So, by 10 am the malls are open and I go buy a sim card and a few other essential items. By 11 am I have usually checked into my hotel and by noon the massage parlors begin to open as the girls slowly begin to arrive. I have now acclimated myself to BKK time. Let the good times roll!

The other half of the time I fly trans pacific from the USA so I arrive in SE Asia between 6 pm and 10 pm. Regarding Shock 39 and Russian/CIS talent, go through my FRs and I think you'll get sufficient information. Also, as another senior mentioned, ask your hotel and you may be able to get early check-in. I've been able to check in at around 7-7.30 in the morning on numerous occasions. Depends upon a bunch of factors such as how accomodating/friendly the staff is (usually not a problem in case of 4-5* properties), the category of the room you are staying in (better chances of early check-in/late check-out if you are staying in an executive suite or such like), duration of stay (obviously, longer the better), how frequently you stay at that property etc. Ask and you may be pleasantly surprised.
