They're not terrible. There the ones south El Poblado (Casino San Fernando, Casino Medellin etc.) are alright but they are not giant casinos. 3-5 tables, with usually 2 tables of blackjack. I know Casino Medellin sometimes has parties at night and chicas come out but only because a chica I know went. It was some anniversary for the casino.

Don't expect to pick up hookers in casinos. I didn't see any.

I've been to Kiev and Medellin. Generally I can say that girls in Kiev have a little bit more class compared to Medellin. But Medellin's WG are cheaper and more fun compared to Kiev.

BTW, I always felt save in Medellin, if you are streetswise you can have lots of fun in Columbia.

Yes, you should be aware of your risks. However, most data on the ORAL transmission of STDs indicates that the risk is on the receiving end of a penis. You will be close to the casas and strip clubs, but since you don't like those, what kind of action would you be looking for? I am headed back down in about 5 weeks. 30 days tops is all you need cupid for. Any longer than that, it is too much work to keep their interest. I have had several numbers from cupid girls. I contact total strangers, or they contact be. It all started with one lady I knew. I look at who makes comments to the FB ladies whom I have friended, and send a friend request if she looks good. I've learned one precaution, be wary of ladies whose only photos are selfies taken from above their head. I've encountered a few that are larger than they appear, and a couple with very short legs.
