Actually the prices discussed are pretty much on par, I've played with some friends who regularly meet with those type of girls in Jakarta. They got a few "mami's" who introduce them to a regular flow of Popular and FHM girls, prices usually 4-8 jt for an evening / night. In my opinion worth it considering the quality of the girls, but unfortunately often it is a hit or miss with attitude. A lot of them look amazing but are incredibly stuck-up. What we usually do is that we book double the amount of girls vs guys, so if there's 4 guys we'll book 8 girls to accompany us for the night, that's usually 1. 5-2 jt per girl, from there we all go out and see who has the best attitude, and those are the ones that get taken back to the hotel. Thing is you can get lucky and get the same girl from CJ's for less if they're having an off month.

It has happened that we've asked the girls to leave after 30 minutes / an hour or so, no payment required, as their attitude was just unbelievable bitchy.

I'm happy that your girl turned out to be cool, it's usually a 50/50, your pricing considering the out of country travel is pretty much market rate.

I'm like you, I refer back to the US market, but only when I find myself being too cheap for my own good. Like many mongers, I'm often out searching for the best price, which somehow means the lowest price. However, I don't necessarily know if it requires 'deep pockets,' so to speak, to book these girls. We already know that locals pay 2 juta for an imported girl at Malioboro for a mere hour of service. Using Malio as a reference, spending 5-10 juta for a day of service with a local girl, who is beautiful enough to be featured in POPULAR Indonesia, FHM, MALE, etc, isn't that expensive. The ability to pre-screen girls by watching their posts on IG, seeing their portfolio of work online, and possibly meeting them at a photo hunt, is an added benefit. I just wish that I was based in Jakarta or could visit more often to really implement this strategy.

Unfortunately, you can't compare Indonesia to the US. If you do, every transaction you ever make will seem great. The comparisons need to be restricted to Indonesian girls found in Indonesia.

For 1000 SGD for a day (plus airfare), that girl better be special. I'd be curious to see a foto. For sure it is not value for money, but I can understand if the girl is "a fantasy girl". I would have gladly flown a certain Indo celebrity who is now deceased into Singapore for that much in her prime. It would be ok for a one time deal. I don't even visit places like Fable, Lucy in the Sky, or those other places near Pacific Place. It's too hard to pick girls up at those spots. The local dudes who visit those places are younger than me and many have more money than I do, so I have no advantage. I prefer to stick to lower hanging fruit.

You are right, it is probably not a good comparison to use US prices as the benchmark. Unfortunately, US girls also cost the most compared to the rest of the world, maybe with the exception of London. I can only draw from my experience for value judgment. However as a consolation, my experiences with them have always been great. In a way, they do have to provide good services, since these agencies do depend on repeat businesses and their client pool is much smaller.
