That's it, went back last night again, not as busy as Sunday night. Another very nice spot is "Duo" on the other end right before Pacos. Beautiful place, watched the game there last night. Someone put major money in this place but it's never crowded, probably because it's on the wrong end of El Conde. A little expensive also but the place is all class.

Had a wonderful day yesterday hanging with the expats at Chili's in blue mall. They have an outside lounge area with TVs and couches for us to watch the basketball finals. This is the hangout spot in Piantini. Guys if you want an upscale experience with gorgeous girls, go there. Dominicans here have money, so don't go there acting like a privileged American.

Segazona is on the end of el conde near the old Dennys. I'm hooked. A DJ playing house music and 2-4-1 drinks from 5 pm to 8 pm. The girls are friendly and having a good time. Guys you can easily pull from here if you aren't shy. Markell TV did a live video so if you want to see all the eye candy there go to his YouTube channel. I left about 9:30 PM and caught a uber back to Boca chica for 937 pesos. Normally that ride is 500-600 pesos but because it had gotten late there was a surcharge. Met three gorgeous girls separately at Segazona. One was a international business student almost 6 feet tall and spoke good English. The other girl was 24 yo with school teacher glasses so we traded wassap numbers. And the third girl was married and had no problem with me buying her a drink and enjoying her company. Returned a few days ago from 10 glorious days in Santo Domingo (and three in Santiago). This is my 9th trip there in four years. Stayed at Maison Gartreaux in Gascue, a two star with low price and nice staff. About a fifteen minute walk to Colonial Zone. Saw most of my regulars except the Venezuelan Vanilla flavored 36 DDD who has sadly disappeared. Maybe she went back to Venezuela with her new baby. Beautiful day in Boca Chica today and I had the pleasure of Hanging out with a couple friends from SD. Markel has a YouTube channel (Markel TV), and he did a live blog while we were hanging out in boca chica. Tony has a tour / security service in SD, so check the blog for his info. We called the owner of 317 and he is still putting together some last minute touches and I will report more after the weekend. We also had a couple female tourists from America who were first timers in the DR hanging out with us. Tony does security at club Sparta if anyone wants to meet him, we all are going there tonight. Club Sparta is located at Curchill and Sarasota across from the McDonald's. Very nice spot with indoor and outdoor seating and an American DJ. Hope to see you there.

Fresh off the news of rival American Airlines' huge Caribbean expansion, JetBlue has added another new nonstop route to the region. JetBlue has officially launched its newest daily nonstop flights, connecting Newark, New Jersey and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

The move strengthens JetBlue's position as the leading carrier to the Dominican Republic indeed, the carrier operates more daily flights to the country than any other airline. It's also another boost for what has become an important new destination for the Dominican Republic as it looks to expand tourism hubs beyond Punta Cana, part of a wider push to reach 10 million annual tourists by the year 2023.

Santo Domingo has become a hot urban destination, with existing hotels like the JW Marriott and the recently transformed El Embajador, and a fascinating Colonial Zone that has become a full-fledged destination in its own right.

JetBlue now operates four routes to the Caribbean out of Newark, including to Santiago, San Juan and Barbados. JetBlue serves Dominican airports including La Romana, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Santiago and Santo Domingo. The carrier is operating the new Santo Domingo flights on Airbus A320 aircraft with 150 seats.

Raining like crazy on Santo Domingo in the late evening. If you remember the old Baby dolls, which is now Oasis, the owner of the first Baby dolls and Wendy are opening a new spot called 317. The new spot is going to be two blocks from Oasis and 317 is the address. The owner is Dominican / American and speaks English. He is a 9 year US military vet.
