Bardot.

For those of you who don't know and can't be bothered to RTFF (it is not exactly long) Bardot is a bar / restaurant on the top floor of the Double Tree Hilton. From 11 pm onwards and especially on Fridays and Saturdays it attracts a steady flow of Minsk's working girls who congregate at the bar and wait for some foreigner to buy them a cocktail and more. What follows is an account of my encounters with two such ladies and my thoughts on the lessons to be learned.

We met in BarDot at the Hilton one Sunday night. I was actually there for a quiet drink with no particular expectations indeed the place was practically deserted. Sitting at the bar sipping my vodka martini (well you have to) I suddenly saw this winsome gorgeous blond walk in. I guess she was aged around 25. My jaw literally dropped and I found myself involuntarily uttering the words "well Hello," (apologies to the late Terry Thomas). She stopped surveyed the room for a fleeting second and, deciding that I was the best option, sat down just one bar stool away from me and lit up an improbably thin cigarette. I lean over and asked her if she'd give me one of her fags if I bought her a drink (I don't really smoke) and she immediately accepted my proposal and invited me to sit next to her. An easy conversation followed as her English was excellent and we discussed Paris, Tokyo and Dubai; she was a well travelled lady and had the Chanel bag to prove it. Five minutes into our chat she asked me the question which many / most P4P ladies ask: "what are you doing later this evening?" I replied that I was hoping we would go back to my room and would $200 be sufficient as it was all I had left. She smiled and nodded ever so slightly.

Back at my room her performance was nowhere near as good as her lingerie. After Alyssa had left me I made my way up to Bardot for a drink and I suppose to check out the talent. We said nothing on the way down but as the doors opened she seemed to hesitate between leaving and going back up. She did not respond and I strolled out thinking that was that and got into a taxi only to have her jump in beside me. We introduce ourselves in the car and on arrival I told her to take my arm as I was going to book a table and she would get in for free. She duly complied and we were soon ensconced on a sofa trying to drink our way through a bottle of Jack Daniels (the cost of the table). Close up Minnie was as beautiful as I first thought. Late 20's certainly but with big come to me eyes and a wide open smile. The contrast with Alyssa could not have been greater.

We drank, danced (in my case badly) and cuddled. We were soon completely drunk. That night Black House was teaming with young girls who for some reason heavily outnumbered the usual contingent of Turks and rich Russians. Appraised of the situation Minnie insisted on accompanying me whenever I visited the lavatories just to make sure that I did not stray. Several fun filled hours passed before I decided that we had better leave while we could still walk. We staggered out and into a cab Minnie clutching what remained of our bottle of JD. Once in the car she passed out and I had to practically carry her into the hotel where fortunately she recovered enough to handover her passport and register for the night. What then followed was fun, frantic sex that loss none of its passion for the fact that it was covered.

Minnie left me early the next morning without having once asked me for money. I had of course put $200 in her bag but I am not sure that she realised that until much later. We met the following day when the sex was even better and unprotected. Minnie is now going to be one of my regulars indeed I would have happily spent the rest of the weekend with her but had already committed this time to Xandy (see previous posts).

Conclusions.

I set out the above in the hope that those who have taken the trouble to read it (thank you) will benefit from my experiences. Pass on the girls with the Gucci handbags who inform you that they have just got back from Dubai because the experience will be an entirely plastic one. Look for the semi-pros that might actually like you and are hoping for a fun night out as well as for a bit of extra money. In Minsk it is still possible to find these gems and that is what distinguishes it from Kiev and makes it my favourite mongering destination.

I'm going to visit Minsk from July 20 to July 22. Already booked apartments, because I think it would be easier to invite girls there. Is it a big chance to meet a couple of semi-pros in one of the night club? I have a lot of practice of meeting with usual girls in Russian cities for a small amount of money for great evening. There are no hard and fast rules in Minsk because the scene is so small and in some respects unprofessional. $200 is just a guide but a girl would have to be at least a 9 for you to pay more than that. For the semi-pros $200 is almost a month's salary so there going to think long and hard before turning it down. Don't forget if you pay an escort this sum she's got to pay between a third and a half if it to her agency or pimp so taking home $200 is a bid deal for a semi pros in Belarus.

How long a lady stays with you depends on a whole variety of factors from whether she enjoys your company to whether she's got to get back to a young child or get up early in the morning to get to work. If her air conditioning has packed up and you've got a nice room then she might well stay with you for the shear convenience of the thing even if she really disliked you.

My advice is to treat the evening as an introduction. She's interviewing you just as much as you her. If you click and she leaves at 2.30 but also gives you her number then you could quickly find yourself with a new girlfriend who let's you enjoy all three of her holes within a few dates for a fraction of what you paid the first time. That is the thing about Minsk, few or the girls are hardcore escorts. Furthermore they can travel so even if you don't go to Minsk that often you could always invite her on holiday when, trust me, she'll give you the full porn star experience.

As the girls don't distinguish between dollars and euros you're better of paying in dollars because it's slightly cheaper. In fact the local currency would probably be accepted because it seems to be trusted and no because there is no such thing as "hard currency" in the shops.

So far as I can see Rich Cat and Black House are dead in terms of mongering other than on Friday and Saturday night. I went to Black House on a Sunday night once and discovered it was like a private members club for all the hookers and semi-pros who were enjoying a night off. I saw two former conquests there and trust me it was acutely embarrassing. I never felt so unwanted in all my life.

So yes Fridays and Saturdays are best but don't treat the thing as if it were a retail experience. Dress to impress and be charming with all the ladies you encounter. If she likes you she'll drop her prices as well as her nickers BUT treat her with respect. Not being Turkish with all that entails is your best asset (apologies to those sharp dressed Turkish gentlemen who put the rest of their countrymen to shame).

I think you have to decide what you're looking for. The Hilton is top end and some of the girls at BarDot are true 9's and even 10's but expect to pay $200 plus for a totally covered experience. I met a really classy girl there last weekend who I am hoping to open up on future meetings having taken her number. She had just the most beautiful body but the service was wholly vanilla.

Also bear in mind that the choice can be quite limited as BarDot is not that big. On most nights the competition is also small but sometimes you can get a lot of blokes in the bar and only a handful of girls.

I've never been to the Crowne Plaza / Next but am told it is full of Turks and that the girls are more down market. The advice I received from a guy who appeared to be a seasoned campaigner was to avoid it but it's quite clear from reading previous posts that others have had good experiences..

Sgt Boyle thanks for the info. It tempers my expectations a bit. I already opted for the Hilton. As I'm just there 1 night, it's not like I can work a girl over a series of dates, I'm more for going for the sure thing.

I'm OK with the Hilton, so it's more down to having the clubs ready to go. As it's during the World Cup, there could be a lot more girls looking to make some extra money but also a lot more customers.

I've narrowed it down to 2 choices: (1) Hilton Doubletree with the BAR: DOT XX1, or the Crown Plaza with the Next Nightclub. The Doubletree is a bit more expensive at US $150 to US $116, but for one night it's more important to get the best place.

It seems convenient to meet someone in the club in the hotel and then go straight off to the room, instead of having to get a taxi, get past the front desk, etc. But also there's the added security by having your guest register at the front desk too..
