Was staying at the Westin Lima. Didn't get charged a "joiner fee" because I preempted it by indicating I'd have two guests in the room which was an additional $15 on the room charge but doesn't show up as a separate line item. One thing about Peru that is different from monger places such as the ones you mention is that people have shit to do during the day time (and maybe even at night too.) They are not just sitting around. If they are not working then they are in school, and in many cases they are doing both. So if you are only looking for one girl to spend time with, keep in mind that you may only be spending time with her a couple of hours per night. On my second trip TR seemed to have gone far downhill, and I thought Lions Spa was closed (has it reopened now?) so for the hell of it I checked out Las Cucardas and Trocadero. The latter was certainly an interesting experience..

Lion's Spa is open and in business, but the quality of the girls and the sauna facilities themselves are down; you can go and check for yourself, it is cheap and not absolutely bad, just not as good as it was back in 2010 and by far.

If you liked Lion's Spa, I'd recommend you to go to Cavin Spa instead (https://www.facebook.com/Cavinspa/); it is an older hotel-sauna-spa but the entire facility has been recently refurbished and looks as new and, right now, has the second-best staff of girls in the sauna business in Lima. The entrance fee and the girl's fees are roughly the same as Lion's.

The absolute best sauna spa in Lima and the one with, reportedly, the best girls is, of course, Smik Spa (http://smikspa.com.pe), but the entrance fee is almost three times that of the Lion's or the Cavin and the girls, who charge half again as much as the girls at Lion's or Cavin, are kept out of sight, only available to known customers or new customers accompanied by a known customer (I'm afraid I am not a "known customer" so I cannot help you there); of course the facilities, including its four-forks restaurant, are (IMHO) three times better that those of the Lion's or the Cavin (I've been there occasionally) but, Are the girls half again as much better? That remains to be seen.

Pros and semi-pros cover a really wide price range, mostly depending on their looks, social extraction and English skills. The cheapest are the pros found in brothels, like Trocadero, in the 10 dollars range or the somewhat more upscale brothels like Las Cucardas in the 25 dollars range. Then there are the pros found in advertising websites like KinesTops, Placeresdelperu, Amorosasdelperu, Photokinesiologas and the like, ranging from 50 to 150 dollars for an outcall. The problem with brothels and advertising websites is that you need some basic Spanish skills or a Spanish-speaking wingman. You might have luck in Tekila Rock or Sabor Peruano in Miraflores and pick-up an English-speaking girl after midnight, that would be in the 100-150 dollars range.

If you go looking for a semi-pro, a good looking, educated, semi-pro with basic or moderate English skills, would charge me 80 dollars average, but will charge you 100 dollars average (gringo tax, you know). Add to that, some 20 soles for her taxi and, probably, a 50-100 soles tip or a present (believe me, you WILL feel generous once she's done with you). The problem with semi-pros is finding them; most if not all of the girls I am currently dating are semi-pros, but they were introduced to me by a friend who is or was dating her himself and they tend to be somewhat distrustful when it comes to dating strangers.
