As I remember you got chokehold on Constitucion by 2 rateros at about 3 PM in broad daylight.

Naturally the crowd did not see anything, did not know what had happened, did not know any rateros. Case closed!

I will start carrying a throwaway wallet just to make sure.

As Captain Solo pointed out, Constitucion (and the side alleys) is a happy hunting ground for Banditos / Rateros. It is not enough to see who is behind you. The banditos stand in alleys and doorways then lunge out to get you by the neck and choke you out. This is why you walk in the street, to stay away from the doorways where they lurk waiting for prey. They work in teams. One to get you by the neck while the other trips you then searches you for your wallet. If you are going to walk on Constitucion, carry a throwaway wallet with expired credit cards, some coins, and a few dollar bills. The rateros will stop attacking you once they think they have your money. A throwaway wallet saved me from losing my credit cards, cash, driver's license and passport when I got jumped. Sore neck for 3 or 4 days though. None of the locals saw anything even though there was a big crowd standing around the bars and hotels there. The Tijuana policia canvassed them for witnesses. No locals will know anything when a tourist like you gets mugged. My guess is in Tijuana, snitches get stitches.

Thanks for the info. How are her performances these days? There has been some chatter that she doesn't give the world class BJ's that she used to. Multiple guys are reporting that she is not allowing facials, and even giving subpar BJ's. That she is citing either having to reapply her make-up, or claiming she has health issues to only give average BJ's.
