Posts: 280We've PMed on this. My contact for you didn't like the offer if the Rex, but if you can more or less guarantee it with management it should be fine.
I usually stay LE Meridien, with my points status. They're cool as long as it's a guest and not an vernight. The dreaded 10 pm call has caught me more than once mid coitus, but as long as I say "yes, of course, she'll be done shortly" they've been fine.

Posts: 6387Are most of the hotels on Bui Vien Street girl friendly? Anyone have any issues at Meraki Boutique Hotel or Meraki Hotel on Bui Vien? Are the rooms clean?
Can I assume Pullman is not a girl friendly hotel?

Hey guys,
Long time lurker.
Hoping to go to HCMC in March for a bit of travel and adventure, and of course, get laid.
Does anyone have experiences with Air bnb bookings and bringing girls back? I see there is a lot of really nice apartments etc that are cheap.

Hello.
Quick update. A friend of mine PM me that the Tex hotel may suit my preferences. I called them up and was very clear that I will be bringing in different ladies on different nights of my stay and asked them if they have a problem. The lady was a bit shy to respond and transferred the call to her supervisor. To cut the story short. It's green as long as you book the room for 2 persons. The lady will have to produce her ID at reception when she wants to be with me.
Kool. Now with the room sorted I am looking for leads on some semi pro or part time girls. Which is the best place to find them. I hate tinder as it links up Facebook.
Any other ideas would help.
I arrive on the 10 of March for a week.

Posts: 122A & M Hotel LE Thanh Ton.
Last year, I stayed at this hotel for a week. Clean with a good breakfast in a great location near many sights and the market. There are 4 or 5 A & M hotels so not sure about each hotels policy. I brought numerous girls here with no problems. After, I took a few girls back to the room, the bellman suggested that he supply me a lady. Ok, how much? A million. Bring her on! About 15 minutes later a plainly dressed late 20 something homely lady appeared. I swallowed my pride and and did my duty. She kept her part of the deal but it was less than exciting or appealing. I am better off doing my own arranging.
A & M hotel 150 LE Thanh Ton Hotel.
$34.
Have fun!!

Posts: 3604-5 Star hotel recommendations please
Greeting.
I will be in HCMC in Mar 2019 on a short business trip. I have read several pages back and am keen to hear from you seniors on girl friendly 4-5 star hotels. As I will be on work it needs to be passable as a good business class hotel. My client recommended the Harmony hotel and spa but when I called them up they said even though you book a room for 2 persons, they will charge guest fee of usd 20 per girl if she was to stay with me per night in case she doesn't check in with me.
Can you guys recommend an alternative hotel that is equally good.
Thanks a lot.
Regards.
G.

Safety is another consideration. The police in D1 are more diligent due to many high ranking officials live and work in D1. There are also many more cameras installed in D1 than in D10 (as if you really want to know) so the pickpockets and purse-snatchers usually avoid D1, not so in D10.
D10 is mostly for local mongers. If you don't speak Vietnamese or NOT familiar with the locals, just go for short visit. Most of the girls in D10 also don't speak English. Thus, they cater to local punters, and their price is a bit lower due to clientele.
English is hard to come by in D10 since pretty girls with good English are actively recruited by pimps to go to Singapore and Dubai where they can make more money.
Enjoy Vietnam.

For those interested in Airbnb. Rivergate apartments in D4 (10 minutes walk across the bridge from PNL).
Had no issues there, brand new apartment block, lots of apartment choice from different providers on Airbnb.
Around $35-50/ night for 1 br.
They have security there but was no issues bringing a girl back, didn't even have to go through the registration BS.
Didn't try at day time, but after 5 pm the reception is just manned by 1 guy.

A quick google maps search will show you the distance between the 2 areas. If you want to be most of the action, stay in D1.
Eden garden kinda sucks IMO, even for just 2 days. Choose another one nearby. I stayed there for a couple of days last year, and ended up checking out and going to a better hotel for the same price.

Posts: 104Ruby River in D1 verified not GF
Had to cancel my reservation after I read on the reservation email that couples with no marriage certificate may not stay overnight. Asked my local Tango connection to call and verify. Shy verified no overnight for her. Cancelled reservation.
Have fun.

Moto taxis to District 10 cost on average around 1 USD per trip. Use the Grab or Uber bikes. Transportation is much better than Thailand or PI.
Only problem is the pollution. Partying is only really good around the backpacker area.

Posts: 765Stay in District 10 or District 1
Been reading many pages, especially posts LukeSkywalker and NguyetLang. HCM is going to be a stop over for me after visiting the Nang and Nha Trang for 8 days. Have to come to HCM to catch my flight to Phillipines (last country after Thailand and Vietnam). May just stay 2 nights in HCM and HCM may be just fuck destination than sight seeing unless others suggest to extend by another day or two in HCM for some sight seeing in HCM as I am here.
Reading the posts, experts have stated that girls in District 1 are hoes and not desirable. Better finds in District 10. Hence where to stay (a 3 star hotel will do) for a short time, just a few days, District 10, District1 or elsewhere not too far from action? I have always believed to stay in the eye of the hurricane, why waste time on taxi rides.
Also, is District 10 the same as backpackers area for girls or different? Reason I say is that the girly places stay open till late in the backpackers area.
Eden Garden Hotel (back packer area between Bui Vien and Pham Ngu Lau streets) been mentioned.
