Judys and Manhattan have IMHO taken a dive. Who wants to go to a place where you pay about US rates for a choice of women from 1 COUNTRY? The prices are way over the odds for what you are getting. Now I have no problem with Vietnamese women at all they can be super hot but when I am in China I do like at least some local flavours too. The fun is not only after you choose but rather is to be had chatting with your mates with girls hanging of every part of you and the furniture. I get that, but gone are the days however when Shanghai was the fun capital of the world.

A friendly suggestion to my friends who cannot do outcall or takeout (because (1) wife is at home or (2) hotel is not girl friendly or (3) you're afraid of being seen), try asking the girl to book a short time hotel for you. I got the idea from the infamous Beverly Jones. She suggested it and that's how we always met. Chinese people can book a hotel for 4 hours for 100 RMB. (FYI, I tried to book them myself, but have been denied because I'm a foreigner). I have to admit, you may need to establish trust with a girl first. For example, I had to book a Hotel 168 a few times for the initial rendezvous, which set me back at least 250 RMB (and it's a hassle anyway). But once the girl knows you, you tell her you can only see her if she books the hotel that you'll reimburse. They often will oblige. And girls like Wenli (on classifieds) and the well known Hujing and Maria, and others, all booked the short time hotels for me from the very first encounter. For them, cancellation is fully refundable so they don't care if you flake on the date. Just a suggestion. Probably many of you are already doing this.

It's a good suggestion but might not work as well with the foreign talent in Manhattan and Judy's.

Suggest you take a taxi to the Blind Pig which is literally 100 feet away. Nice bar. Have a Jack and Coke or two maybe some BBQ and you will be good to brave the onslaught. A little social lubrication really sets you up for a good night.

Beach Club in Kuala Lumpur is very similar to Manhattan, actually a little nicer because it's a bit bigger and more open to the outside. Also much cheaper for nice girls, especially Vietnamese, but all flavors.

Ipanema in Singapore is also a lot of fun, and similar. Prices range from 150-200 Singapore.

I certainly met a stunning Viet at Manhattan, and still chat with her. Priciest of the bunch.

I understand Der Xie. I used to love going to these takeout places when I didn't mind staying out late, but it's still better to go with a friend so you can drink with your buddy while eyeing the talent and pondering who to take home. If you go alone, you get hounded by one after another for a fast deal. For me, Ipanema in SG was an exception, since it had that Galaga video arcade game, so I had something to do while scouting the talent. I played that game for so many hours over so many years, LOL.

The girls are all interested in you and some can be pretty aggressive. I personally find it great fun. Yeah, Manhattan is pretty good for what it is. I'm not sure there's a bar in HCMC with the same Viet talent (though varies some from night to night).

Stopped in at a Spring Massage today. Followed advice of many on this forum visiting a Spring outside the city center. This one on the no. 2 metro line prior to Hongqiao airport. Then walked for a while.

Probably true you get more for your $ outside the center. Did 398 all included and was not pestered for tip. I like it that way. YMMV in each place. But I would say the Meridian massage (or oil massage for foreigners) includes he. No tip needed. But if you want them to touch them or do anything extra, then tips required.
