Like I said, what do I know, I'm just a guy who's been to Cartagena 110+ times. I'm there for the Colombianas, not the to count the number of tourists surging to Cartagena for a religious holiday.

Bottom line is that a feller will find more chicas than he can handle in each and every month of the year. A feller is better off to be there in April and May and not run into those guys who only come when there's a surge, LOL.

I am glad you said this. Me and wingman had a trip planned for DR April 27 - May 1. Got turned off my the price of flights, ($700 for me and $800 for him) I said lets go to Cartagena instead, flights are under $400, it's on our list and it's not a slum like Sousa.

He came back a few days later and said that he found out that the place will have no girls, they all go home at Easter and that the upcoming elections would make it worse, as the girls will not come back from Easter until after the election. He wanted to go back to Jaco for the third time instead.

We use these boards to gauge things and gain intel. Reading last years time period in the forum showed no problems at all at this time of year. Yes, things are slower but that works for us, not against us. You don't go to Disney World while kids are out of school on vacation, you go when they are in school and less kids at Disney World.

The rides are the same, the lines are shorter and they offer discounts because they are half full.

I see it as a ratio that never really changes. During peak times, girls know fellas are coming in to town so they come in to town. During "off season", some of the girls go away and some of the fellas stop coming to town.

Thanks to Hilltop and Yippie, I am making an executive decision and we booking it.

Need to work on 2 bedroom chica friendly condo near the action. Will go back and read the forum more to see if any recommendations. Seems people travel out to Hollywood all the time, maybe we should stay out there instead of "in town"? Any feedback appreciated.

IMHO, to say Cartagena empties out after Semana Santa is not only a gross exaggeration, but misinformation to guys looking to enjoy the Colombianas there. But what do I know.

It is exactly what happens. There's a surge during Semana Santa and then it dies out. How the fuck is that an exaggeration? Hahaha You don't see many people coming back until about end of June, beginning of August.

After Semana Santa it empties out and that is March 31st this year. It's a bit like Labor day in the British Caribbean. You want a cheap stay in the Bahamas? Buy labor day tickets and reservations a few weeks before. It's the last seats all being sold for cheap.

In any case, I don't doubt there are participants but it won't be as busy. Don't expect 50+ chicas in the plaza.

From my perspective as being a person who has been in Cartagena multiple times in each and every month out-of-the year during the last 11 years, you're making something out of nothing. I've been in Cartagena every April for the last 10 consecutive years and will be there again this year-there will not be a shortage of chicas.

It's dirt cheap because it will be a ghost town. After this Friday, unless Venezuelanas are desperate, you won't see many hookers. But with the problems in Venezuela there may be quite a presence by industrious chicas.

I was thinking about the checkpoints and getting stopped. I never ever carry anything on me. But a bit paranoid having a girl with me. Getting stopped. And getting pinned for what she has. Is it too much to send a girl back to the place in her own cab? I mean for the extra 4 $. Whatever.

You don't need to do this. You can't be pinned for someone else carrying drugs. That's ridiculous even for Colombia.

I will be there may 18-20. Already talking to a few girls off tinder and one girl I know from previous trips. So far on tinder every single one is Venezuelan. My repeat that is a local said they are taking over as working girls??

I'm not complaining hahah. I've already been told 400 from sun down to sun up by a stunner. And others are telling me 250 for a session. That's all without being there and actually negotiating.
