I went to Baccara this month and was told I had to buy a drink before entering. Not sure if that applies to everyone or only to 'certain identifiable groups'. But I would have bought a drink anyway. I didn't get any kind of "members only" story.

BTW, I'm the same guy who was told to pay 500 THB to enter Crazy House, and I'm 100% sure it was due to having the wrong skin colour. This matches many other identical reports on Google Maps Reviews.

When I went to Baccara last time it was packed with Japanese and East Asians. They asked me to pay for drink before. I know that once inside you will not get much attention from girls or waitresses. I enjoy this kind of challenge. I ordered half bottle of vodka, gave nice tip to the girls. There were couple of girls siting nearby looking for customers. I told waitress that I will pay for their next drink. Now the GoGo girls started giving me attention, service was quick with smiles. I won that round over Japanese. I did not take any girl.

It is not that you have to show-off but it is important that in such places you must not look like cheap Charlie and spend reasonable amount of money.

She might take your number or give out hers if you live in Bangkok and might become a regular client in the slow season. You'll always meet these girls from these clubs outside the bar.

From memory, which can be cloudy, none where that more attractive then at any of the other agogos in NEP. I forget the name of the agogo but ended up with a 20 yo uni student with a slim body that I like for 3000 LT and she let me be. Be.

The Baccara girls in Bangkok are like that whether you are Asian or Farang. Only very few make eye contact from the stage. Most wait for the guy to choose them. Someone mentioned it's the submissiveness trait that Japanese men prefer.

They don't care about guys walking in and out. They care about the guy who goes in and sits there all night and orders nothing.

It's fairly difficult for anyone to sit in a gogo bar for long without having to order a first drink. After that they can milk the drink as long as they want. Never seen a gogo bar forcing someone to order a second drink, at least in Pattaya.

Maybe you should walk down Sukhumvit and kick every Indian guy you see in the nuts and say "have some manners and don't be so cheap". If enough fellow Indians do that, the problem will likely go away.

For Baccara it's quite simple. I'm not sure why guys still make confused assumptions about this place. I've been there over 1000 times in 4 years and barfined over 60 girls there and this is best advice you will get. By the way, there are other Asians besides Japanese that frequent this bar. So calling it Japanese only or Japanese preferred is incorrect. Baccara makes most of its money off barfined girls, sex, and the owner's short time hotel across the way. So they want customers who drink and pay for sex. Those are the clients they prefer. Those who come to only drink and try to grope on girls will get spotlighted quick. Girls want to get paid their 3000-10000 baht, not 50 baht per drink.

1. Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Taiwanese, Hong Kong or anyone who looks East Asian (non Indian) generally have no problem getting entry.

2. White westerners generally have no problem getting entry.

3. Any race where they bring a girlfriend or a girl along will have to buy a drink before entry. Baccara is a barfine club. Not a show.

4. Any race when it's full and you are not a regular will have to buy a drink before entry. When it's full, they don't want people walk in and look around and walk out. Usually around 10-10:30 is peak time.

5. If you have a history of coming and not barfining, at peak times you will be asked to buy your drink before entry.

6. Indians need to come early and with above groups #1 or #2 or may be denied entry. 7:30 they open and are empty. Better chance to get in. Indians or Middle Eastern looking guys coming alone or in a group will probably be denied.

7. Black westerners generally have no problem getting entry.

Here is a hint: If you are allowed entry even if it's requires buying a drink outside first. Do so. Then buy a drink and make friends with the bald headed fat white guy who walks with a cane and sits at the door. His name is Sam I think. He will remember you and you will never have any issues getting in again. I've been able to get in at anytime, accompanied by any race, and even with other girls. And this is without having to buy drinks before entry.

They started asking most non Jap clients to buy drinks before entering somewhere in 2016. However in early 2018 I was shocked when they pulled members only BS on me. I have read few more reports of this happening now a days. Looks like they are becoming the next CH or Rainbow 1.

I do agree Baccara used to be a racist club until end of 2016, but looks like they have changed their attitude towards customers. However, we also can't rule out the fact that it's low season and they might have opened their doors to anyone looking wealthy. You had fun that's what matters the most. Good luck!

After a hectic business trip, had taken 4 nights out to monger in Thailand. My friend wanted to stay all the 4 nights in bkk but I prefer patts so 3 nights in patts 1 night in bkk. Hav not started writing patts report hopefully will do t soon.

So we booked our room in soi 11. I had last visited thailand almost 12 months back. Soi 11 was much more energetic then, its all dead now what with climax shut. Anyhow we checkedin around 3 pm from patts. Took a nap showered and headed out around 8 to nep.

NEP was different way different then what I had encountered before. For one I was welcomed with open arms no only members shit, no buy drink first BS. We sat on a open sports bar opposite to the entrance had our customary beers and food and planned our next move. Paid our tabs and moved on to spankys. I remember having visited this place and it was the same like last time, lots f cute spinners and the dance floor gyrating topless, We ordered our drink. I saw a cute 22- 24 yr old on the dance floor I distinctly remembered her smile. Was about to call mamasan for her when another gentleman sitting on the opp side got to her first. Well finders keepers. Anyhow my friend had to go back to his room as he was expecting some important emails. Off he went I was alone. Came out of nep, Came to the main road crossed the signal and went to Grace Hotel. Now Grace hotel has a charm of its own. Brilliant building but what was more brilliant was there were some middle east ladies with their hijaab on standing on the pathway. I was intrigued I always had this on my bucket list and just couldn wait to strike t down. Saw a cutie grinned at her she came to me we spoke and off we went to a short time hotel somewhere nearby. (my hotel was nearby but the night was still young coudn risk a LT scenario). It was awesome seeing the cutie undress. Perfect tities, shapely ass and a navel to die for, yes I have a navel fetish. Anyhow Lots of licking sucking and fucking on the questionable bed occured, we lied satitated..

If anybody mongers long enough they are going to encounter the chic / lady boy bait and switch every few years. This can happen anywhere in the world. I have had it happen twice.

First time it was a tense stand off where I had I was visiting what I thought was a female escort in London, turned out to be a ladyboy and the fucker locked the door upon entry so I couldn't get out. It was really sketchy because I could hear someone else in the second room of the apartment, so was thinking pimp or second ladyboy in there. Not an ideal situation. I called the Police and had them on speaker, once she / he heard the police voice ran quickly to the door and unlocked it. I left, told the police I am good and hung up. Threw the prepaid phone out within hours and was out of the country a few days later. Dodged a bullet on that one.

The second was in Australia. Virtually the same thing happened but because I had been through it before was much more relaxed. I very calmly said "for fuck sake you wasted my time in driving over here, now I am going to have to find something else etc". Because I was so matter of fact and pretty clearly not going to put up with any shit the Ladyboy just opened the door where I continued to mutter and swear all the way out into the corridor. The ladyboy even tried to make me be quiet in the corridor to which I just continued with my matter of fact rant about how this was bullshit and a waste of my time etc all the time moving quickly towards the car. I find this works now in most situations, once they smell fear or you hesitate the chances of getting proper fucked go up for every minute you are still in the shitty situation..

She first asked me money telling she knows someone in police and would call. When I said go ahead she was numb, all the time I was trying to be polite. But when she wouldn't leave and start attacking what choice do we have left! Even while leaving the room she tried taking a photo of me. I was lucky to have all my valuables locked up in the locker otherwise you can't be sure she leaving with one of your items. However, it's always better to ask them upfront and ask the hotel reception to check their ID if you are in Thailand.
