I am due to arrive in the country at the start of June. How does Ramadam usually effect the nightlife and general mongering? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your opinion on MPs and the information about SW.
I had read previous posts, but the info / advice about MPs seemed sparse and dated.
As you suggest, I am trying to do my homework, but as I'm sure you will remember mongering in a new place can be challenging.
Based on you advice it looks like SW and bars might be the best approach in Kampala and so as you suggest, I will note the bars the action takes place. However, as I mentioned before, any inside information would be appreciated.

Yes, you are right, I have travelled to Norway and Nepal and was looking for action in both countries. Therefore I have asked on the forum for information from the experts in those countries.
I received lots of really useful information from various guys before travelling to Nepal and had a great time mongering.
Prior to travelling to Uganda I will be in Tanzania and plan to arrange action there to.
I was hoping to receive the same type of friendly support I received prior to visiting Nepal and so as I mentioned before any inside information would be appreciated.

Hi,
Next month and wanted some advice on the best way of getting some action. Are bars / clubs the best option or MPs?
I'm travelling with another guy who is not into the scene, so time spent in bars looking for girls is going to be limited, Therefore MPs might be a better option. Can anyone advise:
- The name / location of safe MPs.
- Price you might expect to pay.
- Process E. G. Is it okay to go into a MP and look at the girls available before having fun?
Any information would be really appreciated.

Tantan- the Chinese version of Tindr- gets very quick and copious results in Kampala. I think you have to be on country to use it though. It uses your current location. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Posts: 165Is it safe to pass the custom having not declared medicines?
Hi guys,
I don't know if you have seen that when arriving to Entebbe aiport after to have retrieved the luggage, there are some panels and posters that say to be a criminal offence to introduce medicines in uganda without to declare them at the custom.
Now everybody know that Uganda and other African countries are not like Germany or Swiss so I suppose that being honest and declaring at the custom, the result will be just to receive requests of money, tips and so on.
Anyway I am scared that if they decide to check you, finding medicines like tablets against malaria, they can create a lot o problems.
So what are your opinion about that?

I visited Kampala last month and fellow the footprints of Neddy69, thanks Neddy!
So I stayed only in the Kabalagala area. Aroud the Capital Pub a lot of places to eat, drink and find WG.
But very quiet on weekdays and the quality of the WG is either low.
Every night there are about 10 street workers halfway the street. They take you behind in a small motel, but I do'nt now the rate.
The reggae café is a good place to spot the street movement, even in the afternoon, and to start the evening.
One of the bar keepers is a nice guy. Behind there is a billiard table and some stuff traffic. Open 24 h.
The girls hanging around were not my choise.
The best moment I had was on a Wednesday night in the 'Congo Bar' , a lot of fun with Congoleese girls.
