I heard from my favorite lady at Tulip that Boss has changed some of the shop rules. Whereas before the customer used to pay the full amount at the counter including the 1,500 Baht service fee, ie, 1900,2100, 2300 for 60,90 or 120 minutes, now the shop will only charge the price of the legit massage and the customer has to pay the lady in the room for her services. Some of the girls already had bad experiences with customers short changing them or even worse coming in for just a massage without sex. I think that is a really bad idea. Not only is it a turn-off for me that I have to now pay the girl in the room before or after sex but I am worried that it might result in different girls starting to charge different prices for certain services or maybe charging customers more if they feel they can get away with it. I don't think any regular customer will be affected by this but certainly a first timer who doesn't know they pricing might get ripped off.

My friend at Tulip hates the idea of having to handle payment with the customer, but that's new rule now.

Oh, and another new rule is that if a customer makes an appointment with a lady directly (via Line for instance) and afterwards cancels or doesn't turn up, the lady has to pay the shop 200 Baht.

If a customer leaves earlier before the the allotted time is up, the lady has to also pay the shop 200 Baht whatever the reason might be for it.

Knowing that the ladies at Tulip already have to pay for everything themselves, from condoms to toilet paper, I find these new rules are stupid and I can only hope it will not deteriorate the level of service that is right now the only authentic one left in Bangkok.

Virtually all the others are either hit and miss when it comes to service / attitude, plus many like Mango impose a 500 baht A+ surcharge.
