Sorry to hear that Golfer, I would though nuance your recommendations, and say only go with the recommended ones. I know that a few members including yours truly like to indulge with chocolate skin lady. Your experience is kind of symptomatic for a new evolution in the Dubai Scene. Initially it was bait and switch and you could talk / shout your way out. Indeed there will be exceptions and recommended ones would be better and having met a few in Kenya on travels can confirm that they are fun and great but something seems to be off with the ones who come to Dubai. Glad you love DXB. Now just to let you know it's reports of experiences in detail that help people on this forum. Saying you had a great time is just a waste of bandwidth here. You do have reported on hotel stays but what about the experiences during those stays in clubs or AMPS? That's what helps people specially people like you who visit Dubai.

If you are talking about St Regis on Trade centre road not far away from Burjuman then it is famous club 7 with good Filipino band inside the hotel. The new upmarket St Regis has recently opened in Al Habtoor city near canal.

It was already past midnight when I reached Stayin' Alive disco from TGIT. I was pleasantly surprised by the talents present. A number of nationalities to choose from. There were some beautiful Paki girls, some Indians, few Philippines, CIS ladies and of course some Africans. Most girls were more than acceptable quality.

Personally, I really love girls with slim waists and wide hips, and I'm also a fan of round, curvy butts. I was last in Dubai in the winter of 2015. At the time, I visited a bar / club and I am hoping someone can refresh my memory of the name of this particular venue. The place was highly populated with working girls (probably 100% And, most of the ladies were of CIS nationality- or at least a very high percentage. I recall this bar / club being square / rectangular in shape, surrounding a dance floor which you stepped down into. As you enter this venue, you could walk around either clockwise, or counterclockwise around the dance floor. You entered this venue in a fairly long, well-lit hallway- you would enter through one set of doors from the outside, then the entrance to the bar / club was on the right (people queued up for entry against a wall to the right). Maybe this place does not exist anymore, but I am hoping that someone could help refresh my memory of this place. I'm pretty sure if I hear the name, it will ring the bell!

TGIT is basically a small bar which apparently closes around 12:30 am and then the action moves to Pancho Villa upstairs. It is frequented by mostly south asian males. The African working girls are a mix of old and young but I would say mostly young. They were not the most attractive by my standard but on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate them about 4 to 5. A girl who claimed to be from Tanzania came up to me and offered her services, she was kissing my cheeks and I was getting kind of aroused but she bolted as soon as one of her regulars came in.

I completely agree with the scam stories mentioned here in the forum. Africans on SKOUT / Tinder / Craiglist or other pages are 99% scams.

I took a chance with a girl in York, she was quite pretty and from Djibouti. She spoke decent English, wanted to have a drink before going, and booked a decent room in the apartment. The only downside was, she asked for 100 extra for the room. I thought it was part of the deal which we agreed at the club. Service was decent and I left with my belongings intact.

Later on, when I visited York again, I saw her with her same friends. So she seems like legit.

I'd say, go to the clubs, talk and test out before taking them along.

I won't deny, but I had been a victim of craigslist scam once. Thankfully, I was only carrying the amount which we had agreed for. So not a major loss, only 4 red ones. But it was a lesson which I won't forget.
