Sorry, but this is an exact example of why a lot of Thai chicks don't like Indian guys. I know you guys did give these Kenyan chicks extra money in the end though. But taking chicks back, then springing the "now fuck my friend too" on them gives you a bad reputation. Thousands of chicks in Pattaya, why do you have to fuck the same chick your friend brings for himself?

If you mean that every time 2 Indian guys bring 2 girls back for LT, one is asleep the whole time, so the guys try to get return on investment from the single girl actually working- and this is exactly why Thai girls don't like Indian guys, then on behalf of such Indians let me tell you we're fine, thank you.

You have indeed read posters here and you will occasionally read in the Bangkok thread that a punter "unwisely paid the mamasan the full amount in advance" in reference to Pattaya and/or Bangkok go-go bars. Speaking mostly for Bangkok since I rarely partake of Pattaya go-go bars anymore, I don't know of any Bangkok go-go bars where the so-called "official" method is to pay the mamasan the full amount agreed upon by the girl upfront instead of paying the girl directly afterwards. But it is definitely tried many, many times in the go-go bars here in Bangkok these days. It is up to the girl and the mamasan if they want to try to pull that little trick.

And it isn't just with newbies. In some cases, the mamasan will even have a handwritten post card size note with "ST = 3000, LT = 5000" prices written on it and then she'll stick out her palm as though everyone does it this way. LOL. You can assume at least 500 baht of that if not 1,000 baht of it will stay in that mamasan's pocket and the remainder going to the girl at some point. The girl might or might not be a pro-active participant in this little scam. It could be that she just doesn't want to rock the boat by cutting the mamasan out of the rewards for trying it. But if you politely refuse to be scammed this way, your girl will generally not fight on the mamasan's behalf. She'll just go with your decision. Generally. If my chosen girl ever did fight on the mamasan's behalf for such a thing, I would bail out of that deal asap. And probably out of that bar.

I just look at the paper or hear their little pitch about paying all of it "upfront", smile, shake my head no and then take that as my cue to wave off the mamasan, talk discretely with the girl about the money, how much I will pay her and for what, all subjects we might not have talked about at all had it not been for the mamasan interjecting her outstretched palm and that silly rate card. And I have never agreed to the amounts listed or mentioned by a mamasan just because she said so or because it was handwritten on a piece of paper.

To try to put a more benign face on this issue, perhaps some go-go bar mamasans do this at the girl's request because the girl just doesn't have the confidence or language skills to "negotiate" or merely ask for a certain amount of money for her time, it goes unsaid upfront or any other time and she has wound up getting 500 baht or some such nonsense from a few customers even after giving it her best. That is possible in some cases I suppose.

But, be warned, my fellow punters in Pattaya and Bangkok, there are forces at work trying to move the system into that horrid "pay upfront" model for go-go bars as well as other types of venues rather than put any effort into explaining, training and assuring the girls that they will rarely get a disgruntled customer refusing to pay an agreed upon rate after the deed is done IF they would just do their job better in the first place.

Went out after that for another smoke to find my friend having a beer, his lady asleep still. I described my experiences to him, so when he said he wanted to have a go with my lady I understood. A lady on ThaiFriendly intrigued me quite a bit, as her photo indicated she was African and not Thai. She replied with her Line ID, and on Line she confirmed she was Kenyan. Her photos on Line looked quite good, so I called her to the hotel for ST, 1200 Baht.

Lots of discos obviously targeting just Indians. An annoying byproduct of this- random Indian guys looking to get you into these clubs feel no compunction in physically stopping and trying to pull you into the clubs if you're Indian. They'll start speaking in Hindi, put their arms around you, and if you're from Delhi / Gurgaon etc. They seem to find nothing wrong in doing this. Obviously, you won't find them doing this to non-Indians,.

I am American and they do me the same way. Not really annoying to me because I am usually going there anyway. And I always bring ear plugs to the discos.

It seems you might misunderstood; Mr. E is refering to AC. That is Angeles City in the Philippines. So it is a different country with a different system of payment. The most important difference beeing that the girls fee is included in the "barfine" in AC. The problem in AC is actually to get the girls to leave! Most of them are desperately looking for a guy for boyfriend / sponsor. Very different from the Thai girls who are more "business oriented" in my experience. Runners are everywhere; it is part of the monger experience and can have many reasons. In Pattaya one girl dissappeared after I had barfined her and on the way to hotel after she reveived a call. Maybe from a regular or a boyfriend. Some others tell you they need to go pick up something from their apartment and will come back. They never do. Some time the chemistry is just not there or the girl do not like you, so she will make up excuses to leave. Popular girls can pick and choose so they will find ways to escape if they want to. If it is really bad you should report it to the mamasan, but do not expect something will be done about it. General rule in Thailand; never pay upfront. It is understood by most.

After 15 years of coming to Pattaya I have never experienced anything like this before. Normally when things are not working out the girl is nice about it and I wind up giving her the agreed upon price. But for some stupid reason this time mainly because of her crappy attitude I decide to stand up. Well in the end she won she got her money. I wish I had taken a picture of her so I could attach it for all you to see and be on the watch for this bad performer.

I had a similar experience to that in Bangkok. It didn't turn violent as I gave in. It happened again from a What's Up girl in Pattaya, where I had unwisely paid the mamasan the full amount in advance, thus losing any and all bargaining power (sorry Mr. E. bad thing to do). I mean, this girl simply got up to take a shower and leave when I pulled out change position, then acted like nothing was wrong when I saw her a few days later! She had her money so there was nothing I could do. Lesson: Even with an agogo, don't agree to give the mamasan the girl's pay. Claim you don't have it all or only pay half.

So what do do in these situations? Probably you should just pay up, which would be less expensive than replacing a TV she busted or the hospital bill if she karate-chops you in the balls. If the club is still open, maybe say you will take her back to the club to speak with the mamasan. That will only work if you can get her out of the room. If the club is closed, it might only work if she knows you are friendly with the mamasan. Mr. E has a good idea to only give money outside the room. That may mean telling her you will walk her down to the front desk and pay her there. Of course, you only need to do this if the girl is screwing you over, and many girls, knowing what you are planning, my balk. Once they leave the room, THEY lose a lot of power. I like to hear when a guy picks the girl up and tosses her out, but not all of us are that strong!

Ideally, we would all find a way to avoid paying these girls, as if they get away with it with you, they will try with others. But really, the simplest thing is to give in and pay, then post the girl's name and her club her so maybe we can avoid her. You should also complain to the club. They may not force the girl to give a refund, but if you say you will spread the word online and if enough guys complain, they may fire her. Of course, the girl will go to another club and start it all over again.

Bottom line, it happens, but fortunately not all that often. Most of these girls really do try to please, so those who try to rip you off is just part of the overhead costs.

Day 3, 19th May: Trip report of my visit to Bangkok-Pattaya, 17th-20th May. Went with a friend, both of us 31 year old Indians.

Day 2, 18th May: Trip report of my visit to Bangkok-Pattaya, 17th-20th May. Went with a friend, both of us 31 year old Indians.

We had grand plans of checking out a gentlemen's club or two, and a BJ bar or two. Instead, we knocked down pints of beer till noon. Got in touch with the Kenyan sisters (see Day 1 report) on Line. They were free so they came over to the hotel. When they arrived, my friend preferred the taller sister I'the been with the day before, so I took the shorter sister. In the weeks leading to our arrival, I made an account on ThaiFriendly and began looking for the online ladies at various times of the day, adding those I liked to my list of favourites. In the few days leading up to my arrival, I changed my location to Pattaya and began messaging the ones I liked with this- "Hi, I am in Pattaya and I would like to meet you. Can I please have your Line ID?" I figured this was the best way to engage with the interested ones, because without a paid membership ThaiFriendly allows you to send 1 message per 10 minutes. The interested ones would reply with a Line ID, where I could communicate with them freely, ask for charges, services and set things up if needed.

By the time I landed in Bangkok morning of 17th, I already had a few Line IDs. My friend landed a couple of hours before me, and we took the 11 AM bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya, checking into Hotel Zing by around 2 PM. I quite liked the hotel, provided one knows what one's paying for. I'll put up a review of the place on the Pattaya Hotels forum. After checking in, the friend and I seemed to have different priorities. I wanted to get the first fuck out of the way, he wanted a couple of beers to soak in the place first. We had the beers and proceeded to check out the soapies. Honey 2's collection was nothing compelling, same for Sabai Dee. Another walk along the Street, we saw a couple of good looking ladies but still not really looking to engage with any one. Then a walk down Beach Road, taking in the range available. By now we were both tired and had quite a few beers in us. We knew that we'the get a quick fuck in at the most, and would probably be too tired for anything else.
