has to be negotiated but don't imagine that you can come 3 times without extra cost.
