Guys, do not waste your precious time on ground transportation. A flight is less than 1 hour, and yes, Bangkok Air can cost a lot, but check smaller airlines--Bassaka, Cambodia Airways, Cambodia Angkor Air, Cambodia Bayon Airlines, Sky Angkor, and I'm sure I've missed a few others. I flew there for $40-50 OW.

Awesome. Will do the online Visa. Is happy pizza / happy food as prevalent in siem reap / sihanoukville as Phnom Penh?

The best way is to get the online Visa before. Less hassle and also cheaper and you don't have to stay on queue at the airport.

You can go by bus to Siem reap. The tuk tuk drivers will Catch you there.

Yeah I was thinking about flying given I have limited time. Aslo, I noticed Sihanoukville and Siem reap don't have maps on here like Phnom Penh. If anyone has one to share that would be awesome. Looking at the Sihanoukville thread, it seems to be dead there. But the beach sounds attractive. Anyways looking forward to my trip and potentially partying with some fellow mongers. I don't know if you've ever arrived at the Phnom Penh airport from another country. But the best way to describe the entry process involving the visa on arrival is a bit chaotic and inefficient in my opinion. The last 2 times I've arrived internationally, I have used the online visa service on the official government site. It costs a few dollar more, but worth it (again, in my opinion). You go straight to the desks where passports are stamped in. Get your checked bag. And go. You bypass all of the crowd still waiting for their visa on arrival when you exit the hall. Just make doubly sure you are using the Official government visa website, as there are a number of services / re-sellers of the same visa. I got my online visas by email within 24 hours; printed them out; and presented them to immigration with my passport and landing card.

My Cambodian friends who travel between PP and SR usually take a "VIP" mini-van. It's faster than the bus and only about $10 US. I've never gone overland. Only flown between the 2 places. Tuk tuk? LOL Even if I could get a driver to do that trip, you couldn't pay me enough to do that. Consider the potential of a serious accident, the snail's pace, heat, and grime. No thank you. Ha ha ha.

That may be true, but no one is interested in what happened 10,15, 20 years ago. What people are interested in is what is happening now.

Sure, if you are a resident, there are some advantages you can enjoy over 1 week tourists, like.

1. You probably speak the language.

2. You have no time pressure to pick a girl. If not today, tomorrow, else day after and so on.

3. You have already built up a list of viable options.

4. People in town get to know you and that can have some benefits (or not depending on the reputation you build).

That said, I want to see if anyone walk into Darlin Darlin and pick a girl for under $100. You may argue the girls are not worth that price, that is another subject.

I visited Phnom Pneh last week after 3 years. It is still the same story on 136 street or 140 street. If someone wants to pay 3.5 usd just for chit chat or pay for company to play pool. There are massages, the ones with Uniform will not entertain extras. I went to a massage near the 136 street where it was mentioned usd 3 for casual massage. Before entering I told offered her 5 USD for HJ and she agreed.

Having said there the best place to pick up is at Darlin Darlin at Naga hotel with good music and more than 30 to 40 very beautiful girls. The second place I recommend is Sharkys, they too have some good choices. If you plan to go to Ho Chi Minh by bus, I suggest Mekong express, they have good bus service with just 20 USD approx. Cost and they will do all your visa process if you have the original visa letter for Vietnam.

I spent 5 days in PP and stayed at Okay boutique. It was a great stay and hotel was perfectly girl friendly.

Rose bar: I had picked two girls from here. One on the first day. She said she was around 25 and had a great body. Stayed till 11 am. Was wonderful company and two slices of beef steak I got her for dinner must have had something to do with it. She was really hungry and almost finished the first serving before my food was served. 70 $ LT and 35 $ dinner. I know its a new place, new building. But I kinda of like the old one. I like the sleaziness and the mature women who were there. I'm wondering if those girls are still there or is it cleaned up?

I was there last week. They made the place huge with a lot of small bar blocks inside. I think 90% is not occupied so it's a boring place now. No more pool tables and TV screens. Just a few FL girl at the bars on the street side.

The different brands are displayed much like packs of gum so easy to read the labels. I think the name of the store is "Neil's" and might be next door to the "69 bar".

That is good to know. Never needed any supplements till date, but good information for future reference. I have bought stuff like ice, beer, chips, soft drinks, etc from Neil's but never once noticed that they sell "vitamins".
