Just wanted to make sure if I am in transit through Shanghai that I do not need a tourist visa to enter. I have read on multiple sites tourist visa is only necessary if you are staying greater than 24 hrs. Just wanted to confirm this is true.

You can get entry without a visa subject to certain rules, best to read about this on an official site as the rules can change quickly.

In a nutshell, must be from one of the eligible countries as listed, must hold an onward ticket from the same airport to a foreign destination, can only travel in a certain area in / around Shanghai. Entry without visa can be for up to 144 hours in some cases.

Just make sure you allow time firstly to get through the line for the visa exemption process to catch your onward flight. Some research on travel to and from the airport and where to go for service will help maximise your hunting time.

If already hold a China visa and you are going from Shanghai to another city in China you can clear immigration and customs.

When I bring up these good deals to show anything can happen, I was getting a lot of crap. One guy in particular saying things like. She can't be pretty, she must be old, you didn't pay that. Etc. Etc. But why do I need to lie to a bunch of faceless screen names? I didn't bother putting that in my last post. I was told by a local that 800 short time is possible almost all girls. (about 18 months ago). this is not what i have found , maybe i am too easy.

Keep in mind, the lower you go the more resentful the girl could be. This is a transaction where you want the girl happy. I have found way overpaying doesn't help however. . Keep it fair, don't be a pushover.

There is also a piece of this that is personal. Some girls will go with certain races but don't want to. They tend to charge more for them. I am not saying its right. Second, I noticed that the prices at Judy's were cheaper. Last night, Friday Night, I got an initial offer for a 6 & 7 together for 1500 rmb. I wasn't interested as I had my eyes on someone else but I could have easily negotiated that down to 1100-1200, for 2 girls!. I took a hottie 8-9 for 800, unlimited pops, came 3 times.

Yes, I have gotten better prices and my standard negotiations has always been a target of 1000/2 pops. If I want the girl and can't get the price, I will pay more. I have only paid 1500 once when I was brand new to this 5 years ago and it was for an overnight. I negotiate the pops before I leave the bar. It scares some girls away but I'm not left wanting. If I don't want or can't do 2 pops, well they win. I have seen guys get 5-6's for 600-800 RMB. I have landed a solid 8 (that banged like a 9) for 800. I point this out only to say there is a lot that goes into what you pay. That is why being nice and OCCASIONALLY being the guy willing to buy a drink doesn't hurt. If you are of that particular race, it shows you are not one of "them" and you are different. Judys is a bar that is 80-90% Vietnamese with 10- 20% Chinese, Kenyan and other countries occasionally, it's a pick up bar in that all girls are WG and want you to take them back to your hotel / apartment. They are ready to leave when you are and will come to you if alone in the bar.

You don't have to buy drinks as they are the same price you would pay they are not higher for the girls, they don't get a cut. I buy a few drinks to lighten the mood and enjoy the night. They rub up against you, sometimes have let me finger them if they had a dress on (rare). I have after drinks with them reach over and kissed cleavage. Grabbed their butts. They have held my little guy through my jeans (OTC) or rubbed their butt up against him to get me horny. This is all to get you to take them out the door. It's flirting, you don't have to pay for it but if you are tying them up, they can't make a living. Some guys tip them for this. I tend not to as it used to be free, now sometimes they want you to pay for the time. The Chinese guys do it and girls flock to them more since they started. Foreign men are less interesting to them now because we don't tip for that like the chinese guys do.

No private rooms, take a cab back to your place with the girl. Short time can run 1000-1500. After you are done they will ask you for an extra 100 for taxi money. Expect that and figure it in to your bill before you leave the bar.

The price is based on how beautiful they are, how rude you are, how long you want them. I have usually gotten girls that are 7's and 8's for 1000 with 2 pops. I have paid more but rarely less. The 9's know they are 9's and hold out for closer to 1500. If you don't like the price, move on and ask another. I have gotten 7's and 8's for 1500 all night but I prefer to sleep alone so I really don't do that anymore. Prices can be lower Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night. I have had girls tell me. It's Saturday night, that's Sunday night price when I offered too little. I was there in January this year and these are the prices I paid.

The place doesn't even open until 930. The place is dead until 10 pm. The action is 10:30 to 1 am. If you see a girl you like then, take her. She may not be around after that. Typically after 1 am you are getting the girls that aren't as pretty or on their second time around.

I have taken more than 2 dozen from Judy's / Manhattans (maybe 3 dozen). I have had more good times than bad.
