Is there any foreigner friendly girly action in Iloilo City or is take your own? Is there anything at all which would keep a westerner amused in Iloilo for a few days? All the videos on the web only show family friendly stuff.

You can find but is a small place (fewer) westerners and some feel a tad cautious about visiting the city now due to occasional local 'activity' by one group or another.

I took a cutie with me and I met a Iloilo girl in Cebu who was happier and more relaxed (as no one could see her with a foreigner in a hotel). But there are few guys there and I know one who at times lives just outside the city with his wife but he will never crap on his own doorstep. He goes to Cebu for that LOL.

Hotel are OK nothing to write home about.

Yes, I was mostly in Tagbilaran doing some business. I agree with your opinion about Alona beach. Its getting too crowded and a tourist trap. I did one of those island hopping tours. I thought the price was all in. When I arrived in Balicasag, there was another entrance fee and another fee for the boat if you want to go snorkling just few meters away from where your main boat is ducked.

When I first went to Alona Beach (Panglao Island) over ten years ago, I loved it. Sadly, it has become a tourist trap. My favorite watering hole has been torn down. My favorite hotel had a nice Thai restaurant, but now has set up a fresh fish option which brings a lot of extra noise, clutter, and even trash. There isn't much space for swimming as much of the water has become parking for the bancas.

Of course if you like a lot of noise and excitement, this is the place for you. And I have to admit, some of the young Western and Korean women walking about are gorgeous. If I were twenty years younger I would try to hit on some of the Koreans gals.

One alternative is Dumalung Beach which is also on Panglao Island. Not yet too commercialized. Lots of white sand. And it's a short ride to Alona beach if you want a bit more excitement or more shopping and restaurant options.

This province is very conservative. Prostitution is frowned upon. But there are still ways to find girls. I had ask a security guard of a hotel. He referred me to mamasan. Mamasan took the girl to the meeting place. I did not like the mamasan as she ask me for a snack right off the bat.

Not a very nice way to start a good professional relationship. It turns out that my girl knows a lot of girls and hook me up with a working mamasan. This mamasan carries around a cellphone with pictures of girls. The girls were mostly 8's some 9's. One was a local beauty pageant contestant.

I noticed the other rooms when I stayed there for about three nights. Ordering breakfast before scuba diving didn't work out very well for anyone, ever, unless you pre-ordered the night before.

Last time I was there the large rooms were full of Pinoy families inc kids and grandma. Definitely made it a little uneasy walking around with Ms Rightnow. Is that still the case or are they back to the usual punters?

There are newer rooms out the back. They are far better than the old front rooms but still nothing special.

The food comes in very large servings and quite tasty but yes, allow a few hours to be served and delivered. Especially if the place is busy. I'm not exaggerating.

In summary, the Big Apple is a shit hole. But it is a shit hole with a lot of character and in a great location where nothing is off the menu. They have catered to some wild impromptu guest parties.

Pretty standard practice in Sabang to barfine, have a night session or two then let her sleep in in the morning while you go out diving. Back for another round before lunch and then another after lunch if you see fit letting her go home and get ready for work at 3 ish that tends to fill in the afternoon pretty well. 😁.

If you want the to arrive in the afternoon rather than stay the night before, just tell them in the bar to come around at 3 pm or whenever you want. Other options are get numbers in the bars then cold call at lunchtime. Note that many girls may still be with last night's John. I've found simply stopping the off duty girls walking around the streets is the most reliable as the girls are totally unreliable at meeting phone or night before bookings. A seat at the Big Apple over looking the footpath offers a look vantage point.

However this upcoming trip will have spent nearly 2 days traveling and get in a bit early wouldn't mind a little piney action pre dinner. Anyone had any experience with daytime action in sebang?

If your going to Sebang and it may be hard to find anyone actually. Now if your going to Sabang most clubs are don't open to 700 ish but there are a few bars like Big Apple, and a sportsbar up the street about a 1000 meters from the Sabang Pier. Quality is definitely down, though the most frustrating part is that is has become a thing for the asian cliental (mostly korean) to go at the bar opening time of 7 and pull the best lookers often without even bothering with a drink.

Phuket is certainly better for girls, many more options. However the diving isn't that great, and from Patong Beach, to the pier to the dive site is at least a couple hours, so much bigger commitment than in sebang.

This was an excellent report. Looks like the quality has dropped somewhat from the one and only trip I mongered in Sabang. Met my first Filipina GF there in Broadway (photos below) in 2005. I would submit that Phuket should have a decent combination of diving and girls. Had a great time there doing both in 1991, and I would imagine that there are more girls now. There was decent diving at a couple nearby islands (Ko Racha Noi and Ko Racha Yai), and there is less clear but supposedly interesting diving at the nearby spots Shark Point and Anemone Reef. There were plenty of cute working girls in the local bars and discos at Patong Beach, and even some great looking girls in the private houses w / mamasans of Phuket Town.

I remember a crystal clear drift dive over a staghorn coral forest at one of the Racha islands that was superb, only marred by my rented BC's valve sticking and filling up with air, all while being charged by a Titan triggerfish as I drifted over its nest. Was pretty funny when I look back on it. This dive was in 1996.

I am seeking clarification or confirmation as to whether or not Atlantis Dive Resort in Puerto Galera / Sabang is girl-friendly. I have contacted the resort in order to learn their policy on bar girls, but I would also appreciate independent sources of information on this point. Has anyone brought a bar girl back to a room there without incident?

I can hardly image there would be an "incident" of any kind. But you're going to be noticed. I have no info on additional charge for BF girl. However. I made a point of checking out Atlantis while in Sabang to find out why the hell the dive prices were so much higher than anywhere else. My impression was they cater more to middle age western couples. Older clientele and I would have felt really awkward bringing a girl into this place. I didn't like the attitude of the dive staff when I questioned them about dive rates. They are by far the highest in all of Sabang. There are better places to stay and certainly better dive shops without an attitude that offer great diving. Big Apple is a safe place for girls and diving, but the accommodations are getting old and and restaurant service a bit slow. I got the best value further up the strip from Atlantis.

Introduction.

I went to Puerto Galera for the first week of a longer trip to the Philippines in January 2018. The purpose of this trip was scuba diving, with some light mongering in Puerto Galera on the side. The diving there and elsewhere was excellent. The mongering in Puerto Galera was, with two major exceptions, of low quality and consistent with what I had read about it on this thread in my pre-trip research. Although some of my observations differed slightly. My observations come with the caveat that this trip was my first trip to East Asia, and Asian girls have historically been low on my list of priorities, so I would appreciate some feedback from seasoned Asia mongers (most of my overseas mongering thus far has been in Latin America and the Caribbean). I would not recommend Puerto Galera as the destination of a dedicated mongering trip, but if you are a diver who wants some light mongering on the side at a quality diving destination, it is one of only a few such places in the world.

In any event, the quality of the mongering scene in Sabang may not have mattered at the end of the day if Filipinas are simply not my cup of tea for physical and cultural reasons. Such concerns and the dearth of daytime non-mongering activities in Angeles City were why I did not visit that mongering mecca during this trip. I will probably return to the Philippines for diving in the future and wonder if I should add a stop in Angeles City. I wonder if a wider selection there would make it easier to find girls that suit my personal tastes, and perhaps I would find a higher quality of talent and service there. The very positive experiences that I had with those two girls whose pictures I have attached piqued my interest, and I might be willing to give mongering in the Philippines another chance if I could find something to do in Angeles City during the day, other than gambling.

Given your specific tastes, you might consider a stop in AC to experiment and find a couple of ladies that fit your tastes well, and then take them with you for the diving trip.
