As for Bolsonaro, he is a right winger, The Elites in Brazil want him to win. So if he wins the election look for the Brazil Real to get stronger as he will cut a lot of Brazil government programs (Pension and Social Security). Which will satisfy foreign investors and wall street.

Now if the PT party which is Lula (Left Wingers) wins, look for the Brazil real to be weaker (4 to 1, or even 5 to 1). They will push more government spending, (Social Security, Social Programs, Road and Highway Infrastructure Projects) Which Wall Street and a lot of foreign investors do not like.

So if Bolsonaro wins Brazilian mongering will be a little bit more expensive as the Brazil Real rise to the dollar.

Not so sure about that, when Lula was in power and into Dilma the Real was pretty strong. Back then commodities were hot and really helped the Brazilian economy. Lula did reap some of the policies implemented by FHC, so it's not as simple as PT wins, Real weakens. It's tough to predict what's going to happen as there are many variables to the equation.

There was also a very dark and violent side to what was going on in NYC then. Somebody who I went to school with, a really, really hot white chick, lost her way and ended up on the streets of New York hooking. She was the type that you couldn't believe was engaging in prostitution. And especially on the seedy streets of NYC! She was murdered by the most prolific serial killer ever in the history of New York named Joel Rifkin. Those of you from New York, I'm sure you know the name. 1970's NYC had a dark side period. I saw too many young dudes O.D.ing on the streets. Blokes would openly offer to sell you coke, acid, speed. Many streets were very dangerous; on many occasions I turned and hightailed it upon seeing shady characters approaching me. My brother was hospitalized after a beating by some bouncers in a brothel. I must admit though the service by the dames was excellent which made facing the dangers worth the trouble. No women in the world can give head like a NYC hooker. Also I liked the humor from the ladies which you don't get today.

With respect to Brazil politics a weak Real will certainly be good for our hobby. However, economics is not my strong point but I hope that whoever wins it is accompanied by an improvement in the Brazilian economy for the sake of the well being of our hosts and hostesses.

Regarding Bolsonaro, I'm a newbie to Brazil, planning my first visit in a few weeks. But my understanding is that sex for money is much more accepted in the culture than in the US. Be pretty hard to eradicate it at this point.

For much of recent months, the banter has been focused around the Brazil of yesteryear, and much pining for night clubs that have been closed for over a decade. What does that do to help the first-timer in Brazil? Not much. And at first glance, the options in Brazil are more stratified than in other countries, with names like clinicas, termas, boates, and prive, all which mean nothing to the inexperienced visitor. I'm still not clear on them. Germany might have its different varieties of "Der Puff" (FKK, Laufhaus, Bordell), but Germany is also an Anglophone friendly country which pulls in low-level mongers with Euros to burn. Brazil appears to be a bit of a challenge, at least based on recent comments which suggest that the industry is heavily focused towards the native, or at least the speaker of Portuguese.

That said, it would be in the better interest of this forum to get back on topic. Try to shed some fresh info on this legendary city and what it has to offer. After all, this is not a Philippines thread where anything goes these days.

I remember there was a place on 42nd street downstairs where went into a booth, put in a quarter and a screen would rise and you could grope the girls therein for a minute or so.
