Special Soi 6 Pricing Alert.

I don't remember that this has been discussed here, but I got a shock while mongering on Soi 6 today. I went to Night Wish, finding several hot girls there. I was set to BF one but then she said the BF was 1000 and she was 2500 Baht! Huh? She was indeed a higher quality girl, but 3,500 total? I wondered if she was trying to avoid me and was quoting a high price due to my age or whatever, but she had been Frenching me and touching me down there, so I dismissed that theory. I politely declined and she did not offer a lower price. She remained polite and continued to touch me, but I thanked her for her time and left. I proceeded to a bar I now can't remember, with more normal looking girls, and did a session for 1000/350. It was not exactly satisfying, even for me, so I went to Chilie Bar (spelling? After that for a fairly normal looking Soi 6 girl. Cute, girl-next-door with a few added pounds, and after a LD and some chatting, I got quoted 800 BF and 2,000 for her! What the heck!? Aint' no way that girl, Noi, was worth that, unless she was some superstar performer possibly. I again wondered if it was age discrimination (perfectly understandable if so), but she had been touching me and stuff, was very friendly and energetic, and had clearly wanted to be BF'the. I again declined and she did not make any lower offer. I can understand prices going up a little after several years, but for a standard rabbit-warren Soi 6 bar, a doubling to tripling of the price seems insane. Possibly Night Wish could pull off an increase, but have you guys noted this?? Have I failed to keep up with the reports here?

Your quoting barfines and then talking about short time prices upstairs. If your taking the girl back to your room for the night those prices seem correct. The bar has to make up for its loss of rooms being booked by the girl, hence the high barfine. And the girl has to make up for her lost rooms by quoting a higher price than a short time room. You failed to mention the time you encountered these prices which does factor into the price.

And a side note. I accidentally left my phone at the exchange booth there at the Soi 6 entrance. I foolishly didn't even realize I had left it there, instead thinking later when I wanted to check the time that I must have left it at the hotel. But, when I got back to the hotel and walked in, I was surprised when the desk clerk asked if I was in room xxx. Opps, I think, they are going to fine me for the bed sheet with lube stains! But instead they ask if I exchanged money earlier. Ummmm yeah, how did you know that? Turns out my phone was at the exchange booth. I wonder how the heck did they trace me to the hotel? I was fortunate that I had just that day gotten a new SIM card for Thai Internet service, and that my Lady friend, who you will soon be reading about in my reports, was able to Line call me and, when they answered, tell them my location. I would have eventually tracked the phone down – unless the customer behind me decided he wanted an old iPhone – saving me a big headache. Thanks to the nice people who helped. !

I suppose I should add that I will be in Pattaya for a total of 14 days and this is Day 5, so I have a few reports to post! When done here, I will meet up with my Thai GF where we will spend a few days in Phuket before jetting to Hong Kong for two night at the Disney hotel then taking a cruise to Okinawa. So, now that she is no longer a virgin I am stepping up the game a bit! But, my Pattaya trip, as you will soon see, is off to a slower start than normal but things are not going normally, but that is ok. Much more to come.

Pattaya Trip Report, Friday, Day 1.

I arrived BKK at 11:10 AM Friday from LAX. I flew EVA business class again which, while super expensive, is far more pleasant as you can lay down flat and get some real sleep. EVA has made some changes since my last time. The FA's have new uniforms, which are a bit less professional-looking and probably more comfortable for the girls and gives them a softer appearance which I like. The hard assets, such as the amenity kit and look of the menus, has declined, which really doesn't impact the service, but those Rowina kits the artistic menus were a nice touch. Also, at least on this flight, the food wasn't as good. I remember last time having beef steak that was thick and medium well. This time, it was maybe half an inch and was brown throughout. OK, but for the price. I am hardly a gourmet, so a portion of the classy food I have always found unappetizing for me (I like my fish cooked and beet soup? Horrid!) But there was plenty of food and much of it tasty so no worries about going hungry. I will withhold an opinion of the food after my return trip. Suffice to say, business class travel is awesome but I may revert back to elite class next time as it is difficult to justify the much, much higher price time after time.

But a major perk with business class is you get to use expedited customs check in. No super long waits. Literally, there was zero waiting on trip. Also, with business class, your bags are the first to come out, so the wait for baggage was just a couple of minutes. I had schedule the ride to Pattaya with Nam and the driver was waiting at the designated location and off we were before 12 PM. The only downside with using a driver is that you have to lug your luggage outside and through and to the parking area. My carryon was heavy and without wheels, so I was covered in sweat by the time I got to the car. A few days earlier I was in freezing weather, and now the temperare and humidty were in their 90's. But there was water waiting for me in the car and the AC quickly worked, and soon we were on our way to Pattaya.

The traffic was moderate and we made good time -- until we got to the city, where it was pure gridlock. The driver managed to find a shortcut or two, so right at 2 PM we pulled into the Dynasty. Check-in was fast and the room was ready. As with all Thai hotels it seems, the room had been unpowered so it took a while to chill the heat-saturated room down, but as it did so I unpacked and put my things away. I will spend a week here before moving to the Flipper House for the final week.

Though I got in a full 6 hours of sleep on the plane, which is really all I need per day, I was still sleep-deprived from all the traveling across the USA as well as Pacific, and I decided to take a nap now that all was put away and the room was at a comfortable temperature. I thought about what I wanted to do, mongering wise, but fell asleep before deciding what to do. It was about 3 PM when I woke up after a short nap, but I still felt exhausted so I decided to rest some more, sleeping deeply until nearly 6 PM. My options were to call up one of the TF girls, but my tradition has been to go to Soi 6, and that is what I decided to do. I changed into my mongering clothes (short shirt and cargo shorts). I had used the Japanese. 01's in the standard size and found them too tight and they were difficult to roll on and prone to breakage. I have some hopes for these new Okamotos. I also brought the standby Aoni. 01's latex condoms that I had been using and which seem to be the only super thin condoms in the western world. They are ok, but tend to break if the girl dries out. And I also brought, again, the Sagami. 02's in the large size. I first started using these as they are still a thin condom and the best Japan had to offer in a larger size before the Okomotos. I set one of sample of each of the 4 types to take with me.

Prior to leaving, I down half of an apcalis pill, then I grab a baht bus for Soi 6. With the sun down the air had cooled and it pleasant enough outside. The earlier gridlock has dissipated so it was smooth sailing from Soi 13 to 6. Arriving, I did the walk east-to-west and was not really impressed with the selection. There were plenty of girls and not a ton of guys for being a Friday night. A few clubs were deserted while a couple were busy. I turned around and headed back east, but didn't settle upon anyone until the trip back west again. I finally was drawn in by a cute spinner at O Bar. A good thing with Marine Bar is the free wireless that you can get outside the bar on the street. I had walked through I-Bar just before and it was fairly well packed. The helmets you will get w / your rental scooter will not protect you from head injuries, they are cheap plastic. They will however protect you from a "no helmet ticket".

Before my trips if I know I will be using scooters a lot so I bring my own certified brain bucket. They don't take up that much room in the suitcase, or you can buy one there too.

I don't wear flip flops either when using a scooter. I like walking too much.

Short time is usually up to an hour in a room above the bar and longtime is for the rest of the evening. You might have to negotiate for that.
