It may be good to start a Shanghai wechat group so we can share the info? I got a few good contacts we can share.

It has been a while. I visited one in the apartment and the services were pretty good. The girl is a solid 8 in look but the service is so so.

Kind bring me back to the memory of apartment girls a decade back. Those were the good time and a lot more fun.

Just returned to Miami from a week long biz trip to Shanghai. Despite best efforts no good quality, affordable, safe fun to be found. Amazing change in atmosphere in a few months time. I guess only an authoritarian government can effectively enforce not only a crackdown, but instill a sense of fear into normally adventurous mongers and providers. GFE saunas gone underground, massage seems mostly legit, bar girls drink rip offs only, etc. Finding good fun is hit and miss at best. Prices rival USA. Maybe the intense summer heat and humidity even at night has everyone in a funk and we can hope for better things in the Fall, but for now, the playground is closed unless you want to overpay and under enjoy.

Did you happen to try Manhattan or Judy's? It seems like they are possibly the best option right now. I'm just wondering if taking Judy's or Manhattan girls back to the hotel is still reasonably safe. It feels like a while since someone reported back on Judy's and Manhattans. I'll be there in a couple of weeks and will also report back.

Adding insult to injury, they wanted nearly 1800. Politely declined and left. The 4 they offered I "might" do as freebies, but not for that price, protruding tummies, ugly faces, etc. These girls would have been 400-500 a few years ago.

They wechatted me after I left and offered a different location near Shanghai Railway Station. We'll see.

I totally agree. And why not pay 20 bux for a membership and move your personal convos to PM? On a related note, I hope the China threads do not become like the ridiculous and chaotic India threads, with posters constantly begging each other for contacts. If you have contacts, then say so and ask that anyone that is interested to PM you. Otherwise, don't beg for contacts. We have already reported numerous times, over and over, who the reliable outcalls are. Just RTFF.

Awesome, thanks Mark. Do you find that you need good Chinese language skills in Suzhou to meet girls? Which hotels do you have the best luck in meeting lobby girls? I will be at the Intercontinental, so due east of Jinji. Is the massage place you mentioned in the pants building? Thanks brother!

All my communication is done on WeChat, it has a translator. Although not perfect you can get the jest of what they are saying and they also can get the jest of what you want. After we do meet most of them have a translator app on their phone where you can speak and it will translate back, I also have one. That and facial expressions work great and also hand gestures, LOL.

The hotel is good, also take some walks around the lake and smile and try and start up conversations with girls that smile back and not nose into their phone.

No massage place is not in the Pants building or the huge mall below, typically they are on side streets. The ideal place are buildings that have KTV and a massage place adjacent to them or on the same floor.

Back in Shanghai after a few months in the States. Not much new to add to the previous reports about crackdown, lack of options, etc. Even some of my previous standards have gone silent on WeChat, etc. It appears the crackdown is part of a larger societal tightening including social credit scores for citizen, fingerprint scans for "foreigners" upon arrival, VPN blockage financial credit tightening, etc. While history says that things will loosen up again, or reappear in other formats, channel etc in the mongering area, it sure has taken the fun out of Shanghai for the time being. I will continue to look for good options and report back on any keepers.

Will be spending a day in Shanghai before Suzhou and am planning to hit a couple of Spring locations. I figure worst case scenario I will get a good massage after the flight, hopefully more!

I lived in Suzhou for 5+ years but moved back to the USA. Still get to Shanghai for work but not Suzhou and have been frustrated with the level of service and prices in Shanghai. Luckily one of the ladies I saw regularly in Suzhou moved with another lady to Shanghai and they do massage out of their apartment. I was a little worried the first time because it is a very Chinese sort of apartment and area, but it turned out well. Seems not having a direct Mama-san leaves them both giving better service than when in Suzhou. Anyway, PM me and I'll send you the WeChat info and a photo or two. The massage is 60 minutes with he included for no tip. I think more is on the table if you want to tip too, but certainly just for he it is a pretty good service. They go the extra mile to tease and build you up, much better than a lot of places I have been to.

The one who does the talking on WeChat is called Yang Yang and you have to translate on WeChat to communicate, she doesn't speak any English. She sends you the location on WeChat and from there it is easy. The work out of XuHui District near CaoHeJing Street and Nanning Road on the south west side sorta by the south train station.
